Well I have to say I haven't played a lot of this style of game and I have just had a few rounds of PVP and its triggered all the right emotions. I love what the team is doing and everything about the game but at the end of the day the game has to produce the goods. I am obsoletely loving it so far and now I see what what Grant was talking about. It has the hook and I want to play more. Does anyone else feel the same way or is it just me?

Great to hear im not alone. I was playing Dota2 back about a year ago and I loved the game but I just went off it and I havent been able to find the one game to regularly play and enjoy. Tried a lot of steam games city builders etc but nothing left me wanting to come back for more. After this session of PVP I am hooked. yeah, though i'm not middle aged... But definitely liking the way this game is played. It's quick paced but it's not based on reflexes. Even a 60 year old will be able to tackle the game and become like top X%. Unlike FPS or such high-intensity games.
It's something we will be able to enjoy for years to come!

Not official or technical. But bonding gives your ranger an additional affinity/class or gives your ranger a composite affinity. It’s based on the

it's not about your raw rating. It's relative to your opponent, and very gradually decreases the more games you play. The decrease levels out after a while though. So if you've played a lot of games and face someone quite a bit lower rated than you, you won't get very much for a win.

I think I am clear that Heal 800 just means your Illuvial gets 800 added to their health - but can they go over what they started at? For example if you have a Lesser Fliish at 930 starting health, they drop to 623 would they then have 1,423 health?

As for Gain 4% Health Regen - I've always thought health regen is that they generate health over time, is that correct? If so, I don't know how many seconds it is, is it 4% every second or???

yeah, heal should be capped at max health in that case. Haven't tested this on low hp units but I don't see why it should be different than any other heal like the heal from empath units.
Regarding hp regen Illuvial masters has a good description in their dictionary

I didn't have it that bad, but I feel like +10 (or whatever the team deems appropraite) should be minimum gain since if you lose to this low of a rank, it'll mean you lose a lot, lot of points probably. Right now, it's like high risk, very low reward.

Everything can be countered. That's the nature of paper, rock, scissors. But, that's different than the issue here. I think the issue here is that the damage is so outsized that it's obvious to just about everyone that it's in a bad place right now. Give it some more time - it'll be getting worse as people figure more stuff out. The multiplier is just too high. Also, I'm not complaining as I feed on these decks (so far at least).

Not a fan of the gauntlet dmg because I think the core part of a deck should be an Illuvial but maybe it isn't even imbalanced because there are decks that beat this quite easily (It is imbalanced in the sense that other weapons pale in comparison).

Its definitely a bug going around where illuvials come off the board, or you have wayy too many mastery points for a particular round. I'm not sure what causes it but I've had it happen to me 4-5 times now. Hopefully they can fix it before the 28th cuz it can definitely lose matches. Only bug that I've found so far though, other than that it has been very smooth

What are the top two elo’s? I capped out over 2130 and sit at over 2k currently with less than six months in this game. Most people would say that’s a respectable accomplishment.

Anybody here thinking that pvp needs to be changed as to avoid situations of being hard countered from round 1? I.e. have more decks to select after seeing opponents decks/drawing cards instead of having your whole roster there/abilities to remove cards from enemies deck/ something else

Composite are seperated from basic classes. But the fighter buff gives attack speed to your whole team. So it should not matter if your team is arcanite or something else.
