I just unboxed this thing. Hard set it to force using the NVidia GPU. Fn-Q'd until performance mode. Even with that I'm lucky to get 24FPS in Fallout 4 of all titles. My 4080 desktop rips it to shreds. What is wrong with my machine?

Put in dGPU mode. Run performance mode. Run timespy and share the results.

Thanks. So either doing a clean install of my drivers did it, or what you suggested did. I'm not sure which but it's performing better now. I tried switching to dGPU basically through the nvidia control panel under Manage 3D Settings but maybe that didn't work

I would use the actual mux switch no advanced optimus. Either way, if you say it’s fine then there is nothing else to do here. I’ll close the post
