#Higher airdrop weighting of Illuvitar Seadon Buyers

Hey,
I was wondering if Season 1 Illuvitar buyers their airdrop weighting for Part 1 of the aridrop could be a little tweaked.

The devaluation of Illuvitars that came with the price change of Season two wasn't the best experience for those that bought season one.

I think adjusting the weighting here a little would be a fair compensation.

Start of wave 1, ETH price = 1550$
Standard D1sk = 0.005 ETH = 7.75$
Mega D1sks = 0.0249 ETH = 38.595$

End of wave 1, ETH price = 1800$
Standard D1sk = 0.005 ETH = 9$
Mega D1sks = 0.0249 ETH = 44.82$

Start of wave 2, ETH price = 1800$
Standard D1sk = 0.00301 ETH = 5.42$
Mega D1sks = 0.01801 ETH = 32,42$

End of wave 2, ETH price = 2300$
Standard D1sk = 0.00301 ETH = 6.92$
Mega D1sks = 0.01801 ETH = 41.42$

The price change was actually a good thing, to balance the increase of ETH value.

I don't think the devaluation of illuvitars has anything to do with that but rather the lack of use case we have for them atm.

Sorry, I was actually talking about the differences between Set 1 Wave 1 and Wave 2 Alpha Disks, I think the difference is felt the most here.

Mainly within the secondary market as Wave 1 Alpha Illuvitars seems rather overpriced compared to the Wave 2 ones.

Which of course makes selling your duplicates rather complicated be it now or in the future with more use-cases.

@slender coral If wave 3 started now with ETH price = 3200$
Standard D1sk = 0.00301 ETH = 9.63$
Mega D1sks = 0.01801 ETH = 57.63$

It's not a matter of ❌ it is what it is.
I know you don't like changes but something needs to be done regarding this.

From context, it was pretty obvious op was talking about alpha, not regular d1sks.

But as I recall, the price change (which you used to agree was a bad idea so don't know what changed there?) wasn't communicated/intended as a buffer for an increasing ETH value. It was simply bait for the masses (that never came).

But even if price did change with the intent you mention, then imo a simple peg to usd price would have sufficed.

To op: though I sympathize with the reasoning behind this proposal, I'm really not a big fan of the airdrop in general. So I'll leave it at that.
