I would strongly disagree that this was flippant. I am sorry that it inconveniences you. I really am. We would love to have the sale be at a good time for everyone. And even more so I wish we got it right first time. But we didn’t.

We’re also a few months later than we thought we would be because I put in extra features. In the end all I can do is apologise.

As time goes on our processes get better but sometimes things get missed. This sale isn’t perfect nor will the next one be but I can tell you it absolutely crushes us to have people upset with us.

If you want an Illuvitar you need to sacrifice ALL accessories and if you want a specific accessory then you need to sacrifice EVERYTHING ELSE (1x Illuvitar + 2x accessories).

That would introduce a) a way to unbond things without making the bonding descion meaningless because there are consequences and b) it would ad a deflationary component to the system and make certain Illuvitars + accessories super rare from a collectible perspective (not power leve) and c) traiding volume for Illuvitars might improve and d) it ads more descion making to the game.

More scarcity could increase their prices. if such a burning mechanic is introduced too early and the value of T0s rises back above the value of the more common T1-T5s, I think it would be odd. If after 5 waves, we have 10x the amount of T0 Illuvitars compared to T1-T5, then I would be all for it to make it 3X instead. keep the value closer to that of the other sets, but still sufficiently low for people to easily gain access to them.

The IlluviDex marketplace runs on ImmutableX, so if you have deposited sILV2 on the IlluviDex, it means your sILV2 is in ImmutableX. They're the same place (Layer 2).

And yup, if the sILV2 is on the IlluviDex/ImmutableX, then it's on Layer 2 and you'll be able to spend it in-game (when the games are live, of course)

Yeah, if your sILV2 is still in your Metamask on Mainnet, you can deposit it onto Layer 2 through ImmutableX or the IlluviDex.

Like Remi said, if you have sILV2 on IMX's layer 2, it's also "on the Illuvidex". The Illuvidex is just a marketplace on IMX. You don't have to withdraw it and redeposit it.

The Illuvidex does have a UI for depositing sILV2 (or other tokens) from L1 to L2, but you could also use Immutable's Marketplace website to deposit. It wouldn't make a difference which one you used, your deposited tokens would still be on IMX.

The only way genuine buyers could miss out on alpha disks is if they don't make it for the start of the sale.

Yes. Holo is, similar to expression and background and illuvial, a factor that increases power.
Since it increases the power of your illuvitar by X, cutting off all the lower power illuvitars will increase your chances of getting a holo illuvitar.

So a rare pull will generally have a higher chance at obtaining a Holo.

And T0s are worthless (sorry not the best word. I just mean to say that you shouldnt go looking for a "rare T0" and spend a bunch of money on it) Yes they can be rare during the first wave, but dont forget that they come back in the next. T0s will inflate every wave, while the T1-5 Illuvial portraits will remain equally as rare.

My post was responding to somebody else saying ‘imagine having an alpha misprint’ that would be so rare.

I didn’t think that was possible because I assume that the misprints are combinations that have not been opened in any disk yet.
So if something hasn’t been opened at all yet, that includes not being opened from an alpha disk.

Misprints won’t have the alpha tag, so the best you could hope for is that you open an alpha pack after the auction, and it happens to be the same as a ‘misprint’. Then you’d have an alpha 1 of 2.

This also assumes that the confirmation of what is in each disk only happens when you open the disk.

We are going through the process of fixing up some bugs in the images (which was inevitable when dealing with so much manual labour) but fixes will take about 2 days from bug report before your artwork is adjusted to be correct. I have had some people say 'why can't I keep the messed up artwork'. The answer is basically "because you can't". I just want to work out what you think is the best way to make it clear that if someone finds a broken image (like an accessory in the wrong spot) it will get fixed. I don't want people to be under the assumption that they can keep the broken one.

I don't really get what you mean. Remove the picture? The whole point is there will be art there to begin with. The issue is the whole 'changing the image' AT ALL. If people don't like changing it to be fixed they won't like changing it to a black image.

Many of you are thinking of buying records and putting them up for sale, there are so many of you that the price of the record will be the same as Illuvium minus the discount. When the discs start to become scarce or maybe the discs will go up in price but we will have to wait days. The Illuvitars will also be able to be purchased on the secondary market for a lower price, there will be people who will buy 5 discs, open them and sell the other 4.

IMX should be able to handle tens of thousands of minting transactions every 5 minutes. What will happen is that every X time the server will internally update the minted total (Nick says 20-40 seconds and Aaron says 1-5 minutes so it quitr often).
Before the updated amount is confirmed by the server, you are able to buy more and your transaction will be guaranteed to go through. So we if we sell out, there is a big chance to go over the 100K or 20K by a bit. So dont worry. As long as you press that buy button and press "sign" before the server is aware that they sold out, the transaction will go through without fail.

I had a great idea i wanted to throw your way incase it can help in anyway, do you know, raid shadow legends, marvel strike force, idle heroes, those mobile, gachapon burn to upgrade adventure arena games, you can make a game with illuvitars like that, burn to upgrade, arena for some sustainable rewards, and a complete gaming ecosystem, also it isn't a huge project, and relatively easy to build compared to a fully complicated card game or 3d adventure

im suggesting this because, the auto-battler is already extremely good, its the evolved version of a card game, you guys already are making the evolution of card games, this developmental advance is the right direction, we shouldnt take a step back by creating a magic the gathering or hearthstone style illuvitar card game, but then again maybe a pokemon style type game may work, anyway thats my suggestion, something like idle heroes 🙂

Isnt power related to rarity? So arent you excluding some lower power illuvitars when you crank up the rare power rating?
So... the chances for the regular d1sk to get a "rare" portrait cant remain the same... right?

Depends how high you bump it up to I guess but popping the threshold above a few of the less exciting 'rares' should make the megas feel quite a bit more exciting.

i played raid for over 2 years straight every day. please no gacha haha. its definately good for money grab tho but works very differently because you can always have a chance at any character forever

hahaha oh yeah definitely no gacha, i mean a fair system like d1sks but implemented into the type of game like raid is, so same type of gameplay, different pack system more fair

but thats all i got for now, tonnes of different gameplay modes and styles can be made for illuvitars collection
