if you don't have illuvial - you will got basic with lvl1 0 stats.
when we play Polemos leviathan tournament we use rental system, and all rental illuvials was on secondary wallet, and they appear for us in game.

apparently, when you play leviathan, you get a free hair dye. mine turned red 😉

It goes in order from the person losing (they pick first) to the person winning (they pick last). You will see your drone has a little cage around it, when it lowers all the way then you can move your drone. Just move it over the Illuvial you want to capture it.

i agree. revenant broken as it was in May. ranger with 250 atack speed stack shields on whole team, and 1 revenant with 100% crit chance doing same, they become more tankes, that colossus.
but they abuse this broken OP thing in silence, so noone care to nerf that

I think that the idea of nerfing levels and genetic made sense considering balance, how fast illuvials were running around and attacking etc
It looked like they had too much impact

Besides that gauntlet is a game of details that can snowball, the butterfly effect is strong here so I assumed that a 50% nerf wasn't too much

By the way, I believe the place I got was absolutely fair.
My deck gave a slight edge — a small margin — especially in the first match. But after that, we were basically playing regular Ranked games 🙂 And I’m a really bad player.

But I was ready for that. I wrote a while ago that Leviathan was broken. Too lazy to dig up the messages now.

I’m not a prophet, but I think this will continue (the casualization) 🙂

Investors in Illuvials are a thing of the past. I think they need to be left behind.
They’re no longer important, since they stopped spending money. And there are no new fanatics.
Right now, it’s important to keep the Web3 audience morally engaged, but in reality — gradually shift towards catering to the Web2 audience.
And Web2 players won’t pay big money for a deck.

I’d simply release a new set of Illuvials — much stronger than the old ones.
That would revive a few of my Web3 cows and make the Web2 cows start giving milk again.

What would I do next? I’d introduce a new Illuvial progression system — and make it expensive.

Step by step, I’d keep devaluing old efforts and emphasizing new features.
Because the main goal of the project is to make money — not to support those who no longer bring any.

Back when the project had fewer players, I was often able to secure top spots.
Now, after I started working there, my goals have changed. We’re focused on growing the player base.
We’ve brought a lot of players from TFT into Illuvium. And thanks to the growth in active players, my tournament results have dropped.

But that doesn’t matter to me. Gauntlet isn’t work for me — it’s just a small hobby.
The development of the Dreamers Esports project is much more important to me.
I don’t want to judge my own efforts, but I hope I’m helping the progress in some way.

I think it could really take off if we launch it soon.

From what i have seen yesterday in the Leviathan Tournament its definetly possible to win without maxed out decks but u need to get lucky with waepon / augments and what other player in the lobby play and (just from the first feeling) its even more possible then i though it would be , i saw yesterday good waepons / augments or beeing uncontestet can compensate a maxed out deck with not perfect waepon or contestet players in lobby completly. That beeing said , top player with top decks will kinda surely find its way into finals cause he can compensate bad rng with his top deck and in the finals he likely wont have bad rng all 3 games so he will win.

fast guide for everyone who whanna get easy elo:
build rog team, if you got composite aug - remove everyone from tabel, and stay with 3 revenant - open composit box - get you revenant.
then combine all red augments to got more crit strike. put crit strike chance on ti-ru/slashin/umbra revenant - got shield for full heals.
for weapon/drone pick stacked atack speed. look how your opponent can't kill you.

you have to do:

1. save all red augments you can, to got true-sight.

4. try pick units he need/play around same build - they main units is both Phantom.

Multi-accounting should be penalized as cheating.
There´s a rule directly against multi accounting stating there should be only 1 account per household and saying that is insta ban to both accounts
If we are just letting people do something against the rules for a player base excuse then just declare Arena the Wild West.
Taking slightly that problem will just make the exploiters comfortable and they´ll keep doing it. I´m pretty sure there´s enough informations on their Accounts - IPs - PCs to prove that, cmon, even looking at the stats and the convenient placement you know what they are.

I always believed that ascendant is the best for leviathan mode. If a whale spends thousands of dollars to get the best of the best units, they want to use and wreck with them. Honestly despite having been very critcal with this project I don't understand the fuss. This game looks better than tft in my opinion. Sure it is a web2 game, but still a really good one with massive potential. Regarding leviathan it doesn't look bad at all. You need like a 20-30 decent Illuvials t1+ to have decent chances. Also, if Leviathan offers a sensible progression system on its own it just misses some qol features, but that is all. The 1on1 version obv. wasn't successful, so, the team, in my opion, made the right call.

Also, not getting all the perfect Illuvials all the time makes it interessting. If you would always get them we could just announce the winner before the game starts, which again leads to nobody playing and assets would be worthless.

Quick Update:

Internally we are thinking strongly towards adding in some units to fill out the roster. We obviously don't have ideal distributions since we are using assets that were originally for a 1 v 1 game. But we dont' have set 2 yet. So we are considering a "Set 1b" that will use some assets from the MMO to fill out the set. It might end up not quite as high standard on the art, but we feel gameplay is more important so this is an acceptable risk. We will do some tests internally this week and then keep you updated on that.

Note: It may also mean a few units get new tiers but we are thinking only to go up, so that people don't feel like their leviathan units are getting weaker, but instead getting stronger. It would be temporary until the Set 2 which will be designed around this type of a game from the start (and is already well underway).

Note 2: We are only using assets that the MMO has already developed so that we save on the work. We are really putting everything into the MMO so we don't want to take any focus away from those guys. This could mean things like instead of a taunt animation at the end of the battle it might just idle. Hopefully you guys are ok with that.

I just played a match in Leviathan mode, and I encountered a lot of bugs.

1️⃣ Please take a look at screenshot #1 — the board shows that I'm using 1/5 Illuvials.

2️⃣ Screenshot #2 — I bought the final Rhamphy. That should have completed the 3-stage synergy, but nothing happened. About 10–12 seconds later, the Illuvial finally merged. That's far too long — it should happen instantly.

3️⃣ Screenshot #3 — I wasn’t able to control the drone during the carousel. After a few seconds, the game showed me that I had selected the scorpion. I don’t know if it was a bug or a lag, but I didn’t want the scorpion.

4️⃣ Screenshot #4 — I won the game, but nothing happened. The match officially ended about 8+ seconds after it was actually over. I was just staring at an empty board. This should also be instant.

I really hope these bugs can be fixed. I’ve sent quick bug reports to @dark scaffold as well.

I accidentally bond illuvials when I try to place them close to my ranger sometimes which is frustrating

I think the issue here with rogue (penguin/doggo) and corner carries (stork/snake) is that they are either on or off. They either completely destroy or they do absolutely nothing. Also, Fox is objectively insane, and it fits best into the comp whose weakness is that they're squishy when focused.

as i say and show for past 2-3 days it's around impossible win this, when rogues got highroled with legendarys

every ranger hit on omega can reduce 5-10 resistance, with 250 atack speed or with extra range no way to survive, while penguin hit from other corner of map
