Do you have to import sILV manually on uniswap/sushiswap to be able to buy/sell it?
Thanks I was just learning the Illuvium from few source and this will be my next source
Hi everyone !
I have a question : You know how the revenues of the game will be distributed to the stakers, according to the pool ?
Do SPL have a higher percentage than ILV, if yes, do you have those percentages?
Thank's ! š
which stakign gives sILV? I staked and only can see ILV returns
you can claim rewards as ILV or sILV
Itās great for tokenomics (more sILV is less ILV minted) and having a liquid sILV market provides a safety net for some stakers.
#š„©ćstaking message Yup š
Hello everyone! My apologies if this question has been answered previously. When migrating from staking v1 to v2, how does it work with unclaimed rewards? Will they migrate as well or will I have to claim everything before the migration?
Migration should happen as you will always have unclaimed rewards even after the migration. The moment you enter YF, you will be here for four years (haven't added the 2x year for 2x reward weight) minimum as the moment you claim, you get the reward the next year. So when you claim even in 3rd year, you get the reward in forth (again with 2x weight, you might get it two years later imo) So logically it should already move to V2.
Hi the land sale will be only sILV or Eth too?
both
Yeah, that's right! sILV or ETH - you can choose which to spend.
Thanks
can any1 link info i can read on staking v2 and any info on its release date
check pinned comments under #809220563397902346 š
I read staking rewards go through 2024? Does this mean you can only stake new amounts through 2024? Or you will only earn rewards from staking through 2024?
no you can add when ever but then you will have to pay gas to remove currant pending rewardsš
Yield Farm Rewards are limited to three years. RevDis will continue as long as there is revenue and requires staking your tokens as well š
Sorry, still new to a lot of this. So the yield farm rewards is the ~70% APY for the ILV pool and the ~500%+ APY for the SLP pool. Those are only paying out for three years?
!read Yes, and they will continue to drop over time š
Some important sources of information that everyone interested in and/or new to Illuvium should take a careful look at are:

Got it. Thanks for the link, too.
Why is the sushi lp giving away so high apyās? How do they earn money?
For got the term they use but higher risk for loss
its more advance liquidity pool, the reason its so high is there is the risk of impermanent loss, but check pinned comments for a more advance explanation
There it is. Impermanent loss* couldnāt remember
yes on Sushi LP
It auto compounds into the ILV pool.
ok nice
so if i put lp ilv/eth token into staking for a year is there tokens i can receive before that year is up?
i should say if cause i already haphazardly did.lol
shouldn't
you can take silv as rewards which value is pegged to ILV and can be used in-game
After weeks of hesitation and research Iāve finally convinced myself and just staked haha! Feels good to be a part of it š„
you only live once
For Sure!
Iām on a MW 3.0
Cheers mate - Iāve checked all this and no mention of this error or how to resolve it! š¤¦š½āāļø
if we do flexible for ILV stake, are the rewards still locked for 1 year
Yes. The rewards are locked. But the deposit is not.
ok got it
damn is that gas price real lol. Wonder what dropped
yeah I do wonder why the gas fees are a lot higher today in general, must be due to the market crash
Hey guys, can I restake. my pending ILV rewards (from single ILV pool) to SLP?
no
Would you buy land and why?
Gas fees dont even look that high right now š¤Ø
Yes. Scarcity. As much as 5% of in game purchases will be using land ownersā fuel tokens.
yeah they dropped back down this past hour
!gas letās see whatās been guzzling
GAS fees are an important thing to consider when it comes to transactions on the Ethereum Mainnet. Optimal GWEI can be found by checking the Gas tracker bot in the discord member list and by checking historical gas prices here: https://etherscan.io/gastracker#historicaldata
Hereās the NFT drop that the big culprit in the last few hours. https://etherscan.io/address/0x0ee24c748445fb48028a74b0ccb6b46d7d3e3b33
Help please! So about a month ago through Sushi Swap and Meta mask I transacted and got exactly one Illuvium token ($434.00). I then staked and have been watching rewards grow through MetaMask browser since then. Well I log in today to my MetaMask and then go to my browser and it says that I must link my wallet.. however meta mask is not an option. What do I do?
Thanks in advance
Quick question.
I staked some ILV a couple months back and have been checking it out about once a month.
When I checked the rewards today it was the same amount that it was a month ago when I checked.
Is there some kind of limit to your reward amount?
Try using wallet connect option. Works for me
Wallet connect option?
As long as your ILV is still staked it should still be earning rewards.
Did you claim/vest any of the rewards yet? Are you certain itās the same exact amount of pending rewards or was something being rounded?
Because there often is rounding involved in the UI
Thanks, for the reply.
I have not claimed any rewards yet. It may be some rounding but it`s only showing one decimal
Can someone smart figure this out for me
https://etherscan.io/gastracker#historicaldata Shows 40 gwei
https://crypto.com/defi/dashboard/gas-fees Shows 60-80 gwei⦠which is the real price?
Etherscan knows. Crypto.com wants your money.
Ah gotchu, thanks
But youāll notice that 40gwei was only processing for like 1 minute.
hi can i check which stakign gives sILV, because I am only getting iLV staking the core.
When you claim you get to choose to claim in silv or ilv
Hiii guys soo i'm looking to stake and i'm wondering if i've already staked the first time how can i stake the second time?
is it the same process or do i have to redeem the rewards of the 1st stake?
Again, the exact same way as before. Go here: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core choose the pool you want, click on "stake", choose locking period, you then are asked to claim rewards IN THAT TRANSACTION, and then you approve the stake.
Illuvium | Staking
i'm a bit confused sorry
if choose to lock my staking for 52 weeks will i be able to still get my rewards? or until after 52 weeks can i get the reward?
!claim Locking a deposit locks that deposit. It has no effect on claiming rewards:
Rewards from staking have to be manually claimed and GAS fees for those transactions have to be paid:
- When you stake ILV yield farming rewards start piling up for you
- You claim those rewards whenever you deem the pile to be big enough to justify gas fees
- If you claim sILV you have it unlocked right away (sILV is only usable in game as a substitute currency for ETH outside the marketplace and the Leviathan Arena)
- If you claim ILV then that batch of ILV gets locked for 12 months and automatically staked in the ILV pool with a token weight of 2.0 for compounding effect
- New rewards start piling up....rinse and repeat
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuviumās Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
if i'm not mistaken from what i read claiming ILV will go straight back to the staking pool and locked for 12 months then after 12 months i can get the ILV for myself?
