Hi all,
I recently installed Legion Fan Control and after updating my bios to the latest version in Vantage, It worked really well and allowed me to put my fan speed target up and drastically improved the temps in games. Anyways, the next day after restarting my comp i noticed that a number of the settings including the ability to control the fan speeds was greyed out.. As i hadn't changed anything, i believed this must be some software blocking it.. anyhow, i had a play around found out exiting Nvidia experience and then booting fan control worked and i could modify the speeds again. Last night the problem reoccurred, however this time closing Nvidia did nothing..
I have since uninstalled Nvidia experience, Lenovo Vantage and faceit, run registry repairs, disabled sophos firewalls etc. and reinstalled fan control numerous times to no avail 😦 Strangely, my brother has the exact same laptop and its working for him fine.. Any ideas on how to resolve this?
