L7i G7 12800HX 3070Ti
5200 MT/s CL38
This time with a modified shunt resist (5 mOhm -> 3.75 mOhm by soldering 15 mOhm on top).
Full load voltage only increased from 0.8 to 0.925V though. Was that due to the VRM amperage ceiling? Not sure.
Modified the copper pies as such that now the VRMs have 2 layers of copper pipes leading directly to the fan heatsink + putty connection to the backplate as an extra heatsink
.
The backplate does get hot af but that's fine, extra cooling surface.
Overall impressive results, #1 for all 3070Ti's and around 15th for even the i9/3080Ti leaderboard, so there you go.
