so it rolls the contents of the d1sk. if the "guaranteed rare" is below 1250 power, it keeps rerolling until it's higher.
so this caused high rarity illuvitars/holos to come at a higher rate than from standard d1sks

On Mega D1sks the 2nd slot is a guaranteed illuvitar of 1250+ power. If the d1sk randomly picks an illuvitar in that slot below 1250 it rerolls a new one

Here's what we can assume from the data so far:

1. The odds of pulling a holo are 12.6% (4116 holos / 32628 total). This means the odds of pulling a holo in a mega pack must be much higher than a standard disk.
2. Since both the mega and standard packs have a random illuvitar, and we know the odds of pulling a holo is 5% from a random, we'd expect 1,630 of the holos to come from random pulls in either pack. If the tier 0 holo rate is 5% as well, that means another 400 came from standard packs. That leaves 4116 total holos - 1630 (from random pulls in either pack) - 400 (from tier 0 in standard) = 2100ish holos pulled from the guaranteed rare illuvitar in mega packs. If 9,000 have been revealed, that means the holo rate for the guaranteed rare is somewhere around 2100/9000 = ~23%. Higher than I was expecting (assuming all my math is correct and the number of packs I claimed open are correct).
3. A total of 20 Tier 5 Holos have been pulled. They make up 0.4% of all holos (which is exactly what was expected). So the odds of you pulling a tier 5 holo from your guaranteed rare in a mega disk is 0.23 * 0.004 = 0.1%, or about 1 in 1,000.
4. If all you were shooting for was a tier 5 holo, and you had unlimited funds, 1k packs would cost you 1000*$192 = $192,000. Do what you will with that information :). I've got to imagine the single holo rhamphyre pulled will be worth easily that amount (or at least it should be given the odds of pulling it specifically).

Read what I just wrote above. Pulling a holo seems to be 4-5x more likely in a mega pack. Considering only 31 tier 5s have been pulled from standard disks out of the 500 or so total. That means over 400 of those came from the guaranteed rate in the mega disk. Since 9000 have been opened that means the odds of pulling a tier 5 in a mega pack are around 5% and a standard pack around 0.4%. So I bought a pack yesterday on my main pc and was trying to load up illuvium assets on my other pc but when I do it says my wallet doesn’t match the wallet on my account. Is that because I don’t have the chrome extension added? I paid through imx and am assuming it create an imx wallet when I did so? As I went to my metamask wallet address and can’t see my nfts from there.

Your IMX wallet isn't linked to your physical PC, it's linked to your ETH wallet address. There isn't an IMX extension or anything like that.
