I've seen this in Dota. When you equip a second item of the same type, it grants 50% of the stats. The first item grants 100%, the second item grants 50%, the third item grants 25%, and so on

so it does happen, but it's not as effective anymore

for example, Auga gives you 30 dodges, the second one gives you 15 more, and the third one gives you 7.5. In total, you will have 52.5 dodges, not 90

It feels like all the game designers on the team have left the building and we are throwing out random stuff (tpi, weekly resets,...) every now and then to see how people respond

Illuvium is currently eyeballing to be the number 1 proof of why a DAO does not work. Even though it could work in theory this execution is horrible. Every day I see more and more people dumping their lands, selling their illuvials or stopping to play arena. It's time the entire team and council stops talking and starts actually coming with something of substance. If you ask me, even shut down all game modes and stop the rewards that are frustrating people over again. Whatever it takes to get something done

I don’t see any chose deck or build deck feature in game ? how does that work ? Which game mode req a pre made deck ? And which are player pooled ? How do I switch decks in game ? Or know which 1 I have equip

in the Arena you do not have pre-defined decks that your choices are pulled from, everyone has the same chance to get them in the store
You can create some decks but it will just create indicatior on the card itself that this Illuvial you wanted to go for

click "T" while in the Lobby, and you can see the team builder

they do in 2 ways, 2 affinities (air, water, air etc) or 2 classes (bulwark fighter...) creates composite. When you get higher stage Illuvial, he gets those composites. When you hover over the "I" icon in game, you will see all possible with their descriptions

Today I played against players in Leviathan who had weaker decks, but they played much better than I did.

High skill combined with a good deck beat me.

i think i had 2 mystics aswell (ape+adorius).. but 4 makes likely a very big difference

my opponent also had axodon with max water affinity stacked.

First you need an entertaining and sticky product that hooks the masses/casual players. Without that the prizes will go to waste. You do big prizes after you have an established playerbase not before. Much more important to create a good environment for players with alot of leaderboard rewards (not necessarily ilv tokens) and stuff to do. The time for the big prizes is 6-12 months after that

I totally agree that we need a good game first and thats what weve been trying to achieve since the start. Now our first game is getting done and polished in the next couple weeks
