Model: Legion7i 2022
Describe the issue: Crashed to blue screen restart 3 times with the error "unexpected kernel mode trap"

What have you tried already?: Removed undervolting from throttle stop however happened changed ratio on E cores.
Done windows memory diagnostic as a quick google result displayed it could be ram issue and suggested to run the test.

When did it start producing the issue: Last changes made, updating bios to 31ww to enable overclock, ddu + new nvidia drivers, adjustment of undervolting using Throttlestop, disabled windows 11 pro updates through registry.
Error happened a good 3-4 hours after changes.

I had a work assessment running on Firefox with webcam open, I had to go out so closed the laptop lid without putting it to sleep or shutting down, as soon as I opened lid, the error popped up

Did you install new drivers or software?: Yes new gpu drivers, bios update as stated above and software would be pycharm and anaconda(python)

Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: n/a but it was just blue screen with that error and restart.

day 2 of same issue: Games having micro stutter in the beginning - ruled out, i launched game right after heavy benchmark in xtu, probably the reason for initial stutter.

BIOS Version/Date LENOVO K1CN31WW, 08/07/2022

#

I updated it same day when I encountered the error, but the time of error and bios update was 4-5 hours apart

its running stable on -90, i did 2 hours of stress testing and 3hours game, was running fine

formal solar
#

doesn't mean it is stable tbh
certain loads can trigger instability

@formal solar sorry to tag you but how can I completely remove throttlestop tweaks?

formal solar
#

delete throttlestop.ini

#

then reboot

#

if still persist

#

just force restart

neon rock
#

the last file?

formal solar
neon rock
#

there was running lines on my screen in rotr game, hopefully its drivers and not the screen

#

do you recommend a fresh install of drivers again? i did it two days back btw

formal solar
#

observe

#

it is not ideal to try multiple things at once
as it would make trying to figure out the cause harder

neon rock
#

laptop just auto restarted by itself
screen went black for 2-3 seconds then restarted

formal solar
#

check with hwinfo if ttstop uv have been removed