Correct. Only sILV can be claimed as immediate payout.
Hey guys I have a doubt on which pool to stake my money. Would you guys recommend staking on the Sushi Liquidity Pool if my budget is under $1000? (I'm fishing for a gas fee of around 40 gwei)
that is only your choice. With 1k, gas fees might kill your budget in the liquidity pool
As Shabim said this is really up to you but the Reward calculators that are pinned in this channel can help to give you a hint of what makes the most sense for you
Approaching 350 ILV from staking rewards. Should be done by the end of the month
š showing off would be saying my average buying price for ILV was $31
Ah i m finally part of the SLV stack as well !
so now that i have stack in both pool. The reward are shared right ? (the amount of ILV reward displayed come from both slp and ilv pool ? )
You will receive rewards for your stakes in both pools, yes. You claim rewards per pool individually though (claiming LP pool rewards requires to claim ILV pool rewards as well though) š
claiming the reward from SLP doesn't claim by default the ILV ones ?
i though i read that on the publish0x blog
You are automatically forced to claim both pools when claiming LP, yes. But it is still two transactions.
k thanks
Good evening! Can I double provide ILV-ETH liquidity in Sushiswap then at the same time stake my SLP in the ILV-ETH staking pool in Illuvium website? I'm wondering if I missed the a step to add liquidity first in Sushiswap so I can also earn their transaction fees.
!lp
Providing liquidity for ILV is done via an ILV/ETH Pool on SushiSwap and requires a few different steps compared to staking only ILV. These steps are the following:
- You acquire a 50/50 ratio of both ILV and ETH (in $)
- You go to: https://app.sushi.com/add/ETH/0x767FE9EDC9E0dF98E07454847909b5E959D7ca0E
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it), you stake your 50/50 ratio of ETH and ILV in the pool
- You receive SLP tokens (To see them, add the SLP contract address to your wallet: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda)
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You can now stake your SLP Tokens in the Sushi LP pool just like ILV is staked in the ILV pool.
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained
Oh I see. You did it the right way. Itās just that now itās not IN your wallet. So sushi doesnāt know you have it. You still get the swap fees. It goes into the sushi lp pool and your SLP tokens are worth more because of the fees in the pool.
You can see it on zapper.fi
Alright thank you! @gloomy gazelle
Hi can someone eli5 the liquidity pools to me? Do staked SLPs entitle one to revdis as well or is that exclusive to staked ILV?
Hm i have paticipated in the xyz flashpool, how Do i get those back?
You go to "Vesting" and withdraw them while claiming your rewards WITHIN that same transaction (NOT separately under Rewards) š
balance is 0, i have ETH and ILV why?
!staking Sounds like you want to stake into the LP pool. For that make sure to check out this information š
When holding ILV, staking is a way to gain additional rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution. The process for staking is the following:
- You acquire either some ILV or some Sushi LP tokens
- You go to: https://staking.illuvium.io/staking/core
- You enter the right pool according to the tokens you acquired
- You decide whether to lock your deposit or not (if locked, you will receive more rewards from yield farming and revenue distribution, but you cannot withdraw your deposit until the chosen locking period is over)
- After approving the contract (if this is your first interaction with it) you confirm the staking of the desired tokens
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s

Is there a possibility for those who locked there Pool in july to extend the locked timeframe before v2?
I assume you mean for those that would unlock after V2? Maybe. But that would likely take a separate IIP. As currently proposed that is not the plan.
Aaron did say if there was enough people that whined enough⦠but for me that basically means gaining community support
Ye, I just locked for 5 month - So mid december but would have done more with those Informations. Otherwise I am unlucky and have to life with 2 years locked rewards š
i did the same for 3/4 of my tokens lol, would honestly be lovely if i could just extend it to 12 months before v2 happens
Where can we got more info about that v2 ? That's suppose to be the immutable right ? What are the other goal of it beside less gas fee ?
The zero gas fee will only be while trading on the illuviDex (the market)
Check out the pinned post in governance. V2 is still on ethereum, but lower fees than current.
thanks i'll check this out
So i have staked the lp token on illuvium, i can see im starting to earn ilv. I lock my tokens for a year. Can i take the rewards out still or do i have to wait til the year is up?
you can claim whenever you want
you will have to pays the gas fee though (so better waiting a bit for it to be worth). Lot of documentation on the blog publish0x
Whenever you claim rewards in the form of ILV, those ILV rewards are locked for 12 months and vested in the ILV pool during that time.
So while you can claim the rewards whenever you want, they cannot be withdrawn until their 12 month vesting period is over.
You can claim when the value is high enough to justify Gas fee. If you choose sILV it is unlocked and usable in-game and for land purchase. If you choose ILV it will be locked 12 months from the time you claim but will gain APY and RevDis
Autostake
So that will be in the slp pool or the ilv pool
ILV Core
No way to add eth and put in the slp pool
Nope.
Automatically vests in the ILV core pool... token weight of 2 though so you get the highest APY of that pool for the 12 months š
No. Once Revdis starts you will have that option with RevDis as it will be unlocked
Revdis stands for game revenue and what is dis
Distribution
So RevDis will show up in separate earnings box to use then?
I assume. You will have to claim it from what we have been told.
Ok. Cool. So last question. To make sure i have things straight. Reward money i should be taking out like once a month maybe so it auto stakes otherwise reward coins just sit there collecting nothing. Is that correct?
Correct. Just watch gas fees and claim when it makes sense. There is a calculator pinned in this channel that will help with that
Awesome. Thank guys for your time. Appreciate the help. Ty
NP. Welcome to awesomeness
This is very cool. I love it!
Hi, everyone. My 3 month lock for staking just finished. Will it be more profitable to stake in the liquidity pool? I'm familiar with it. It's just I'm not sure if it' still profitable
I believe so. Still over 500%
Thanks, man. Just a bit hesistant thinking i'm already late in the party.
It also depends on the amount you wanna stake
Gas fees are significantly higher on LP, so small amounts generally dont make sense.
