Controller Support is vital

Overworld is an amazing experience. However I feel my experience would be much better if I could sit back and chillax with my favorite controller while collecting Illuvials. I do understand how Arena may be harder to code for controller. I am aware that you can download a DS4 app to make controller work partially. A full controller experience will enable many more people to enjoy this awesome game.

Personally, I would also very much welcome controller support! In the long run a console version is desirable and I think the work needs to be done for that anyway. But I don't know if that's on the team's list at the moment. But I am aware that there is still a long way to go

You can actually play overworld with a controller so there is support for it. The team has mentioned that it's not a priority now which is why the mapping isn't available yet. But rest assured that it is part of the plan.

I use a regular computer controller and it works great. When you battle and teleport etc you do need to use your keyboard but the controller works great in Overworld

If I remember correctly, this is already planned for the future, just not anytime soon. Setting up Arena might be challenging, but there is no doubt in my mind that there will be third-party software available to assist you if that's what you want. If there is enough community demand in the future, it wouldn't be impossible for the team to make it happen either 🤷‍♂️

Agree. I know controller support is coming but I prefer Zelda TOTK to the Overworld right now because the controller just works.
