Model: M600 Mouse

Describe the issue: I'm not sure how to exactly explain this issue but I'll try my best. On most mice, if you scroll down (where a scroll is just a single 'tick' downward of the mouse wheel), the screen reacts and scrolls down a bit. On this Lenovo Legion M600 mouse that I got via a gaming bundle, it takes more than one of these small mouse 'ticks' for it to actually register.

Meaning I have to scroll more aggressively than I'm used to just to make sure that my computer is picking up that I'm trying to scroll. On my PC at home, I can do a single scroll of the wheel and this is what I'm most comfortable with, but I have a different setup at home. With this newer setup, the mouse is having the scrolling issue I've described above and it makes it difficult to perform some tasks (school work, gaming, etc) because it feels like it doesn't move as easily as other products I've used.

What have you tried already?: Tried looking at some Windows settings, specific mouse settings, and settings in the Lenovo accessories app.

**When did it start producing the issue: ** Ever since I started using it. I think it's just how the mouse is supposed to work but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to change this.

**Did you install new drivers or software?: ** No, not a software issue

**Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: **Not relevant / hard to do

I think the best example I can give of how this is an issue is in CSGO. At home, I have a Steelseries mouse. Once scroll = one scroll down on my inventory.

#

But when I use this lenovo mouse, it takes like 5-10 scrolls to just scroll to a different weapon

#

I was hoping this could be changed somehow so it feels more similar to what I currently use

There should be options in windows that control that

#

How many lines are scrolled per mouse wheel “click”

#

Like not full revolution. But from tick to tick

#

Hard to explain

Ive tried changing that setting and all it does is like when Im on chrome it like makes the entire screen scroll down, and a new screen shows up (like just the second lower half of the screen)

#

but in terms of in-game feel, its the same exact thing

I’m not sure then. Does that mouse have any software associated with it?

#

basically just dpi and polling rate settings

#

none of which seem to be this issue

Nothing in mouse actions? Anyway to update firmware?

dapper totem
#

nope for mouse actions and i doubt firmware has anything to do with this, its been like this since i bought it

#

i just rarely use this since its my mouse for my apartment

#

different than what i use at home

Other wise, not sure. Hard to tell if it’s a defect or not.

How to update firmware?

That would normally be somewhere in the software, if it’s provided. I don’t know if Lenovo offers that option or not. I don’t own that mouse.