Staking in LP also diminishes my % of the pool, so if you want to line my pockets more please stake in pure ILV pool
Definitely not late. Still very very early. YF is three years and were only three months in
Hi guys, I am trying to learn how to put the correct inputs into Illuvium calculator. Can someone teach me if I have 1,000 USD to spend on sILV (500 ILV + 500 ETH), how should I key in the information in the left panel?
Convert to figure out how much SLP you would get for your 1k. SLP is 2400 atm so divide your 2400 into 1k
Looks like about .41 SLP
Oh I see, what about other information such as "Staked ILV, ILV Rewards (Unclaimed), etc."? Do I just put all of the information as "0"?
allow for USD200 in gas fee
Sure, so I will assume 1k + 200 (gas fee)
If you are starting from scratch all you need to input is SLP. It will spit out info to help you decide how often to claim
Got it, that's helpful. And on the rewards distribution, do I just read the row with "ILV earned from SLP rewards"?
Sounds right. It will have several claim options like Daily, Weekly, hybrid ect.
Thanks @wind walrus ! This is a great start, I will continue exploring the spreadsheet for the time being
Actually I just tallied up my initial staking, to trade ETH to ILV, approve ILV, Add liquidity, Approve LP, stake LP took me 659k gwei, or at currently prices USD2 per gas price. So at 100gas price (now) that's 200USD excluding any cost to buy the ETH and transfer from CEX to MM. But would be cheaper at lower gas prices obviously
Any information on when staking v2 is going to be released?
Hello, the stacking website is always loading after I connect my wallet metamask, it is normal?
The date is not clear yet, but the team is working on it
If using phone, there might be a bad connection through WalletConnect. If using the website (extension) it should work just fine.
Trying to decide wether to stake now or wait for v2
well If you are planning to get a 2X weight, if you stake now, your rewards will be unlocked after one year. If you stake after V2 implementation, you're rewards will be unlocked after 2 years. But still the decision is up to you ans you should take gas into account now
2 more questions:
Will moving from v1 to v2 cost gas?
Any idea if we're talking days or weeks for v2?
yeah. Any transaction costs gas. I'd say it's a matter of month not week. But that remains to be seen
Thank you! I think I'll be staking asap then šāāļø
be mindful of the gas. It's a bit high now
Yh ofc waiting for optimal situations for each transaction š§
The past couple of weeks, the gas has been low on Saturday afternoons (depending on where you live)
i have a question the TVL in core pool ILV is 336,400,000 $ but if we do this TVL/(price of token) we have 336,400,000/450 = 746 000 token but the circulating supply is 634,934.06 ILV
Much of the ILV pool contains tokens which are in there due to claimed rewards from yield distribution (which are locked for 12 months once claimed) until that 12 month vesting period completes they are not circulating
Hi, has the coin98 wallet been removed from allowable wallets for staking? Can't connect mine suddenly now.
Oh nevermind, it's fixed lol
can someone give me a quick guide on how to stake
A step-by-step walk-through demonstrating how to acquire and stake the Illuvium token.

thanks
And I think as you said before. For now nothing will be possible for the people who already stack one year to switch on V2 and increase to 2 years ?
Hey is there anywhere I can read more about staking v2? Thanks
There's a thread specific to the staking v2 proposal under #809220563397902346
No as long as you stake now and lock for 2x weight, it'll be unlocked after one year. It all changes with V2
Hello, what is the best price of gas to pay ? A amount that is seen often and less are more rare thx i hope u understand my english.. ^^
40-50 gwei has been a good area to shoot for.
Well you see sub 40-30 you'd better throw everything you got at it.....quite literally lol š
Hey guys. Where can I find any information about v2 staking?
check the pinned messages in #809220563397902346
Thank you
On the website it says that locked ILV compounds rewards while vesting. What specifically does that mean?
When you claim rewards, they are locked for 12 months "vesting." During that time, they are in the ILV-only staking pool, earning additional APY. Unclaimed rewards do not automatically compound your earnings.
Does vesting ilv earn a share in revdis?
what ever ILV you stake and whatever rewards you claim in form of ILV will receive RevDis
What is the simplest way to calculate my share in revdis?
RevDis is still speculation as neither the game nor the market place is operational yet
Anyone else notice that $1,000,000 of ILV that was just removed from the ILV pool and is now slowly being swapped for ETH (since it has dropped significantly) via the pool? Whale on the move...

ILV didn't drop as hard as ETH so I guess it makes sense, no?
He's probably exiting or planning to buy back lower.
Yep - someone just playing the percentages... which def makes sense when you're flexing that large of a wallet.
They'll be back in a bit, after ETH pops back, with 1.2M to spend on ILV
Sure why not. The biggest ILV sell was 20k ILV that dropped the price from 130 to 80 before skyrocketing to 300. These selling are not scary and def opportunity.
Yeah its sinking btc and many alts with it
Guys let's keep the price analysis in #š°ćtoken
And sky rocketing Gas. yike! 551 for fast!
Damn thats a good strat i just bought some eth
Once it comes back up will be putting it into ILV or participating in land sale
just want some advice, i only have 100 dollars worth of eth right now, is that enough for me to stake or i need more because of the gas feeS?
You need more to spend on gas rn. It's too high for $100
š« damn, i should have found this game earlier oh well.
do you guys have any advice for minimum amount to invest in?
There is no minimum and it all depends on your buying power and if it justifies paying the gas for
The ILV/ETH ratio appears to be rock steady?
ayt thanks, yup, ill just save more and enter when i can
Ilv is down 7% on the week and eth down 19%
checkout the cost of staking in the different pools (can be found in the link) and whatever the transaction costs of the type you want to stake in id recommend staking at least 10 times that many $'s to make it worth it (10% of your total investment then goes just to transaction fees) (the more you invest the more worth it it is) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-yorrLEO7051B8ELI7eBtAOohYn8DME4peMPavxcUuw/edit#gid=0
oh nice! thanks, i'll make sure to check thisout
ILV is down 17% from the 14th. $495 - $406
ILV/ETH ratio is not really moving.
Hmm my bad then, in any case buying the dip
Hello everyone, what's the difference between staking v1 and v2 and is there any advantage to waiting for v2? I tried looking at governance pins but I'm not sure where to look exactly
wondering this too
Wow ..
Is it better to wait for staking v2 for my next investment?
Iām thinking of leaving money in ILV (not staking it) in case it jumps back to 600+ for trailer release .. how do I convert the ILV back to ETH if I make a bit of profit and want to spend that on land for the land sale?

