After on and off risky and questionable tweaking, I've finally got the Legion Slim 7 to perform roughly on par with "standard" 3070s! Still a bit on the lower side but I'm very satisfied with the results despite a pretty nasty base bin

Total: 11 402 (GPU: 11 133, CPU: 13 217)

CPU: i9 12900h
GPU: 3070
Memory: 24GB DDR5 4800Mhz

Custom mode: 45W CPU PL1, 90W CPU PL2, +20W TGP
Core OC: +190Mhz, 8mv UV
Memory OC: -800Mhz (yes you read that right, negative 800!)

Secret Sauce: 80W to 115W vbios flash

didn't know this laptop came in 12900h. what were your results before vbios flash?

Yea I'm in the asia region and the 3070 was locked behind a 12900h

Before flash it was hitting low 9k max (pretty sad bin with low OC limits)

It was stuck at 80-100w, now pushing 115-135w

yeah temps surprised me, doesn't look like the extra wattage did much. can you link instructions to the vbios flash you followed?

The route I took was a bit more complicated. Had to bypass board ID mismatch in nvflash since the 80w 3070s and 115 3070s seem to be different chips
