I’ve noticed an issue with Illuvials displayed in the bottom rolls bar in-game.

Currently, you can’t see the stats of Illuvials you own until you buy and place them on the board. I’m not sure if this is intentional, but it creates friction in decision-making.

With so many Illuvials, it’s hard to remember their stats or levels. Since the game relies on numerous quick micro-decisions, not having this information upfront complicates gameplay unnecessarily.

Ideally, stats should be visible during the selection phase (in the rolls), without needing to purchase the Illuvial first.

This would greatly improve readability, decision-making, and overall user experience.

agree, I think some small tweaks can improve the mode.

I like that games a fast, and also that they are a bit more simple then gauntlet without Augments and Region buffs.

But I think it would improve the game mode, and also set it a bit more apart from Gauntlet. If there is a simple way to "select your team" without going back to the full team planner... something where you are favoriting 5 of your "Illuvial lines" to improve chances for them to appear.

Additional options could be, something like..

• A round that works like the "old bidding round" where you get 4 choices of weapons, and you bid on them against your opponent. (select from 1 to 4 in priority... if tied, you both get your priority 1).... and remove the weapon selection from the "in game", and only keep the Weapon buffs.

• A round that start when you see your opponent. (preround 1)... where you can "ban" an Illuvial line from his "deck". (a bit like in LOL)

So much potential. But the chase of a minimum viable product becoming a golden goose immediately on release compared to a long term finished product is too much to bare. It's not just an Illuvium thing either. Just gaming as a whole right now

My AVG TPI (secondary) is higher than my AVG TPI (primary)... and I have only slotted one for each. so I would guess it should have been the same. (I have all Illuvials, but for a few of them I only have one) 🙂

So I just went though the Team planner in game..
Looks like its matching the one it show on the Site.
There is one in each of the Primary Slots.
Only one of them have one in Secondary (Lynx S1).
(looking at my spreadsheet, I think the avg tpi should be the one shown in "secondary TPI".)

I might have, maybe one or two where I have selected one as primary that has 1-2 TPI lower than the highest TPI I got, because I value the stats higher. (but that should not impact the AVG that much).

I could try to re slot everything, but too lazy to do that today 😄

Avg TPI Secondary is higher than AVG TPI Primary (and I have only slotted one in secondary, so I would expect it to be same as the primary).

Total score Primary. is also lower than Total score (all slotted)... I would expect the numbers to be the same in this case 🙂

probably to some extent a problematic of the constant in energy regen formula nil posted above...
invokers can't really profit from it since they don't get hit and if they do they die. But a phosphorus, polarbear, scorpion, rhamphyre etc. that can take some hits... they go nuts while getting attacked.

One thing I've come to realise with invokers is rolling at 5 for the S3 snail is pure bait. It'll cost you a fortune and offer no real value until you hit L8/9. By then you've taken too many losses and end up playing for 3rd/4th. Better to just go 5 Psion and ignore it imo

L7 is a good spot to roll I find. Opens you up to a lot of options tank wise as well as picking up the odd T5. But tanks are also not in a great place rn either. Even the strongest get chewed up fast. And since everyone has the potential to pickup invulnerability via drone augment you've gotta wonder what purpose they're even serving rn.

There is truth to that about rewards. It depends on when you play as to how well you do - some times have far more bots.

in gauntlet only matter how much games you can play every day.
even you play for average 2nd place, but can do 20 games daily - you will got top-2-5 LB

rewards already not worth to fight for them.
when it was no bots/max 2 bots every lobby, skill matter a bit more that now. but still - who can play more/at better hours = get higher position.

at current moment, if i decide something, i'l implement dynamic points gain/lose depend of lobby.
for example:
if it's 6 bot's in lobby, and 2 real players, then 1st player gain rating, 2nd lose. how much depend of real players elo.
if difference with elo high - you will gain less, so gap between 1st place and 10th place of LB will not so big.

but for now you just farm bots most of time and not lose elo. +13 every game. and at the end of 1st week it's 3k. 2nd week if you play at same speed - noone can touch you until end of month.

different things can implement. but again, who care about 30 players and this competition.

Yes, when you don't have a level 60 deck, you have to spam games to one day end up with a level 60 deck

I haven't really been playing my 60s for the most part, I have been playing things that need to level, so its constant 3rd or 4th but 35 to 50k exp per game.

The team planner just puts icons on the units in game to remind you that you are looking for them, like these 2. It doesn't alter your odds at getting certain cards from the draw, its just a helpful visual when you are playing.

You can also use the team planner during the game to alter or switch out teams on the fly.

I agree Rewards should be removed from Ascendant for now, but I think it's a bit sad it’s switched off completely. I think the rewards actually might have ended up hurting it a bit to be honest.

I think it could be left open so people could jump in for some quick games, and could even make some fun events once in awhile.The mode is not yet where it should be, but I think the last patch improved it quite a bit, and there is a foundation that could work. It’s great with a mode for some faster games then Gauntlet.

Currently, I do not have access to:

• the re-rolls they have performed.

Without this data, it is impossible to properly validate whether the formula is working as intended. Any analysis remains speculative rather than data-driven.

If this information were available, it would be much easier to determine whether:

• the formula itself is correctly designed,
• or if the observed discrepancies come from another factor.

At this stage, a plausible hypothesis is that the formula is generally sound, but the issue may lie in the adjustment frequency. A micro-adjustment frequency that is too low could explain the perceived inconsistencies, as the system may not be reacting quickly enough to real in-game variations.

That is the safest way to do it that way you know you are for sure leveling up your best Illuvial.

yes that's correct...
Economic play is extremely important. So if your rhamphite is super strong and your rhamphyre is super weak, you might just play rhamphite and spend your gold finding other illuvials you have good tpi in.

but generally... being able to play t5s3 illuvials is pretty rare, and you need good economy thorughout the whole match. So most likely not a problematic you run into very soon 😄

I would add that most of the time if you hit a t5s3 you are in a winning position anyway 🙂

TPI is usually a good indicator however sometimes it might not be perfect depending on the role of the Illuvial. High TPI due to good offensive stats is awesome but if it's a Tank, it's not going to completely help it perform in it's role if that makes sense.

so better learn, think and decide now, which you have to pick.
so don't need made same work twice later.

exp without boosts = 11k. lvl27 most of bots. no strong decks for real players. game was not long as well 22-24rounds. win all.
it's mean, with all same conditions i have got 90-100k exp+ every game.
but it's wery rare when i got 100k. only if game 27+rounds, and 1-2 opponent with lvl50-60deck/bots with lvl37+.

Yes it did used to reduce energy res. They took it away with the Omega simplification patch. Patch notes said it's damage got buffed to compensate. It's hard to tell, I'm reluctant to cry for a buff to Psions in general because if they get a buff at the same time as Bulwarks then we are going to have a corner comp meta that'll be misrible as hell to watch, play, and cast lol
