Having the dilemma to start back or not is important imo, i think 4 attempts is a lot tough, its a great commitment to start a game and often its just a stopper wave, like today i did 32-32-32-32, quite boring way to do a run

While it doesn't solve all the crashes, the next update does a much better job of reconnecting the player to the game. So if you get a crash the only down site will be that you can't do actions while you start it up again. But you'll still be in the game.

There will absolutely be some account bound items. If the council changed that they would be morons because it would instantly lead to infinite NFTs.

Some thing shouldn’t be, obviously. But achievements should. Imagine collecting all Illuvitars, and getting an NFT and then just selling all your illuvitars to yourself on another account.

It’s also obviously not 90% account bound. Only where doing the opposite would make us look like complete morons.

If the community or the council couldn’t see that obvious situation then at least I’d be able to say “told you so” after they screw it up. 😛

Yes, I generally agree, but there are different situations in life. People get sick, grow old, and die... such titles can be passed down through inheritance. And close or trusted persons should have the ability to dispose of them as they see fit (sell, transfer, give as a memento, etc.). They have a limited amount of time to develop, so they should develop the one with the highest priority.
Survival mode is more than 90% complete, so if it takes time to make minor modifications, it can be done later, I have no problem with it as it is, as we all have the same requirements.
but I would like to increase the number of users, so I would like to see the introduction of a ranking system as soon as possible.
I hope There will be some improvements in PB3.

illuvitars are very important as they are essential for funding safety pools and operations.
This has made the price of sILV2 higher, and if the price of sILV2 can stay above 80%, more people will be staking their ILV.
This is very important for keeping ILV prices in line.
so The success of illuvitars is very important.

I'm not a developer, so I don't know how long it takes to fix the survival mode, but I'm sure they're checking here and if it should be able to fix easy they will do it.

Was illuvitars a good Investment of ressources? I guess so, there was/is fear of runway, and with illuvitars they have a simple solution to increase runway before the Games are ready.
IZ, Overworld and Arena should be in the Same lvl in their priority list, since they have to release all of them at the same time.
Should be a fix of the leaderboard in survival Mode which is in beta phasefor testing and is just a Part of the arena at the top of the priority list? I don't think so... i rather Like to See all 3 Games with all mechanics in Beta testing as soon as possible before they start to fix all the little Details.

for early game econ use a behemoth bond (sword + bond to bullwark or shield + bond with fighter), play fighters generally speaking early

also a magma bond + thorns on sear is really strong early game where units get no healing and just kill themselves on the thorns

I thought that it hard to clear first run on WAVE33.
I had 2 checkpoints left, but I stopped at Wave 34 because I thought it difficult, and Wave 33 was also very close to clear, so I wasn't confident.

rhamphyre is a very hard to balance unit

cause on the one hand you need a unit that can kill a clump of nature/air/empaths that just sit there and heal/shield/dodge all day

but on the other hand, when the rhamphyre is the best unit even against a full bullwark board cause the ult just oneshots them as well, thats a problem

its a 180 cost unit with 2 augments, so it has to be pretty good, but auto winning is a bit much

In the previous version, the game was won in 20 to 30 seconds, so rhamphyre was completely useless!
It's possible that the balance could be changed again.

Keep in mind, the eventual 'balance' state is around pvp, where the opponent can react to what you are doing. In survival, you get to set up everything exactly how you want it seeing the opponents exact position. Survival will inherently be unbalanced to some extent, assuming it continues to use the same combat units/engine/etc as pvp.

yeah and balance also depends on what tools do you have at your disposal to counterplay it. As of now, not only we have strong tools to potentially stun it and/or redirect focus on it before it casts but we also haven't seen every illuvial play yet.

So while i get it's fun to just play for the leaderboard, i'd suggest we focus our efforts into finding and reporting bugs like the one discovered by @weak meteor . At the end of the day, that's why we have access to the beta. Not to compete.

I don’t really know how to play this game very well, but I feel like the idea is to usually build around your best augment. Put the argument on the best matching illuvial and then win. Since the deck changes each day, I assume that you can’t exactly force a build.

basically when the game starts you filter by empaths, and play all of them before you do anything else

Supreme dedication to the brand and lifestyle

Some quick explanations:

We only have 2 sources of damage in this build, snake and titanors thorns

Our first goal is to maximize snake damage and keep him alive at all costs. We dont really have a good 2nd snake augment, so we put the 40 cost aoe healing on him for the raw stats, and it turns out to be pretty useful to heal your frontline units with it as well.

To buff our snake we put in a trashbird. The trashbird is off-damage and survives long into the round. That's why we give him scaling augments. Since we have enough tankyness and need damage more than anything we give him damage stats.

Our second goal is to make titanor as tanky as possible so he can do thorn damage as much as possible, ergo colossus + as many bullwarks as we can get + as much earth as we can get... besides the thorns he gets the frost augment for an extra shield at start and for dodging.

The problem on this wave is the amount of damage the enemy team has combined with 4 saccarines. The only enemy unit that we want to kill badly that has no saccarine is the snake on the left side. Thats why we send in the rake there... while the rake doesnt kill the snake flat out, he does enough damage so that when our titanor/trashbird ult, the snake dies to those 2 damage outputs.

In the meantime we focus right side to stay away from the enemy rhamp. We proc the scorpion and snake saccarine asap, kill the small snail and finish off the ryplance/phyriox to remove 2 units that pose a threat to our titanor.

Our snail is tanking the eneme rhamps and catches the enemy trashbird/dualeph ults as a decoy.

Our earth empath is frontlining to take some damage away from our titanor since he might get overwhelmed otherwise, he has to stay alive as long as possible.

Malura is distracting the enemy axodon so that our damage units on the right can clear the enemy damage dealing on the right side, and gives the enemy scoriox a second target to shoot after our ranger/rake die. Even with all this the wave is close!

It should be clear by now that I don’t play often. But when I do I constantly have to read almost everything to understand what’s going on with the deck. I almost always have to place augments twice because I can’t remember what the boost icons do. I’m old, slow, and don’t care that much. So, without any desire to use the untimed training mode (because I’m playing for fun anyways) I find that I can get most waves planned before time expires, but if I’m there second guessing myself too many times or dealing with a kid or taking a call or folding laundry I’ll get caught. It brings just a little bit of tension to a battle against a randomizing bot. I don’t see survival being a favorite game mode. It seems to me like it’s built for learning. And that can take time.

However, I can’t believe that anyone like me who’s simply not in it to compete for top ranks would feel bad if there was some sort of maximum time that would keep us off the top of the “ranked” leaderboard. Studying previous placements and others’ winning strategies during the run while shooting for top ranks seems to stand in contrast to true top tier play.

Yah if you are at the stage where you need to learn the illuvials and augments (trust me this takes me way too damn long whenever new stuff comes out so I get it) then casual mode is probably going to be a lot more helpful so you can really take your time to understand everything. Once you have all that boring memorization stuff down then youll get more value out of competitive mode and going for the top

Guys who have folowed the updates, did the team brought back some usefulness to get hyper as in pb1 or getting hyper / managing that the other team doesn t get hyper is still useless as in pb2 ?

In pb1 this dynamic was really interesting, sometimes it were better to sacrifice some damage to be sure opponents doesn t get hyper, and if we wouldn t do it we loose the wave.
Since PB2 hyper have literally 0 impact and I really think that s a big loss in the deepness of the strategy
