That icon supposedly = it just shows that Windows has a charger connected, not even that it is charging.

But you're right, it's the general charging icon, which appears even when it's not charging (e.g. in conservation mode).

but if the switch in Vantage is disabled it means it's charging in normal mode

While I don't know if Windows recognises fast charging, it does understand when you're in conservation mode (and shows it with the little heart icon at the bottom).

I only thought its rapid charge because after the BIOS update the rapid charge was turned on and my laptop was on 100%
