Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ARH7H Discreet Graphics Issues

Hi all, im having an issues where my legion 5 pro is showing a black screen when using discreet graphics. I began experiencing this when i restarted my computer last night. I have to switch it to Switchable Graphics under bios in order to actually use the computer, since discreet graphics only gives me a black screen. I updated all nvidia and amd drivers. Contacted lenovo and they said it was an lcd issue (lol). Its worth mentioning that if i plug an external monitor (tv in my case) i can see my lock screen and desktop under discreet graphics, just not on the laptop screen. Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for the help. when running the nvidia cleanup tool (with wifi off), then restarting, the computer and screen turn on fine! Everythings back to normal. But when installing a version of game ready driver from the list in #1020285176531669012 , screen goes black again.. guess i just need to find the right driver for my laptop?

No driver should cause a black screen. I still recommend you use DDU to clean up the driver install.

Also which driver did you install? I’d recommend 527.56.

531.29. I just retried it again to see what would happened and it did it again. screen goes black as soon as 531.29 installs. can still see screen on external monitor now
