there is no dmg multiplayer with elements, countering enemies element work for building hyper with your illuvial, after illuvial get hyper to 100% he will get some bonuses based on his class

Just caught up on some of these questions about damage colors. It's physical and energy damage. Omegas say their damage type, auto attacks are determined by the class. There's also a third color, white, which is true damage (or pure damage in some vocabs, not sure which they're calling it)

So Axon is bulwark and psion so 50/50 energy and physical

Axon auto attack are physical because he hit physicaly and his omega is energy because its a water shield exploding, any illuvial you can just take 2s to think about it and you will understand thats its literraly physical & energy

it is class based, sorry to rain on your parade. just watch the damage numbers (they're color coded) as the unit auto attacks. psions auto for energy only, umbre attacks for mixed damage (rogue + psion), titanor attacks for pure physical (bulwark)

Didnt know about umbre being mixed, other than him i think it stands. Ill pay attention to mixed class but previously when i paid some attention to it i found it way easier to just see how it looks than base on class even tough it relates to the class

damage types are mostly irrelevant right now though (other than pure damage), since all defensive buffs are symmetrical. Once we have access to physical specific defenses or energy specific defenses, damage type should become slightly more relevant

Depends on what time of day you play, as well. It's definitely not 100% of PB1 members who are playing every day.

But also remember that for those who have been in PB1 for a while, the game has been the same for quite some time. At this point, a lot of beta testers are waiting for PB2 to jump back into it.

Just played PB1 today. I play TFT daily at lunch time. I gotta say I've been blown away by the graphics, animations, sounds, music and gameplay. As other said, we need PVP and overworld mechanics to make it really repayable, but wow, It's really validated my investment in ILV and even though I have watched tons of videos, playing in person, it has blown me away. TBH before playing I was doubting any future investments, risk management and all, but since playing I have decided to double down in the near future. The hype is real. Well done team.

yo so i was running it with a rhamphy, rhamphite & malura last night.. and it seemed that when all 3 omega aoe's go off simultaneously - it glitches out and doesnt deal the proper damage.. i could of been tripping

It was said that umbre and Rhamphyre would see a class swap. Rhamphyre being a slayer made no sense while umbre basically kills low HP targets with his omega so makes more sense to then become stronger :)

I played around double stun (kukka and Hunter bulwark) to neutralise main rogue threats. I think mandatory to use double granite so titanor and teeantee. Then I tried to focus on outdpsing the healers in the latter waves so dualeph and phyriox

but i still suck at this game so I wouldnt use this strat as gospel. Im sure theres more efficient ways to go deep

These are my opinions. I’ll talk about the good, bad, and concerns. I am not basing the game in any way. I enjoy it, and can’t wait to play the real thing.

So after playing for a week:

Good-
the graphics are awesome,
I loving learning about the cards and strategy. It’s like yugioh for that aspect, but the set up/positioning add a really cool strategy aspect to it.
I enjoy the game and can’t wait to play both zero and overworld.

-bad:
I noticed a few small glitches like when supers go off, the animation doesn’t alway work, or sometimes the illuvial will defeat a guy and just stay there and do nothing for about 2-5secs before moving/attacking again.

Concerns:

1. over world, not here yet but I was hoping it isn’t just searching for materials and illivials. As in something can attack you, you build things, etc.
   I say this because just roaming and picking up stuff, will not be enough to attract bigger audiences imo. Thinking of younger gens with Minecraft/fornite being so big. I want Illuvium just as big as there were/are or bigger.
2. my true concern really deals with people playing only for money. This IS awesome of course, I just would dislike it being the only reason.

Some things I would like added:

1. complete 360 camera rotation. I can zone in and out which is cool, but would love to be able to go around the whole ring.(also great for promo videos 🤓)
2. play with a controller instead of mouse and key pad(we could make a key binding menu option to customize it for each user)
3. status change when selecting weapons and armor for ranger. Kind of like when your about to add a guy and it shows what’s about to update.
4. and of course just impatient for pvp but that’s a me problem 😅
5. for pvp can we have a button in match that allow us to talk to each other, as well as mute for the annoying trolls 😅

Overview all I really like playing, can’t wait to play pvp, being able to use my land and build on it and exploring the massive worlds they have and the story!

Just gotta manage expectations. We seem to forget this is basically a private beta. Bugs & broken mechanics abound. What were playing isnt even the whole auto-battler experience. PB2 probably adds 200% more of where we are with new illuvials, mechanics, and augments.

As much as I feel for everyone here especially those whos been part of the first batch of beta testers, we just need to keep this in mind. Its not the whole auto-battler experience and until we get to launch this will have soooo many issues and bugs still.

Well the goal from a Beta, is that the player can give feedback / bug detect and some changes are made about it.
The point here is that we did that job during month without any upgrade. I understand the reason because there is a big rework about some mechanics.
We bring the competitive there to give a reason to continue to grind the game and find more of theses feedback and to prepare ourself for the launch, But we are at a point that we just wait now that update about all we gave back to the team now.

Don't get me wrong, i totally understand your frustration... the Crashes are annoying af, some other buggs too.
But in the end, we are at a really early Stage of the game, they do a Lot of things at the Same time (autobattler, Overworld, tokenomics, anti-bot features, council-concept, blockchain, etc.)
So i totally understand they didn't Update the very first version of a part of the game weekly.

@left tartan I definitely agree with a lot of what you said about pros and cons. For me the big one is the overworld only being about collecting. I remember Aaron saying early on he has a great plan for the story. I hope this is true because a lot of the success of the game will rely on the story for overworld imo.

Some nice suggestions here, I wouldn't expect in game tutorials in the near future. I'd encourage you, and anyone else, to send me your suggestions at [e-mail] I have an ongoing dialogue with our devs to go over player feedback and see what we can implement. There are a number of great changes coming in PB2 based off of player feedback (No more shift + right click to equip the ranger).

Ramphrye is awesome but to me can really suck if it’s 1 vs 2

Example 1 guy and ramohyre are fighting, ram uses his ultimate, and your guy just runs to the next guy and ram hits nothing….I was so butt hurt the first time lol

You may want to invest in a stronger computer before everything goes live, assuming you're going to create content. I don't know if that will help, but I bucked up for mine about a year ago, and I almost never crash fwiw.

there are days where i crash 10+ times like today

there are days were i have 0 crashes

there are days where i stream to 2 platforms epic graphics no crashes

there are times when i play offstream, lowest graphcis i crash every 10 minutes

They've said most of the crashes are groom related, regardless of whether the option is checked on or off, and is mostly fixed in the next build. Best we can do is wait for Pb2, doesn't seem like any patch will come out for pb1.

Is the space bar supposed to start a wave? Sometimes I am trying to reset my camera with space bar and then my illuvials start attacking when I still have 50 unused mastery points just sitting there.

I recommend using '1' to reset cam, as it won't 'randomly' start waves like spacebar sometimes does.

Two types of crash reports, the in game client which will come straight to our devs, and the UE crash reporter which goes to Epic.

Can you send a crash report through the game client next time you have a crash, I'll see if I can get one of the devs to look at it directly

Most of the crashes come from issues to do with groom. Unfortunately we're so close to PB2 that we decided it wasn't worth it to do an update for that for beta customers since right now we're heavy in lots of other changes that might cause issues.

I know this is a pain in the ass but we're getting close and hopefully you'll forgive us once the big update goes out.