Swap ILV for ETH on app.Sushi.com - just the reverse of the way you purchased it.
Iāve been using gate.io so itās the same process as when I deposited the money from coinbase but using MetaMask address to send
I may have a few questions about that document but itās late, Iāll see if thereās anyone available tomorrow to answer them.. itās all new to me some bit need dumbing down lol
When will staking v2 be live?
Is metamask secure as long as it is not connected to any dangerous site?
This is pretty nice - Even if ILV drops 75% to $100 I can recover most of my initial investment because of SLP + ILV staking rewards...
How long is my LP stake locked if i pick the flexible staking ?
Flexible staking is not locked at all...
Ohhh really
You could withdraw your Flexible staked ILV or SLP immediately - you would just have to pay the gas fee again.
The ILV that you get as a reward for your stake IS however locked for 1 year from the point that you claim it - but is weighted at 2x for that year.
called flexible for a reason
You put value of eth is fixed at 4K which might or might not happen if ilv drop 75% eth might drop 50% too
That's true, I was more looking at the scenario of just the project doing poorly/okay and eth staying mostly flat. ILV makes up most of the value from the staking anyhow once we reach the end of year. If I adjusted ETH to $1000 it's still around 60% of original investment
the double cost of claiming is annoying š¦ an atomic contract doing claim on both pools would have been nice
Major improvements on that coming with Staking V2.0
Reposting to here: Is there a way to re-stake rewards without paying gas fee's? Currently have a few ILV chillin and they are sad they are not with friends.
By this I mean I'm in the liquidity Pool and would prefer to automatically Stake the ILV gains instead of paying gas fees
Thoughts?
You cant.
@Rahlord looking forward to your message about 2.0
Hello, so the token in binance can be use for stake?
should be like buying through uniswap/sushiswap
Will the Binance listing impact the liquidity pairing with ETH in SLP?
No
So there will be a new liquidity pool with binance?
This isnt a LP on the BSC network. Its the binance CEX offering ILV token.
But they need the liquidity to sell?
Hence we will see IL in the Sushi LP?
They can get it from the existing LP
yes we are seeing it right now
I can see the ratio is up to 0.19. How to calculate the IL? Thanks
But I am seeing the Sushi LP price going up. Confusedā¦
The number of ILV tokens you have in that SLP is decreasing
Ok thanks. Anyway I cannot do anything for next 360 days š . Just continue collecting my rewards then
Is it possible to make more Sushi LP tokens with the rewards from original stakes LP tokens if I have eth? Or can rewards only be used for single side staking?
Thanks!
hey guys if i claim my rewards i still cant get it after a 12 month vesting period so should i just wait until the 1 year is done then claim everything ?
Donāt stress about the IL, ETH will kick again after this evergrande fiasco is over
Great to see SLP APY back over 600% š„
The 12 month vesting period only begins once you claim the rewards
Why is the apy higher, can you explain please?
oh so its another 12 months from the 12 months that i staked?
Itās 12 months from whenever you claim rewards
apy is superficially higher due to the price of ilv increasing, we arent actually geting much more ilv tokens per day
You may claim rewards on multiple occasions throughout the time you are staking. Every time you claim, those rewards will be available 12 months later
Not sure what you mean?
The APY is higher yes due to ILV price increasing but it doesnt mean we are getting more ILV tokens a day im pretty sure
The APY is calculated at the time. It doesnāt matter what the token value is. If itās worth $100 per token and you make 600% in the year, you will receive 6 additional tokens. If the token is worth $1000 per token and you make 600% in the year, you will still receive an additional 6 tokens
It actually means we're getting fewer. If staking goes up, rewards go down. I stand by my previous statements - APY is dumb. What matters is ILV earned. Those will likely drop tonight.
wont the price just go down tho since when trading is open in binance people would just sell instantly after prices go up
Thatās actually not how it works. The APY is calculated based on the dollar value of SLP token vs the dollar value of the ILV rewards.
If ILV price goes up, so does the APY. For the regular ILV pool, price doesn't matter. For the SLP, it matters a lot.
What's the rate of ILV payout per SLP at the moment?
What is v2 staking everyone talking bout?
Binance listing ILV means that I can steak directly from Binance instead of using Metamask? Or Metamask wallet is still needed for the process?
Whats V2 stacking?
Bruh you made a picture!!! I love it.
Daily ILV per SLP was 0.03889 as of this morning (at 1x weight). I track it here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pm6b54YRTjdv6cDmWwudyejk2aA8XSEB5CgzKWe1N20/edit?usp=sharing
Part of my blog post on it. Hopefully some youtube videos coming on this stuff, but those take me longer than writing. https://www.publish0x.com/ilvfi/apy-is-dumb-what-really-matters-in-staking-with-illuvium-xrnxpmz
proposal pinned in governance - planned to reduce gas fees.
Are we able to stake on Binance? Or is it Ethereum main net only?
Why I agree. APY will keep going down, but IDC, because the price of ILV will go up A Lot in the next few years, so that 500% might become 200% later, but if it 10x basicly its 2000% amiright?
Just wondering, for flexible staking in ILV, is it immediate? or do you have to wait a few days to unstake and then u can sell back? coz some other tokens require a few days to unstake.
Whats the different between v1 vs. v2 stacking?!
Momentary price bumps like this get people all excited, and that has nothing to do with long term value. Yes, I agree - I want the price to be $5000 later, when the project justifies it. That would be awesome. For now, I want more ILV. APY hides the fact that rewards generally decrease.
Just watch out for flexible. If you're not doing very large amounts, the fees will eat you and you wont be able to withdraw reward anyways. Id rather say go long time
what Bernard said, you can unstake immediately, but you won't get any rewards and a huge gas bill
Yes but we all know that, but I agree they should maybe state that. But its the name of the game. Get in before it decrease more
Hi! Is it possible to stake more ILV without unstaking? And If I were to unstake do I lose my rewards? I did 1 year locked staking. Thanks
Time in the market beats timing the market, particularly with this staking rewards structure
Before an announcement like this, does binance need to buy a huge bag of ILV to have a reserve to handle trade volume? Hmm wrong channel
Good question
Whats the different between v1 vs. v2 stacking?!
you can create a second stake. it will claim your current available rewards, but you can create a completely different stake with a different lock up period
yeah, not worried about that, coz im staked in fixed anyhow. Just helping a friend check. Because when u stake something like ADA it takes 1 day to claim, or matic which takes 4 days to claim etc. So if youre staking flexible in ILV or the ILV/ETH pool, does it mean its completely immediate or is it like some other coins which require a day or two to claim.
