I have a 16IAX7.
With some unplugging and replugging, I can get the laptop to take 93w when powered off but will not take power when on (but the charging light is on).
I've tried two cables and bricks but still to no avail.. Note: they were the same type cables and bricks and the cable is supposedly rated for 100w (though it doesn't look like it).
Any suggestions?
I find it weird it usually charges when off, but not when powered on.

1st try an ec reset
2nd your system might be drawing too much power for the charger to handle when power on

It has charged while on before but has since quit doing that. I'm in quiet mode with nothing running. Just the desktop
Another note: it'll sometimes stop charging even when off but the charger tells me it's still in 20v mode and the plugged in indicator is still lit
