Will be a lot of work but they could start with just putting them in and running away straight away rather than a battle. So rather than shooting a singularity you shoot the running illuvial to initiate the arena encounter.
The fact that the new cyberpunk edgerunners show has this much impact on increasing player base for a dead game makes me think that getting a head start on a tv series/movie isn't a bad idea (for context; first 1 minute of this video https://youtu.be/hxNKzJ1oZ40)

chess live analysis/evaluation bar
in chess there is a live analysis of the position in the left hand side to show which side is winning (if the white bar is larger than the black then white is winning and vice versa). This bar dynamically changes each move to show which side has an advantage and if the weaker one is coming back. I think a similar concept should be applied to illuvium so that a spectator can see at a glance who's winning and this bar can also show the tug of war dynamics of a match (lead changes) which aid a lot in the storytelling of a match. i suggest a horizontal bar instead of a vertical bar and the bars just represent the total health/shield remaining on the board. this health representation may not be equal at the start of a match but this will also aid in story telling (you beat someone with greater health/mastery points by positioning your units well).
combat stats improvement + announcer voice/soundboard
combat stats sort by highest damage. but there is no animation (should smoothly exchange places with each other ala TFT) so #1 change would be to add smooth animation. #2 I feel like we should be tracking kills as well and should show in the combat stats. who dealt the most damage is not the most interesting/descriptive/visual story, id rather know that my scoriox killed 5 illuvials rather than knowing that it dealt 5000 damage. Sort order could be by kills first then by damage second. this could lead to funny/interesting scenarios where a unit deals low damage but lands the killing blow each time so it will be highlighted on top as one of the MVPs of the match. Tracking kills will help with story telling and have memorable scenarios where a single unit kill all of the opponents units an announcer voice or Arlen could exclaim "ACE!". or if none of your illuvials die you would hear "FLAWLESS". Tracking kills could lead to announcer soundboard for multikill, pentakill, unstoppable. Of course we wouldnt want to overdo the announcer voicelines but it would certainly help with storytelling. Like if you beat an opponent with a lot less mastery points the announcer would say "THRIFTY" or an arlen voiceline would say something like "Precision beats power" or something like that. I think this is needed because once you press play theres so much things happening and its hard to process what happened so these announcer events/scenarios along with my previous suggestion (LIVE ANALYSIS BAR) could help paint a story of the match (e.g. announcer could say 'COMEBACK!' if live analysis had you losing but then you manage to turn it around thru heals; or announcer could say 'CLUTCH!' if your last unit manages to win a 3v1)

Definitely, if it can even be half as good as arcane or edge runners it'll being a lot of people in. Personally see a good benefit of having both a kids style show and a more adult themed show to tap into both audiences
if we get to customize our own illuvials abilities by training with it and attaching stuff to it , it would be next level gaming, imagine owning unique iluvials that you captured trained , just an idea , sorry if it is in the wrong place, peace
Can illuvials have one several different ultimates.. for example a ramphire can have the aerial firebomb or a dragon breath or poison gas bomb.. gives each illuvial a chance to be different. So find an illuvial but then which ultimate would it have… in the future for a moba these ultimates can then be used for the character special attacks..
One ultimate gets kinda boring… dota heroes have several skills that are built up differently with different items etc… also more cool animations and hopefully more catchphrases for the characters.

Tag:game idea Post: each illuvial may have one of two omegas. Having another omega for the illuvial adds to the variety of animations mainstreamers would like and adds more fun to collecting like Pokémon. Pokémon has different attack and people may want to search for another illuvial to have both attacks to complete the collection. also adds some intrigue when finding illuvial. Did I catch the illuvial with the type one omega or the type two omega.

I own a black "Uni Moke" electric bike. I was thinking of getting Illuvium side panels, and perhaps turn my entire Uni Moke into a "ILV Moke".
Is there anyone from the ILV team I can contact to see if perhaps I could get some support for this?
After 2 years my Moke still turns heads, many people ask me many questions about it too. Imagine if it's totally in ILV style!

