#Interoperable NFTs

I was showering during the ILV Showcase - yes this is relevant information - and was thinking about transferring Illuvials to the racing game one day.
It doesn’t make sense to me that for every game we make we have to make 150 custom NFTs (cars for example) just for set 1, then set 2 and 3 and it keeps going. That’s not including custom cars they may want to make just for that game, so what if they did it by set and affinity. Like a 1st set water Illuvial gets blue water bugetti and there’s a fire bugetti earth bugetti etc.
Then they could make a purple Honda or something for all Tier 0 Illuvials. And then I started thinking…
Tier 0 illuvials should be the only way to play other games for free, so you have to go to the overworld and catch one (free) OR you can pay a slight convenience fee and buy one from the market for 50 cents or whatever people are charging. It’d be a good way to bring value to free illuvials people catch.

Disclaimer: idk what the vision for the car game is exactly - Mario cart style where the character sits in the car and if they could be easily transferred that way or not - or custom skin wraps on cars in which case having about 6 per set makes more sense to me for time sake.
Also idk if any of this has already been covered. Didn’t have time to watch every ama to check sorry

I personally always imagined the illuvials driving the karts

I had seen Keiran say him and his brothers were big Mario cart fans growing up and that the vision is for interoperability between games , bringing ur illuvials you caught in the overworld into other games , I'd assume that the vision would for sure be for Mario cart style and having Bugatti and Honda to me don't fit the art style or vision at all.

I like the idea of connecting games in some kind of meaningful way, but not sure I like the idea of a "free" games entry being to buy something from another game so it gives the other game more value.

I prefer a free game to be completely free to start, you see the beautiful art work in which ever store you find illuvium in and it draws you in to click it, the fact it's free makes you instantly download it, then the fact it's fun makes you play it a lot. The fact you love the game makes you spend money.

I personally loved Mario cart growing up, I still play a little beerio cart from time to time haha it would be funny if illuvium cart was targeted more towards adults and had settings you could use to facilitate drinking games haha

But I think where an illuvium cart could be unique from Mario cart is in the battle mode where characters affinities could be there attacks and defences. I suppose that could work in races also, you pick up a question mark and that selects some kind of item related to ur current illuvial character.

Exciting to think about lol even if that would be years or a decade away lol
