This is with the Legion 5 Slim 7840HS 4060 model.

Whenever I put it into Hybrid-iGPU mode (where dGPU gets disconnected) after a while my mouse will appear as its skipping across the screen, and you also notice a constant, consistent stutter in videos and games, so it appears to be a display/ graphics issue. The second I re-enable the dGPU, the issue goes away. Obviously this is problematic for times when Id want to save battery by disabling the dGPU. I will try and post a video later to show what it looks like.

-I already tried installing the new APU driver from AMD. Also tried clean installing with DDU

Next I'm going to try a clean windows install.

If anyone else has a 7840HS or 7940HS laptop please try using Hybrid-iGPU mode for a while and check if the system becomes laggy at all. It specifically happens when the dGPU is completely disconnected, so in Legion toolkit you get the "dGPU disconnected" notification and it wont show up anymore in the menus. Thanks!

Check if the screen refresh rate drop to 60, you might need to up it from the display settings. Happens rarely.