Post: Once a stage 3 illuvial hits max level, you can fuse them with other max stage 3 illuvials of the same type to make it a +1 that increases its max level by a couple levels. Then if you fuse the +1 with more max stage 3 illuvials, it becomes a +2 and gain more max levels and so on. The extra levels only have effect in leviathan and survival modes but now allows stage 3 illuvials to be burned for those extreme players who wat the absolute strongest. This also creates a almost endless use and grind for the stage 3 illuvials for extreme collectors.
Idea: Illuvial elixir
I think it would be cool if you can burn an illuvial and get some sort of potion or something that you can give to the same type of illuvial, and same stage, to boost it's base stats. This would give another deflationary aspect to the illuvials, and would give value to low stat illuvials. I'm not to familiar with pokemon but I think it had a similar feature.
Also the better the stats on the illuvial you breakdown/burn, the stronger the potion will be.
Also if you burn a ramphy, the potion can only be given to ramphy, not a ramphyre. I think for this to work and be balanced the potions would have to not give much of a boost, meaning you need a lot of potions to max out an illuvials stats. I would say around 9-10 potions to max stats on average, depending on how good it was to begin with. It taktes 9 stage 1's to make a stage 3, I think it should around 9 again to max the stats. It would create an even more extended end game because it's not just about getting a stage 3, you'll have to get 9-10 of them to have a maxxed stage 3

Virtual Reality with especially the autochess part of this game would work perfectly. Imagine you watching over your illuvials as they fight and placing them with your hands on the board. 🥹

I feel that there should be multiple options for cost of Travelling to different regions.
The amount you pay determines the amount of Energy you receive and thus actions you can take.
3 Fuel = 100 Energy
6 Fuel = 250 Energy
10 Fuel = 500 Energy
and then this adjusts also based on the Tier of the Region.
So people have a chance to experience different Regions even if they are on a budget.
It just means they need to be very specific about what they want to do in that region, because they wont have spare energy to waste.

I know (at some point) we will have a system in place so we can have tenants playing land for landowners.
For those who want to play over world more than autobattler, but still want the Illuvials they capture to get experience, maybe the Illuvials could be loaned out through the Illuvidex to arena players. This has probably been thought of but it's something I have had on my mind and wondered if there's any plans for this.
I'm not sure i'm asking this at good place but could be cool to ask every ppl entering the discord how they heard about Illuvium to have more statistics on marketing etc
Could be something like on-chain analysis for the expansion of Illuvium, would really like to know the datas, as i see now advising from Illuvium on many plateform.
@cold sphinx Whats your opinion on NPC trainers in the overworld? Either with or without I will love this game! Would it make it more interactive and how hard would that be? Also a cinematic mode when you are casually battling in the overworld just to really appreciate the love that went into the Illuviul's would really show off the graphics and the animations. I know it's already very similar to Pokemon but without trainers and objectives Pokemon wouldn't have made it only on creature collection. Love this community its been fun even without the game, Thanks Team!

preservation partners

hey family, I wasn't sure were to post this, but I guess here will work fine so everyone can see: I discovered a really interesting team/project and saw a great partnership option for Illuvium (and it is actually a general idea that can bring even more into our game with other partners as well, connected to wildlife preservation).
The one I am talking about is a new project called Rhino World (twitter @stray locustWorldNFT). Their new NFT collection is directly connected to a Rhino Sanctuary in South Africa, protecting the animals against poachers. Maybe we have something here... like a gen 2 titanor partnered with them, connecting our illuvial to a real life animal preservation movement. Cool stuff to build up on in the future.

(imagine the merch sales associated with the illuvial can have a percentage donated to the sanctuary, for example). It is a way to not only do some good in the world, but a good marketing for our brand.
also, something related can be done for the land owners. having your land as a sanctuary when you hold a Rhino World NFT on the wallet, who knows??
Does anyone remember when you could get famous people with notable voices to do your satnav. My idea is if we might be able to get these for emotes or even mozart sounds. Snoop, Arny, Elvis, chris rock etc. Micro transact that stuff
