My Lenovo legion 5 17ACH6H is not booting up. The screen doesn’t light up and the only response I get from it is a white light from the power button and The keyboard lighting up when I first turn it on but then it switches off. Number Lock and Caps Lock do not light up and I’ve tried all the power draining methods from YouTube but it still won’t boot up. Submitted a repair request with Lenovo Premium Care support and they have had me waiting for 2 weeks and expect me to wait more but I’m thinking if I can fix it myself cause I’m a uni student and need it fixed. One thing ik is that one of the technicians hinted at a dead gpu or driver updates but I don’t have an external display to connect and check

try ec reset
for many legion models there will sometimes be a bug where the screen backlight wont turn on
laptop is on, ony screen is off
but at certain lighting u can see the screen working, just no lights
No the laptop doesn’t work
Apart from the light from the power button there is no other response
I can’t change fan control
keyboard?
Can’t change keyboard lightning
try ec reset first and see
How do I do that?

did it help?
Nope
is it in hybrid mode
Yes
What is that
basically remove all power src and the battery of the laptop and mb
the mb will lose power and all settings made will reset/lose
Yes ik it’s very frustrating
It’s just that I’m in my uni dorm and resources are limited
Thank you for the advice tho