Limited details yet - essentially just they simplified the contract so transaction fees should be lower. Some other planned benefits. There is a pinned description from Aaron in the #809220563397902346 channel
I don't know, but I wouldn't do it anyways if it's 1 minute or 1 day.
This staking is kind of different from that staking right? From my understanding, for those you're actually setting aside tokens to secure and validate the network
Hi folks, appreciate an answer to this question :) thanks
Stacking reward wise. the 12 months vesting starts when I claim rewards?
correct - when claimed available rewards begin vesting, are moved to the ILV pool at 2x weight, and are locked for 12 months.
Yes.
What does 2x weight means? 2 times the apy?
Yes but again you will probably only get around 1x apy because apy gives false percentage as more people stake it gets less
the apy reflects the weighting. the base APY in the ILV pool is 34.5% right now. If you lock for 52 weeks, you earn at 69% (right now)
so i have 0.85 ILV reward from staking. should i pull it out and restake it? im not sure what this part means
Same question!!
Any rewards are not earning additional interest while pending. Once you claim ILV, it is locked in the ILV-only pool for 12 months from the point of the claim earning additional interest.
guys how do i withdraw my XYZ?
ahh okay so claim as soon as gas fees make sense so i can keep earning fees on my rewards. gotcha thanks
lowest gas i have seen is 30$ so far, anyone see less?
That's pretty good these days
sold. ima do it rn haha
Just make sure the interest you earn is worth the gas.
i have .85 ILV, yall think its worth?
how much is the additional interest actually
Not financial advice, but I dont claim less than about 10. As of today, you earn about 0.00188 ILV per day per ILV, and it generally decreases daily. Up to you what you think that will be worth over time
ahh good call. thanks, yeah the 30$ fee is too crazy
yall staking ILV/ETH sushi pool? considering it, but im always scared of arbitrage losses between the coins
Yes, I'm in the SLP. Rewards make it worth it to me for now, though IL got a lot worse tonight with ILV and ETH moving in opposite directions
Thanks for your calculators and posts, super helpful. Have you thought about adding another tab about token unlocks and being able to configuring how much we think will be sold in open market as an additional way to estimate token price?
Before you can stake, you first have to claim your existing rewards in this pool. Because we compound your rewards into the ILV pool, if you select ILV, the rewards in that pool will first be claimed before claiming rewards from other pools. You will be asked to confirm these in your wallet.... anyone understand this?
the rewards are paid in ILV on the website AND sushi trading fee pool gains? kinda confused on that part
I believe the trading fee pool gains just goes back into the SLP price
ah to keep it stable?
Thanks, I do have another sheet shared where I'm tracking token unlock and claiming. Not sure how to relate that to price, as tonight shows, fundamentals dont really drive price yet
i wish i bought earlier today haha, didnt realize binance was gonna list D;
No one knows except insider info lmao
If you already have staked tokens and are staking more, the first transaction you get will claim your current rewards.
shoulda went with my gut instinct haha
Hopefully listing goes smooth tho
Market is bleeding harddd
was watching that 410$ price and considered it š
This is news probably a net negative for existing stakers IMO since rewards will probably go down due to pool growth. Would be interested in seeing how the pool volumes change the next few days
wait you can stake and claim rewards on the same transaction? š®
Gotcha.
Currently, any interactions with the staking contract will force you to claim pending rewards first. You will pay gas for each tho.
Kind of sucks. But cool. Thanks
gotcha tanks
WTF HAPPENED TO ILV PRICE? EDIT: Oh binance
This price flip should have in theory made APY go up quite a bit. What is SLP at?
Back over 600% last I checked. All because of ILV price, not rewards increase
Holy shit, so it's true. It was barely above 500% before.
nice to wake up to š
I am 100% staking this weekend.
APY in the SLP is directly related to price. The reward ILV is decreasing, they are just worth more now. Presuming more people react the seeing higher APY, It will actually be getting worse to stake in terms of daily reward ILV.
The ILV reward isnt decreasing since its pegged to the SLP price. Since ETH is downing but ILV is going up, the relative SLP price also goes up but not as much (hence the big APY)
You're correct. However, the more people that enter the SLP, the fewer rewards each receive. This is why APY trends down when prices are flat. If staking spikes, rewards drop
Yes. The recent increase in APY is due to the ILV price increasing faster than the SLP price but the total staked remaining fairly constant.
See the daily rewards graph here. This tracks actual reward ilv ignoring apy. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pm6b54YRTjdv6cDmWwudyejk2aA8XSEB5CgzKWe1N20/edit?usp=drivesdk
SLP value staked did not pump as fast as the value of the ILV rewards did.
Yeah I saved that for later.
I live to be the cat taking down toddlers. That is my spirit animal.
Nice tool, will be referring back to it later too. One comment though; the graphs would have some viewer bias when comparing pool rewards that way given the ratio differences in axes. Minor comment though xD
Yeah, I hear you. Just trying to keep them both on the same chart for general trend. Shows how ILV pool is more impacted by claimed ILV. SLP was calm for a week or so (until now). Order of magnitude difference in rewards between the pools
Binance listing is good but sad. No liquid capital rn and was planning on staking more but think im gonna hold off for now haha
is there any good reason to be claiming in sILV rn? i thought not since the game isnt out yet
Same. Was planning a buy/stake next week. Now I need to be more strategic. Volatility incoming.
incoming land sales. Avoids 12 month vest
oooooo big. thanks
will we buy land with ilv?
yea 100%. Gonna be a shakey few weeks i think. Stock up on capital and, if worse comes to worse and we see sub 400, gonna go crazy
Some folks are claiming sILV to swap to get liquidity now (mostly whales). There are unofficial pools out there, with sILV trading at a significant discount to face value
oh you can trade sILV rn š®
You can use sILV/eth as far as im aware.
