Lenovo Legion 7 16IAX7
-During playing game have fps drop / cs go : normaly 400 fps, after 10 min playing fps starting drops for few sec to 60 and then stuck to 200 fps and droping again.
AC: origins, GTA 5 the same problem, when i changed graphic setting to low, nothing help still droped fps

  • i didnt try nothing for this moment, i want ask first here, i m not pc specialist
  • Problem started maybe before 3 weeks ago, for that moment was everything ok
  • Im not sure i instaled something..
    when i playing games temperature is around 86-88'c
    im sorry for my english, i just learning

If you’re GPU is this hot, you are thermal throttling. That is why you are seeing good performance for a few minutes and then it falls off because the GPU gets too hot and starts lowering power to keep the temperature from going up anymore. Nvidia GPU thermal throttle is 87C

This happens mostly from your fans being dirty or not having your laptop raised up to allow the fans enough air suction.

i bought him before 5 month, i don't think so he will be dirty/ from the dusty, but is true laptop is on the table wasnt raised, i will try tomorrow have little bit raised

Ok. Dust buildup can happen quickly depending on how dirty your environment is. You can just shine a light into the holes on the bottom and the vents and look to see if they are dirty.

btw: the ntb is raised so the fans blow without blocking

och i thought ntb is international :O, yes,its is notebook, every time temperature stop on the 87c and then are fps drops, can be problem with optimalization settings ?

I played yesterday and made short video, i have middle setting for quality resolution etc..

ill try again maybe this can help, if not.. what can i do with problem like this? The same problem i had with AC brotherhood/syndicate, Origin and now with odysey and with csgo sometimes
