We could, but it will take some time to implement. We made the selling area stay further away from the board, so selling mistakes like the ones we used to have in the past are much more unlikely unless you truly overshoot

100% agree, Imo there should be less spots for ladder, since as the month goes by it gets harder and harder for ppl with less time to catch up with ppl who spam games, just check the ladder state right now. Im not gonna go into ladder win trading and etc cuz its practically impossible to prove.

This kind of events are not my thing, but yesterday i had time, so i thought, why not?
1st game i finish 5th where 3rd, 4th and 5th got out on the same round. Didnt have any luck on rolls and took me forever to gather a decent comp. Not a great game, but with a bit of better luck i could have done way better. Balanced game were for some reason no one played rogues.
Went for a 2nd game, 3 or 4 players were playing rogues-revenant, and all of them were on top 4. I stop playing right there...how on earth can things be so unbalanced when we are going for tournaments where there are prize money? I mean, if the game is in an early fase, sure, we need some adjusts, but this is not new, we just had a new patch and they didnt fix it. Actually made it worst because they nerf the shields reflect (needed), so rogues-rev became the best comp by far.
There will always be some unbalance, but when 3 or 4 players are sharing the rogues-rev pool and still do better then every other comp?

One thing that i notice is that the team cares too much with how the game looks and less with how the game works.

this weapon system is complete trash game design that just makes literally everything u do account for 10% of the match result and 80% just comes from ur weapon selection on round 2

even more insane that the only reason to add weapons into the game was so u can sell them in levi and now that's not even doable so we're stuck with a problem created for no reason now

They force you to be flexible inter-game and they make you less flexible intra-game but the game should allow you to be rigid inter-game while giving more flexibility intra-game

How you go from having 3 main comps with multiple variations literally all at same power level into breaking the game to never have more than 1 comp and a half u must force every game is insane.

I think the real problem is the amount of composite crates PAIRED with the Weapon system, allowing some bizarre monster builds that should be really exotic and rare to be very forceable and easy to land.

The ideal would be to build our own weapon:

• First we don't have any class or affinity
• Then we choose one of the 5 classes
• Finally we choose one of the 5 affinities

The randomness comes from amplifications and we can change our weapon later in the game

Result: nobody is forced to be flexible inter-game and we have more flexibility intra-game

PS: it would be better to start building our weapon as soon as round 3 (the 1st PvP round) so that we don't have to wait round 4 before opening our crates if we don't change the current weapon system

Been saying it since I started. Rogues have easy access to tools that cover their primary weaknesses while still being able to hit maximum offensive capacity. You cannot go 7 fighter and 5 bulwark or 7 earth, but you can easily get dust and revenant for 7 rogue. Another major issue is that every single unit in the rogue comp except Fox is a carry in its own right. It's not like (can't believe I'm about to defend corner comps) bird or snake where a well placed shrimp laser will delete their entire DPS capability. No, with rogue you've got penguin, you've got umbre (both insanely overpowered with certain items), ramphyre, anteater, big chungus mole man who can absolutely slap the stuffing out of anything that isn't tricked out with items, and even if you kill those you probably can't take revo or the ranger because they're blinding you and getting your agro dropped constantly by fox in the corner who wasted half your team's time getting pumped full of shields by the revenants. And all that from a class whose downside to their offensive assassin play style is that they're supposed to be squishy.

I think the logic should essentially dictate that rogues kill back liners easily with access like psions and corner dps (high energy resistance would help), fighters should beat pretty much anything they come up against in melee, but should have low energy resistance to keep psions as a viable counter, tanks create space and time for carries, empaths support (duh), and that's that. Rogue's hybrid empathy synergy should probably not provide more survivability than say, the same number of pure healers.