Main currency is ETH. sILV is a substitute for ETH. ILV cannot be used to buy land
https://nomics.com/exchanges/uniswapv2-uniswap-v2/markets/0x13cf86f52d4a3000ca7349ce5cf107c248dfea81 check uniswap
oh damn yeah it is at a major discount tho haha
will not be doing that
should I stake my ILV now or wait?
why not stake now? xD better than sitting in your wallet
Its worth it if you want to buy lands for cheaper. But cant stake. sILV is used for land sale and since sILV:ILV is 1:1, you basically get 1 ILV for 300 USD.
not sure what you mean by that
cheaper?
idk if better pools will come and 12 month lock is a long time
id think that people would claim sILV to buy land only if they dont have extra ETH laying around to purchase
Like sinister said, youre losing nothing from staking (besides locking your ilv for 1 wk+)
i got that 1 year lock on haha
you mean 1 year
you can do flex stake for less gains
No. you can choose to stake 1 wk - 1yr. 1 week unlocks your investment faster but lower weighting (aka APY)
i dont think there will be another ILV stake, unless you are talking about going on other websites
Another ILV stake?
responding to his "better pools" comment
like binance might provide a better staking pool?
very highly doubt that since the ILV site staking pool is coming from their treasury. Would be surprised if they supplied more tokens to binance for users to go away from ILV's site
No way will there be better pools.
heavy arbitrage happening rn on binance hahaa lets see where the price settles
whats that mean? im novice xD
Buy low sell high. From exchange to exchange.
low binance volume since new listing; high volatility on price trying to figure out what is fair and using the premium prices on other exchanges to profit
ah so price is volitile rn cause whales
it wont be too crazy right? since its been trading on sushi and 1inch for so long already?
Never know. Only 634k circulating, and most of that is locked up.
Is it selling at a discount or premium at binance?
already listed?
14 mins at that is the volume compared to other exchanges with alot more time
binance is a big market
premimum but they more or less are aligned now
let's the market design the price
š
by "premium" yall are comparing to Sushi and 1inch?
more ways to buy ilv now
i thought 24hrs? its already trading in binance now
you can trade but can't withdraw?
i think trading started 20 mins ago
as i understand from the announcement you can withdraw from binance tomorrow
yeah in 24 hours from now then
no they started on time
Hi. is there anyone competent who can help me with my staking? please PM me
Just ask here xD
Careful asking for DMs if there's sensitive info - there's 130k people in this discord.
General staking questions can be asked here, there's some smart people who can help š
Yeah public help is safest. Or dm someone trusted
i made 3 transactions which i paid but everytime it failed. error message on etherscan is (Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]) . But i set gas limit 55K, priority 2 and 74 GWEI. my balance was ok for that...
Hi
I wouldn't adjust gas limit from the default at all. Out of gas means your gas limit was too low, so the transaction didn't get to finish before you ran out of gas.
but it cost me money 3 times. is it ok? š¦
If your transactions on the ETH network fail because they run out of gas, you unfortunately lose that ETH.
It's not good to change your gas limit to too low!
hold up, the staking apy can go back up?
ok...but now i left about 15$ at ETH is it possible to make transaction or i have to add some
Hi there, am trying to claim my ILV rewards in the rewards tab from staking the SUSHI ILV/ETH LP, it keeps showing up as a transaction error on my metamask though. Am I doing anything wrong? No ETH was deducted from the wallet for the transaction. Just seems odd it keeps showing up as an error, same thing happens regardless if I try to claim rewards in the rewards tab or click on withdraw LP in the vesting tab
Amazing ILV seems not to be bothered by the down trend in the market š
Ok all good, have figured it out! Thanks
Well it did get listed on binance an hour ago
Gonna need to add some more for the gas
i've watched so many videos and i cannot find an answer. i have ilv and i have eth. how do i stake them in the liquidity pool? i go into that pool on the staking site and it says i have. abalance of 0 but i have over 5 ilv and 1.2 eth in my wallet ready to go
Trade your ILV and ETH for Liquidity Tokens on Sushiswap, then take those SLP to the staking website.
REALLY? I did not even know š Thanks for the update
Hey guys does the ilv in binance mean we send from binance directly to metamask then direct to the site and we dont need to go through sushi unless we need to stake liquidated version
Yup
same situation here š
ok i think i got it lol. thanks for being there for me as i kinda freaked out...
what is avarage fee ($)for staking?
Depends on what pool you want to stake in and gas prices at that time.
dunno. for example ILV core pool with gwei 40-60?
ILV core you just need to pay for:
- Eth transfer to metamask
- Sushi swap ILV
- Place into pool
So probs 100-150
Hi, last time I claimed my rewards from LP it was just one transaction on metamask. Now it it's two transactions. Has anything changed?
Probably you didn't have ILV rewards in ILV pool then. Now you had rewards in both pools so you claimed both with 2 TXs
same problem here - from website (extension)
The MM extension should work fine. I'm using it everyday. It connects to MM without any issues afaik
Hi guys, can somebody help a staking noob out with some staking ILV questions?
What seems to be the officer, problem?
hahaha thanks Fraggy
yeah that figures, thanks!
So I staked my ILV in the ILV pool and sushi pool
Now I want to stake more ILV into my sushi pool, but it tells me to get my rewards out. How does it work?
Hello, im looking to stake on sushi LP but im completely new to the cryptoworld and im wondering how do i calculate how much ETH do i need to have in orden to stake like .15 ETH and .85ILV
It will calculate it for you on the sushi page
where can i find information about staking v2 of ilv?
The upcoming changes to staking that the DAO plans to implement
Do we get revdis from the ILV in the SLP pool as well as the straight ILV pool?
Hi Arash, apologies I probably didn't explain it clearly. MM extension is working fine. The issue seems to be on the Illuvium staking website. When I try to connect a wallet I can see the overlay with the 8 wallet options available. They all work fine except for MM and Trust: their logo is not loaded and it keeps spinning. If I click on one of those two buttons nothing happens. All other wallets look fine.
Hm. So on the extension, MM button doesn't work in Staking website? I'll try it in 10 minutes and let you know.
thanks
hi!! sorry noob question here - am i able to stake my ilv on binance?
Just checked Chrome-MM extension, It works just fine
I bought yesterday 1800$ of ilv during the bloodbath and 2000$ of eth today morning I rushed until gas is still cheap to stake and I saw how I need to buy more eth :) finally binance
I don't think so and it won't make sense if you could. If you stake in ILV website you get a lot more rewards and also Revenue once it starts flowing in.
