1. how not miss start of game. ussualy que time take 600-1000 sec, and i stay in alt-tab doing other things, afraid miss game.
2. how not got into ghost game and lose 50-70 rating ( sometimes if you cancel que - it's actualy not cancel, or when game crash, while you que)
3. how reconnect fast after crash, freeze game, to not skip round.
4. how make fast decision at late game, when your fps drop from 140 to 40, your game full of lags, and you have to roll 100+ gold, change positions and switch augments, and for all of it you have 30 sec

2. Matchmaking. Should solve itself with more players, but now there seems to be 3-5 top 20 players in each lobby.
3. Game crashes. Might be my computer, but Im really getting a lot of game crashes. Computer is a 2 year old 5k usd beast even.
   Honorable mentions:
4. More t1-3 illuvials should be available. Scarce t4-5 is okay.
5. I dont like the live positioning. I prefer it to be hidden from the opponent.
6. Could implement an “item reroller”, to give a chance for different arguments etc, similar to TFT.

Overall i really like the game, although im bad at it 🙂 a game like this will need constant balancing, but i think it has a great starting point.

⚔️ Regarding Ranked mode:
My opinion here might not be entirely objective, as I don’t currently play this mode often enough.
I believe professional players could probably point out many fundamental issues regarding the meta and other competitive aspects.
So I’ll focus on something else: I really miss a proper mute system. I published a proposal on this. I don’t like having to manually mute every player at the beginning of each match.

🐝 Regarding Casual mode:
I miss having training lobbies where I can instantly generate the Illuvials I need.
For example, I want to place Titanor and Adorius on my board right from the start, and put something like Grarl and Blotto on the opponent’s side. I want to choose the augmentations I need from the full pool.
Just copy this system from Dota 2.
I know the lack of this basic functionality is frustrating to other players as well.

🍯 Regarding Leviathan mode:
1️⃣ Levels are not working. The easiest way to notice this is by checking the Omega Power stat.

2️⃣ You receive an Illuvial of the wrong level instead of the one you selected at max level.

3️⃣ Augments are lost when fusing Illuvials.

4️⃣ The "Shift" key doesn’t work when checking stats of certain Illuvials (no detailed info is displayed).

5️⃣ In some rounds, the losing player takes no damage.

6️⃣ Sometimes, an unused Illuvial ghost (Doka) appears on the board.

7️⃣ Illuvials from both teams are displayed on your side of the board for a few seconds.

Basically the game has not started yet, if you cancel the queue you need to leave menu and come back multiple times. It will always give error 400, but after many minutes the game will actually start and you will be able to reconnect

I think there’s been a bit of confusion with the terminology.

Leviathan is a setting where you play using your own Illuvials.
If you don’t own a particular Illuvial, the game gives you a free version of it (level 1, without any extra stats).

Previously, you were playing Ascendant. That’s the mode where you can use the “Team Builder” — meaning you choose which Illuvials to play with.

But this here is Gauntlet mode. In Gauntlet, we don’t get to choose our Illuvials — we play with whatever is offered in the shop.

So in short:
Ascendant and Gauntlet are two completely different modes, with different gameplay rules.
And Leviathan is just a setting applied to each mode, where instead of using default Illuvials, you use your own from your account.

hope so this gauntlet leaves much to be desired its ok for free to play , but as a buyer and even not ... if you have a favorite deck or team and you dont even have a chance to use it....it dont feal good .

You played with your own Illuvials.
If you didn’t have some of them available, the game gave you a free copy (level 1 and without any extra stats).

Let’s look at an example:
You find Grokko Earth in the shop.

The game automatically checks your inventory and finds the Grokko Earth you own with the highest level.

For example, if you have three: level 5, level 50, and level 20.

The game will give you the level 50 Grokko Earth first.

If you have zero Grokko Earth, the game will give you a free copy.
It’s weaker but helps you add class/affinity.

I think I understand what you mean.... In this mode you are kinda forced to have a full deck with good Illuvials.

I only have a few good level 60 myself, and was trying to get those in the games we just played.. but didnt get them... so had to play something else. this mode is also depending on luck in each game.

Ascendant is very different and much more around planning and you can choose your favorite deck (or at least that's how it was). Personally I would prefer that mode... but I come to enjoy gauntlet too, it's just a different style of game. 🙂

Hopefully they will make a "new Ascendant" and also a Leviathan version of Survival mode

I really miss that vibe.
The PvE mode, the strategy, the careful planning. The economy mattered even more than in Gauntlet.
You had to analyze and calculate every move the AI might make.

I can’t wait for Survival Leviathan to be released. It would breathe new life into this mode.

Right, usually a top 4 is good for qualifying in tournaments
Top 2 is considered too RNG dependant even if it's a Bo2 like in some Inferno tournaments
Here the average is superior to 4 which means that 2nd place is a bad result, you could see it as "at least I didn't hurt myself too much with this 2nd place"

The fact that if you grind 20 games and get 20 times 2nd place makes you feel further from qualifying is odd considering that it's about grinding

Also those who are in the top 6 are disincentivized to grind further unless they are really top players like sl1ckz and fox (you could even argue that fox isn't guaranteed to qualify because he grinded so much) so people like me will stay at 15 games because I'm more likely to worsen my score than to improve it especially if I get in a tough lobby
Fortunately I've been lucky and got something like 7 lobbies in a row where there was not a single player from the top 10 leaderboard in

True grinders embrace the challenge and plays as much as they can anyway, primarily to prove to themselves that they're excellent players. I deeply respect those who accept the challenge and keep playing, even after surpassing the minimum match threshold.

Being a grinder is a state of mind. You embody it even when you're at the top, because you always push to your absolute limit, regardless of your leaderboard position.

• I've been the social media manager of HYPE and got retweeted many times by Illuvium, giving free content to our precious game, I've even offered to host a private tournament but apparently it was hurting your ego and you acted more like a child than like an adult

• I've also been active on Illuvium content creators' youtube channel, often commenting to help the algorithm push their videos

• I'm a highly active Illuvium discord member and was the most active HYPE discord member for a while, partly because I liked it but also to create more activity in this Illuvium guild, I also regularly shared my top 1 screenshots which is valuable for a competitive community because not only does it foster a competitive spirit but it also provides valuable information about the current meta

• I've recently created a quizz event in HYPE that was very well received

• I fought against FUD like Amity in the HYPE discord who was always FUDing, you even saw it and seemed to be pleased that I made her leave after directly confronting her like "a real man" who doesn't use passive aggressiveness all the time like you

If we want to incentivize grinding while rewarding more good players:

• Keep the point distribution system (+8/+4/+2/+1/-1/-2/-4/-8)
• Make it top 16 instead of top 8

The downside is that it makes the tournament last longer if we add a semi-final to it, or you shorten the finals but it makes it less skill based

With this we would see way more grinding, more variety between the 9th and 16th place and players like Sl1ckz will have to grind 2 to 3 times less than other players who will qualify with a worse average

That's my favorite choice

We can also keep the current system but add more games as a minimum to make the grinding incentivization higher than the grinding disincentivization
Somewhere between 20 to 30 sounds good
