- Season 3 ? / Or any other activity for players... For OW / Arena / Leviathan / Zero? any Battle pass, daily missions / rewards, milestones ... ?
- Any status of repairing bugged minting from season 1 ? (many player include me still have many NFT stucked in forge - include shards, dark holo Illuvialls etc) - bug report answer is "restart client" ... Its very funny answer for 6 months old bug.
- Blueprint / skin system from zero - any changes will plan or not? New NFT is minting every day... time is running out
- Leviathan mode and his future?
- Stats of illuvialls: Are there any changes coming? Nerf? Will they be of any use if the leviathan mod is effectively cancelled?
- OW and his future? Have OW any future? (Is it now planned auto-dron and close OW? ... may be an MMO in the far, far future?)
- Is there and can any development plan be published for the public / DAO? Roadmap etc?
After reflecting on why posts like this don’t see more engagement, I think the wording may have been off, and the intention didn’t come across as intended.
The ICC, after all, can’t answer the high-level questions you have for the team or IMC, nor can we discuss most of the NDA-protected topics you’d like us to address.
With that in mind, we’re pausing this approach for now and looking into other options. For example, we’ve been discussing the idea of an open governance voice channel where ICC members could hang out, and the community could join to talk, ask questions, or provide feedback on governance-related matters.
Let us know if this is something you’d like to see!
1 - Yes
2 - No Need
I can see the advantages of a low workload doing townhalls and such, but in my opinion in a multinational community the written word is king.
Townhall, voicechat, ama's and similar are likely good tools to drive engagement and mostly show of "we are still here and working" but usually have an in my personal opinion poor information value, especially if you also take the factor time into consideration.
Text offers multiple advantages:
- easy to translate
- Answers to questions are thought out and not just something thrown into the room or even false info
- Information can easely be found weeks/months/years later
- Everyone can read it whenever he wants
- Everyone can ask questions whenever he wants or they occur
- All questions can be answered and not just a couple
- etc.
What Dr Spoon said about writing being more effective.
I would prefer an ICC newsletter containing things like answers to questions, what ICC and each member has been focusing on doing as well as your peer evaluation results.
That said, it would be even better if that newsletter was then read out by a council member and the video uploaded to YT and X for those who have more time to listen than read.
Thanks @ember aspen and @turbid kiln for being so active- appreciate you both! 🙏
Written word is king for sure! I really like Rich's new post to that extent:

Torial = we are working to clean up the Governance channels on discord and more regularly utilize the #📰〕governance-news channel to this extent
ICC has the monthly newsletter and we also have our meeting minutes available. Will list questions within my text with numbers to easily track them. (1) Would you prefer anything specific added to either of them? We could look into this further
The tough part about the "Questions & Answers" portion is that many questions ICC might not have the discretion to provide answers to the public - thus leaving many public inquiries unanswered. This might be better suited for IMC - but of course ICC can help be the connection point
Peer evaluations are underway right now = 4month mark was January 4th. Per Governance there is 14 days for this to be returned to the GCM and then a summary will be posted to the community. It should be expected that these be posted mid-January - keep an eye out!
We will also have been using a tracker tool i built that will provide a summary of the following information: Votes, Rationales posted & meeting attendance. ICC has been tracking this since the beginning of the epoch - all this information is publically available, but Council should consolidate this for easy consumption for the DAO community. (2) Would you prefer to see this on a monthly basis? (3) And would monthly summaries be beneficial or keep a global summary for the entire epoch? Note: the first couple months will have results skewed since the data set is smaller
As for the Video for YouTube, this is tougher since this would imply at least one council member have experience with content creation - usually there has been atleast one, but mandating this as a requirement will be tough in my opinion. I agree that I much rather listen than read - but there are work arounds for that ....for example: text to voice applications

Sample Twitter post by Illuvium sharing the newsletter
I am on mobile so it was tough to locate November's - but maybe there was no post since it would have been in December - and holidays make things more difficult
December's newsletter is expected to be published shortly - final Approvals are being completed now
For example - many don't know this but you can Highlight all text in Chrome on a page and "Listen" - it is a game changer

For convenience = Newsletters are posted here
Sorry I should have used "the" newsletter instead of "an". I made that confusing.
I want more detail on what each person in the ICC is doing as well as what the ICC is doing. Each person writing a summary. I don't know if if that is possible but I think we as a community need to know more about what goes on. To be fair, I want the same thing for IMC.
The X or YT idea was more because when we subscribe to people it shows us the video is there. I forget to check for things in governance channels.
As for questions that is fair.
Thanks for the Chrome tip. I didn't know that. Will have to see if Brave has it.
