Illuvitars as an asset are amazing. I personally don't want to accessorize my guys because the base art is just so good. The process of buying and opening D1sks on L2 feels very good.

However... viewing your assets is very annoying right now. You can't open them in a new tab (on Chrome), and after you click into it you lose your place when you go back. Which often means searching or clicking through "Load More" a bunch of times.

Alpha's from Wave1 will always hold more value. Cause first of all they were limited and second there won't be ever again a Set1 Wave1 Alpha D1sk freshly minted.

That's what always will make them more expensive and more scarce. Nothing will change that. And I'm not saying that cause I bought some of the Alpha's. It's simply a fact. Yes we paid premium but for good reason.

Although its impossible to predict how prices will vary, its seems likely that Alpha price, particularly for rarer Illuvitars will be notably higher than non-alphas (not financial advice).

On top of that as @alpine dew mentioned there may be additional bonuses for Alpha holders, the emotes being one that is already announced.

Just a IMX cron job issue, it stopped so no refresh of balance and no alert was set to know that the cron was down. @nimble finch helped find someone in the middle of the night and Aaron killed is eyes looking for transactions.

Yah I bought quite a few Alphas myself. But it’s purely a speculative play for me. I might care about whatever gaming aspects come in the future but I doubt it. In regards to these Alphas just remember they sold about 80K less D1sks in this Wave then they were hoping for. Next Wave most likely wreaks will be made to sell more. If true? Then these Alphas will be the most rare. That’s how I’m looking at it. But it’s a long term play for me 3-5 years at least. Good luck to you. 👍

Once successful your captured illluvials are used to battle other players and in time with more captures you upgrade them.. Beyond is simply collectible artists renditions of these illuvials . Avatars + Illuvials = Illuvitars.. you really should spend sometime on YouTube watching a few Illuvium videos. Lots to get into there.

I think you were very lucky to get 2x T5, I only had half as many megas so far but got nothing over a T3 (and only 2x T3). I did do quite a bit better on holos on average than you.
You opened slightly more d1sks overall and you crushed me on accessories. I only got 2 10% or over.

Seems like a lot of alpha lower tier illuvitars are selling for really cheap. This seems like a mistake to me. Ya, I know they are common and less powerful but they are wave 1 alphas. I have been told that T0 Holo Alphas are going to be rare because the number of D1sks sold and rarity chances of standard D1sks. But I looked up Aaron's past posts and it read to me like in the next wave we will have the same T0's and they will again get to be Alphas.

Yeah there might be some decent ones. But they are usually very rare. And if you want to compete in the leaderboard you have to bind all illuvials with terrible noses and glasses etc. the album looks terrible when you do that.

Accessories wont change. backgrounds may change more frequently but isnt confirmed to change every wave. So those may remain the same for a few waves for all I know.

I dont think Accessories will become less rare as you wont easily find 75x5 Tier 5 stage 3 accessories every wave. (5 accessories of Tier 5, for 75 unique Illuvitars every wave per person)

But yes i do imagine that people will mostly aim for the T4-T5 accessories and that low stage T3 and below will only be used once to make collections and then wont be touched.
