if the bear has a dominant class that's Fighter and you're using a sword (also Fighter), then you'll get Berserker as a result
Behemoth requires a combination of Fighter + Bulwark

I dont get ascension at all. won most of my rank placement games, but i get the same illuvials everytime, whereas whoever im against can keep getting OP ones like Singe. which i havent been offered in 11 games. literally the same hands everytime. So i must be missing something clearly. Not like theres tutorial for new people. Anyone know how to not get the same washed illuvials. OR even 1 fire illuvial. because so far impossible. yet all opponents have them somehow lol

You select a deck before you go into the match. You can make your own deck with the deckbuilder but you have to catch/buy these to be able to use them. Each round you get 2 ascension tokens and with these tokens you can "upgrade" your illuvial to their next stage (if you included that one in your deck)

Im assuming you are playing pb4 btw. If you are playing pb3 you can use all illuvials in the deckbuilder

Yep, the difference is big and perhaps there hasn’t been any concrete work on the points of the rating system yet, I think now the team is focusing on other things, and there are still few active players in the arena, so I just left this here because I think we need to pay attention to this , namely, that the selection of players allows for a match in which within the framework of the ranked there is no point

maybe its because i have ocd but have we considered consolidating the little tiles on the arena board into slightly bigger tiles? not as big as tft's but i think there's already plenty of skill expression so having fewer options there could be a more relaxing experience instead of obsessively trying to get the exact placement i want or when youre not sure if you left a gap in the corner big enough to move another illuvial into. but if everyone likes it im sure i could get used to it.

Sounds like a bug.

One bug that happened in the past is the game saying you have more mastery points than you should have for that round. So it looks like you can keep playing stuff. But when the round starts it removes anything that was beyond the amount you should have had.

Yes, we basically removed the ability to see your opponent's deck at any point in the game.
As Ascendant is closer to a card-game, it felt more fitting to not be able to see your opponent deck.
This allows for a more strategic approach, as you can fake out comps - you can, for example, start out with Nature units, making your enemy think you go Nature. Then, when the enemy goes for Fire, you swap to Earth stuff.
Also, it adds another element of "RNG" as you don't know what your opponent has in the Legendary Bidding Phase - "There's a "Verdant" imprint to bid on, does the enemy have verdants? Do I try to take it to avoid him getting 4 verdants?"
And ultimately, it is simply more in line with what we have planned for Ascendant.

Each Illuvial has a tier, how higher the stronger they are. Stage is the level of experience. If I fuse 3 Illuvial of the same there the stage will be used to calculate how strong they will be. Is this right? I am quite a little bit confused...

Just voted on the ethereal illuvial, why not make all ethereal be illuvials from the next wave. This way nobody can prepare on their abilities and get hyped about catching them when they are part of the Overworld.

You need Stage 1 of every illuvial you have a stage two off, of you add a Stage 2 or 3 without the stage 1 the team is invalid.
