Describe the issue: Out of no where screen did the typical AMD screen issue, screen turned black. It turns on but the screen remains black.
What have you tried already?: Disconnected everything and held down the power button for 60s.
When did it start producing the issue: Just now
Did you install new drivers or software?: Yes about 3-4 days ago.

apparently it’s an amd w11 issue where the screen would like spazz out for a sec and go back to normal, happens randomly.

That’s sounds like advance optimus and spunds nothing like your problem

hold power button 15s
held it for a solid minute, the only difference was that the keyboard rgb and fan settings went back to default (white led power button and rainbow waving keyboard)

You can try to search on the server for blind bios navigating to change discrete and hybrid mode
And next time don’t jump the gun

the backlight wont turn on

Looks like similar problem with my L5P as well. I got mine after installing and playing FIFA23.

mine is a common issue but its not often
rare occasion after it went to sleep
the screen's backlight just wont turn on
u can see the display slightly but its just off

laptop is fixed for the most part except hwinfo is reading cpu temps all over the place. like anywhere from 60 to 90 highest on almost idle (just going through discord and edge)
should i just ignore it?