If you are staking more than 2k$ don't do that you will earn way less at least if you plan to stake long term
Ilv/eth pool is 50% per month right now if you lock for a year that's insane
I'm in both pools probably 40% in ilv single and rest in ilv/eth so I don't really care if ilv moon from here and eth stay the same
got this! thanks guys
is transferring ILV from binance to metamask any different from transferring ETH? new to all this, sorry haha
I put 4k into the SLP staking pool yesterday and woke up to ILV listed on binance, ggs š
Nah you just send it to the right address and you can start staking. Watch out for the gas
thanks guys!
Welcome to our family!
Are you using updated Ledger or have you updated your browser or phone app? Also have you checked the gas?
If you are using Ledger, check that you allow Contract Data in ledger setting
yeah checked that its wierd just started happening
If you've done all the things above (gas, raised limit, Contract Data on Ledger, updates) it should work
yeah very strange happening in brave and chrome with metamask and ledger
will ilv have ledger direct connection
Nothing has been confirmed with Ledger. Apparently ILV needs more volume for Ledger to list it. But, everything should work if everything is updated and you use the extension
hmmm never mind its not just ilv and other dapps to
If you still had problems maybe @hexed bough can help you.
just via metamask
If you stake under V1, but claim rewards under the coming V2, will this be locked for 12 or 24 months? Thank you
okay thanks guys , i sorted it out. Ledger live wasn't showing there was an update for my ledger, had to reinstall ledger live to get it show the firmware update, werid
Interesting. I was using Brave and it didn't work. I switched to Chrome and the problem doesn't appear. the issue seems to be on Brave only...
works on brave here
Hey guys, just wanted to ask. I've currently got all my ILV staked in the ILV pool as I'm not too sure i understand how the Sushi LP pool works. I was curious if anyone has suffered from impermanent loss? and if I'm just too worried about something that isn't really a big deal.
I want to get involved in the LP but am cautious because I don't really understand fully as of yet.
I'm sure over the next year or so anyone in LP will have IL. We expect the ILV token to outpace ETH. I have all my funds in SLP and believe the IL will be minuscule compared to the rewards earned.
Guys. I am too idiot to understand staking. I bought ILV on Binance. Am I already staking or should I send it somewhere else?
Iāve already earned back what Iāve staked in slp lol
No you need to move it to the ETH chain in a Metamask wallet. Then stake on the illuvium website
I'm a little over halfway there in only 33 days
I have a metamask wallet on my phone. So basically I withdraw it from binance to my wallet and then upload to the illuvium website, right?
Nice! Wish I put it all in slp but owell, did 1/3 in slp , 2/3 in ilv
And which website is this?
And connect ur wallet to illuvium website š
Thank you all. I see if I can do that without screw up.
There is no option for metamask wallet on illuvium staking site. Only 7 wallets there.
Glad it is fixed. Chrome has always been ok.
if using Mobile, you have to choose Wallet Connect. If using Chrome Extension, It should be a separate option
Any plans to make binance an option to connect your wallet?
by this do you mean like the Binance chain wallet?
Erm - I may be asking an idiot question I suppose, out of ignorance, but what Im asking is will I in the near future be able to connect to the ilv website from binance in order to stake, or must I use one of the wallets currently listed on the staking site?
Well if Binance wallet is compatible with ERC-20 transactions and can be used like CB wallet, Then it might be a probability. Other than that, as Binance is CEX and MM is a DeFi wallet, many would rather use MM
yea i would say for sure use MM right now and if you are going to stake and locked staking maybe you should get into it now before Staking V2 comes but that just my opinion
š Thanks
all good friend if you have anything else you want to ask or any other question dont be afraid to ask I or others will always be wiling to help
Do you still get revdis staking SLP?
If I donāt get the land I want of IZ I plan on staking a good majority of what I have in SLP and using the rest for overworld purchases
You do get revdis for staked SLP. But only the ilv value
@elder dawn This is excellent content as usual! @steady trellis too--this calculator is amazing. Thanks very much!!
šš»
Btw stop piling up silv, I canāt catchup on you anymore ! @sinful pond
Haha--I actually haven't added any more sILV since I acquired a bunch on the secondary market earlier on. I'm sure I have more than I need to play the land game but oh well! I was in the top 10 holders for a while but I've dropped to 18th now---people are claiming quite a lot of sILV these days...
4000 claimed in the last 8/9h š
Don't encourage them. We need some too š
Which means 4000 sILV or 4000 ppl? š
Silv
yeah. 4000 less ILV in the market. everyday four digits gets closer and closer
Someone claimed more than 2000 silv in 1 trx
true, even before the pool I knew many who were waiting to claim thousands of sILV. So, It would be interesting to see if we end up with 7m tokens after all
How do you track sILV top holders?
Escrowed Illuvium (sILV) Token Tracker on Etherscan shows the price of the Token $0.00, total supply 23,332.455668686707190484, number of holders 1,897 and updated information of the token. The token tracker page also shows the analytics and historical data.
Hi, what is the minimum amount for staking?
No minimum, just make sure the amount your staking justifies the gas fees
There is no minimum as long as it justifies paying gas for. What he said š
about the gas fees, if I'm not in a rush, can I always choose the slowest option?
SLow Gas might take days to go through and if gas drops again or goes up it might not go through at all. Paying a few more bucks is always worth it. (from personal exp)
I see. If it doesn't go through, is it lost?
Not clear, but be prepared for the worst if it does.
got it
thank you
is there a calculator where I can check the amount I can stake to be profitable taking into account the gas fees?
You can check the pinned messages.
Where is sILV traded?
It is unofficial and created by a random person (so watch out), but you can find it in Uniswap or sushi. Sushi is out of liquidity afaik.
There's an ETH-sILV swap on Uniswap. Not very much liquidity so if you trade there you will affect the sILV price a decent bit--but it currently trades at a hefty discount to ILV
Hard to know how much anyone has in the staking contract though. Etherscan holders only shows whatās actually in peopleās wallets.
This is for sILV---it can only sit in wallets š You can't stake sILV. There is a bunch in the Uniswap contract (2nd on the holders list) so that isn't as traceable to a single wallet owner, but the rest really does represent what folks are holding in sILV. What is not shown though is how much unclaimed ILV is out there that folks plan on claiming as sILV
In rewards ready to be claimed though we donāt know what can it be
I think we all are excited about the ILV price but should we be concerned about impermanent loss if we have staked in the SLP pool?
