It feels weird advertising the sILV/Eth LP pool that cause I know you guys don't support it (tho I don't have any stake in it either).

Is there a time and place at which the ILV Team may label the sILV LP as "community supported" (in that likely only people who are invested in ILV to some degree would participate and make up the user base)?

you could do that too. It's called being comfortable 🙂 Like having 10 ILV means something like $8k. so when ever gas is around 100 Gwei (like most of the time) you can claim.

No I don't think it will ever be supported as it is not in the nature of sILV to be tradable. We say it cause it's better for ppl to hear it from mods that there is a pool but it is not supported so we can warn ppl that they should trade at their own risk should someone get scammed. We can at least help them not to get scammed

The thing is that the ILV/ETH pool is supported through the Tokenomics of the project, and there's benefits to having a LP for the main token the project (people can reliably buy ILV from a pool with sufficient liquidity)

There's not a tokenomics incentive to establish an official sILV/ETH pool though, and it would be a major change to implement one.

I'm with you guys. Also appreciate how even though it's not supported you don't hesitate to admit it's there and caution users if they choose that route. Think that's the right call for things like this IMO (but then again, what do i know...)

The Uniswap sILV/ETH pool is fine 99% of the time, people should just be cautious if they are making large buys, because low liquidity is a possibility, which would lead to overpaying by a lot.

3. claim when gas = 1% of the value of your total pending rewards in $

After claiming, your ILV rewards will get locked for a year, unless claimed in form of sILV which are released to be used in game/landsale/Illuvarat Auction

Since you are receiving rewards every 15 secs, if you claim first (pay 2 gas), by the time you wanna stake, you will already have tiny rewards again and you'll have to pay for them again and then pay another for your SLP stake. You and up paying lots of more has and one reward claim would be 0.00001 ILV lol

In my personal opinion, I would not advise to stake at 1.2 ilv because the gas fee can be around $60 - $150. and you would need to wait a long period to just cover the gas fee. May be when you have around 4 - 5 ilv that would be a good place to start. just my opinion.

Yes, it will be two transactions. One for the swap to get ILV then another to stake it on the website. If you have rewards to be claimed thats another transaction. Make sure to click staking and not claim then staking. Clicking staking triggers the claiming transaction already.

The reason why it is unlikely that it can be resolved is because the smart contracts are not controlled by a person or a company, they cannot be tampered with once enacted (usually) this is what makes them safe and trustworthy…

Ultimately you should have researched the terms of what you were staking into, best case scenario resolution would be for them to cancel that ILV you claimed and give you an equivalent amount of sILV unlocked but this will not have the same value on the market (has the same value only within land sales and within the game once it come out) (and not sure if this is even possible…)

No there is no solution as by claiming sILV, you already mint a escrowrd ILV and therefore you have taken ILV out if circulation. The tx is irreversible. And claiming ILV will add the ILV ready to be vested and therefore released.

No. You deposited the SLP token. So you will get the SLP token back. You can then take the SLP token to sushi and remove your liquidity and get equal value parts back of eth/ILV.

Actually this makes a lot of sense. Because the reason the ILV pool rewards need claimed when claiming SLP rewards as ILV is that those new ILV tokens will be added to the ILV only pool. When staking new tokens to a pool that you are already staking in you will always need to claim the rewards as part of that staking process.

2. you have to add the token address in your wallet. You can find the address in pinned messages
3. ILV will be compounded to your staked and stay locked for one year with a weight of 2X
4. Every claim will have its own one-year locking period (only if you claim ILV and not sILV) with all being compounded to your Stake

Yep, anything that happens on the Ethereum network will require gas. It's literally the fuel that pays for doing stuff on the network. I saw an analogy before which I liked. The current gas price is like you're $/L in actual gas prices. So 50 gwei is like $1/L of gas. Then the complexity of the transaction is how many miles/kilometers you have to travel. If it's simple, it might be 5km, so that's a short trip, won't cost much gas. But let's say it's more complex, so you're doing a 100km trip, it's gonna cost a lot more.

ILV rewards are locked for 12 months, yes. sILV is immediately available in your wallet. Some are already selling it on secondary markets, but there's no officially supported channel. And it's selling for less than ILV now as it's got no utility with the game not being out. And ILV you can stake for rewards. But those claiming and selling sILV now are recouping some of their investment. That's the logic, I assume. It wouldn't be my choice, but to each their own.

Yes. this is what I am trying to avoid. I only have 0.17 ILV rewards for my ILV pool, but I have 5 ILV rewards for my sushi pool. Fees are around $300 per transaction, so I just have to wait. So I finally got my ethereum to clear so I can sushiswap and get some slp. I put $1500 eth and $1500 ilv and did the liquidity pool to create slp. In my Coinbase account it took out the ETH and all the ILV and it only shows like $0.05 in the sushiswap lp token spot. Is that normal?

Should I just go into illuvium staking and just stale the .70510444?

Looks like it is solved but yeah, that seems right. If you look in the whitepaper for Sushi you can see how they determine the volume of LP tokens. It's based off the first supply of tokens in the pair, which was me back in April after the Balancer sale.

If you have added ETH + ILV in sushi, took the SLP token and are now connected to the ILV website and wanna stake, in core pools you should be able to fix how long you wanna lock it for or if you want to lock it at all. The longer you lock it for, the more weight you get. This is the process.

Since you are invested in SLP, (to claim ILV) always claim your SLP rewards when you have enough that would justify gas. It will ask you to claim both pools and there fore will need 2 transactions. Claiming sILV on the other hand is a single transaction. You can claim whichever pool you want first afaik @brisk surge

Yes you should do both immediately. Since you are getting rewards every 15 secs, if you claim and not withdraw, there will be rewards in pending rewards section again. To actually withdraw, you need to click on withdraw SLP, pay both gas transactions and then it's done. 🙂

Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:

• When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
• You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
• If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
• If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
• New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat

NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuvium’s Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.

I think over the long run you want lots of swings and volume back and forth and then when you leave the pool you eth/ ilv proportionally to be the same as when you entered. You can accept your rewards as ILV which will restake for a year and give you revenue distribution, or you can accept them as instant sILV which gives no revenue distribution and is worth 1 ILV in game

Okay, so I'm starting to panic quite a lot now.

I've tried to withdraw my SLP 3x today I've spent over $700 on fee's trying to withdraw it and it just doesn't come out.

I go to "Vesting" Withdraw - Pay the fee's for taking the rewards out, then I go onto the next fee's to "Unstake the SLP Token" now... I've been waiting like 6 hours so I've sped it up with some more ETH and it still isn't coming out?

I've done this twice. Twice the transaction was "Successful" and the SLP token is still there.. and I cannot remove it?

-Claim in ILV that is then locked for another year
-Claim sILV that I can use for in game stuff
-Claim half ILV/Half ETH

Pending rewards do not earn APY%. The claimed ILV tokens will be locked (earning) for 12 months from the time of the claim. If it's a small stake, the compounding rewards may not justify paying gas frequently.
