Model: Legion 5 15ACH6H
Describe the issue: Looks like on full load, its doing all core 3.3ghz(not base weirdly), instead of its usual 4Ghz all core(or 3.9ghz). I thought it was UXTU, i reset it and uninstalled the app. Issue still persists tho, also Reset Defaults in advanced bios if anything f'ed up. And ya know me, its not even thermal throttling, its chillin at 60c in cinebench but scoring 10k multicore
even on Performance/Custom Mode with 80w power limits
What have you tried already?: EC reset, didnt work, Reset BIOS defaults, didnt work... btw GKCN49WW with SREP(mister ruin prasies this bios so im all fine, it didnt happen before tho)
When did it start producing the issue: Looks like my ass is too ignorant to notice it(guess i realised it later), but it started happening since a day.
Did you install new drivers or software?: Nope
Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: (i hate my 5800H being a 5600H while sucking 45w, flat on the table so ignore my assy 73c temps)
#Uhoh Legion 5 15ACH6H aint boosting to 4ghz on full load

i feel stupid asking a Intel owner but how
@acoustic ravine any idea
no need to feel stupid
amd is still voodoo to me
How to check your default values with ryzenadj.exe
- Download ryzenadj.exe (https://github.com/FlyGoat/RyzenAdj)
- Extract to C drive folder (eg. C:\ryzenadj-win64)
- Type cd [folder where ryzenadj.exe is] (eg. cd C:\ryzenadj-win64)
- Type ryzenadj.exe --info
- Your values will show up
ah ty
duh i kept it to agressive lol
i set 100000 values in everything in UXTU
same bro
so UXTU should be portable install
if you close UXTU the effects will be gone
yeh i got the problem, fast limit set to 48W
yes, but what is setting it?
i thought PL2 here is FAST limit?
idk i did this lasst time
try using ryzenadj to set fast limits
ok
yeh i know it
i saw the readme shit
lets try again
ugh
still the same issue
something is triggering it
try plugging in charger properly
what if you set the fast limit while stress is runnning?
hmm good thinking, ill try
😓 wtf it resets to 45w again!
yeh it doesnt want to change now

ill try 50ww
@indigo knot bruhhhhh, it was the BIOS all along! its boosting back to 86w and so on now
@bronze shuttle your Tdc limit is low. That’s what’s capping you.
anyways looks like the issue is resolved!
That probably just reset something, wasn’t the actual cause.
great
mustbe
you changed bios to?
50ww