The APY I've gotten staking SLP over the past month means my initial investment could be lost forever and I'm still way ahead.
If I leave rewards that have finished their vesting period alone, will they automatically stay staked or must I take any action when that time comes?
Any stakes/vesting rewards will keep earning at their given token weight until you pull them out.
Wonderful, appreciate it. I'm not touching a darn thing then haha.
This thing is interesting⦠https://dune.xyz/queries/109153/221218
Currently Just under 6000 ilv distributed per day, It looks like. I mean we could count up the ilv (not in the treasury) and count up the sILV and get a pretty decent account of how many pending rewards there are.
Or just ask the resident nerd. I added it to my sheet that you pinned. Its 106k
Is 0.2 ILVs small? I only have that one staked for like 200 days lol
I'm angling hard to be the Illuvium "red shirt guy" before launch. š
Lol I see you @swift spindle
rip š
Ok yeah thatās a lot it sILV. And it will add up more the closer we get to the land sale.
another huge bump today - 4k claimed today, not counted on my sheet yet since I lag a day. almost 20% of all claimed sILV happened in the last couple hours
Yeah I saw that on xastorās dune app.
Well not really huh.
That was updated 5 hours ago I think.
volume on everything ramped up since the Binance announcement
I assume that my LP position is secretly accumulating SLP behind the scenes if though itās staked for a year. Is that true and is there any way to see how much SLP is there now?
Your SLP token count will stay the same, but the price of the token will increase to account for the fees accrued.
Ah. Right. I was confusing myself with something else. But that cleared it up. Thanks.
why does it say on the staking, please enter an amount and the max button doesn't work when trying to do so?
you most likely need to delete a few trailing decimals
For the sushi liquidity pool stakers is addition of another CEX a negative event?
so i have ILV in my metamask
but it wont let me stake in the Sushi LP
i enter the amount i want to put in and it glitches and says "please enter an amount" which i did..
because you need the SLP tokens for the sushi LP pool which are acquired by providing ILV/ETH liquidity on sushiswap
If you never provided LP before though, make sure to understand IL: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained

wow.. what a waste of fee;s i just did then
what if i wanna stake on just the regular 68% one, do i need both eth and SLV?
the ILV pool is staking just ILV
Potentially, having a USD/ILV pair will probably make impermenant loss worse.
Do you have a plan to use arbitrum?
Why did the APY for the SLP pool jump back up to 600%? Donāt get me wrong, Iām not complaining, I just didnāt think it was going to go back up
If I provide liquidity in the Sushi LP, and the price of eth increases relative to the price of eth, xand then I withraw my liquidity, will I get more ilv back then I provided?
Maybe some people left it
because the token price went up relative to ETH. So because ILV is worth more, your rewards are worth more.
Got it thanks
the amount of ILV you receive is still decreasing every 2 weeks and based on how many people are in the pool.
what happens if eth goes way back up how does that affect the return of SLP?
The return in ILV is unaffected. The APY would go down because of how it is calculated.
how is it calculated
APY is incredibly deceptive for the SLP. What actually matters is "how many ILV rewards do I get per day?" APY is a way of measuring that, but it doesn't really show what's happening. The top pinned tab is my sheet that tracks real rewards, ignoring prices. My article here discusses how the calculations work. https://www.publish0x.com/ilvfi/apy-is-dumb-what-really-matters-in-staking-with-illuvium-xrnxpmz
Deraji's article above has all you need to know and more.
okay sweet thanks
are we "guaranteed" the APY that we lock in for 1 year tho? aslong as things run smoothly for that year +?
No, rewards drop over time and as more people join the pool. Locking only guarantees token weight.
no, that's why APY is a poor term for the return. it adjusts constantly, and is based on number of people in the pool, the decreasing rewards every 2 weeks, and for the SLP, the prices of ETH and ILV.
@next ruin@elder dawn oh.. was under the impression that when they say " locked" in for a year, means that your locked in for that % at that time...
nope - locked just means you can't withdraw your principal, and in return, they are offering the ability to earn rewards at a higher (but still variable) rate.
Which is still awesome, just not totally INSANE lol @zenith whale
agreed - I love that I'll be saying "darn, after three months, I'm ONLY making 250% on my investment" (total random number - i didn't look up my projection)
Binance holders are already in 4th positionš³ 17,000+ Ilv held already, damn that was quick https://etherscan.io/token/0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e#balances

Oooh sorry my bad wrong place then hahaš
soo i added liq to sushi. but my metamask isnt showing the SLP... but im the status on etherscan says Success
Hey Nike-- make sure you have added the SLP contract address to your MetaMask as well
The SLP token address will be the 2nd one below š

So around $1600 for 0.6 right now?
damn... so im about to go stake on illiuvium website with the slp now they asking for more FEE'S
Yep, might want to wait for gas to calm down a bit.
134$ just to stake.. now since i max the contribution i need to send MORE eth with more fees just to paay more fee's
Ah, yeah-- On the Ethereum network, any contract interaction such as staking, claiming, buying, etc will have a gas fee associated with it.
Yeah like Saber was saying, you can wait for gas fees to come down a bit. They are a little high at the moment
coin cap showing 136 gwei...
Yeah, I personally try not to do anything on the network over like 50-ish if I don't absolutely need to.
wait till tonight
How much ILV i need to stake?
so annoyed about the price of ilv going up that to the 500s cuz yest i was gonnna buy on the dip at 420's but i couldnt get my eth out my dex cuz i changed the my password . and needs 24 hours to be able to withdraw anything
all these dam fee's would have been "covereved" if i bought yest as planned -.-"
you can stake any amount - the transaction fees will act as a floor of sorts, however
Ohh, i see. How much would be worth it? at least 0.6?
depends on your timeframe and what you believe the future value of ILV will be
if you're going to forever stake 0.6 ILV? maybe it's worth it to you to stake now even at high gas
personally i would wait until much lower gas to stake 0.6 ILV, 30s for sure.
!gas
GAS fees are an important thing to consider when it comes to transactions on the Ethereum Mainnet. Optimal GWEI can be found by checking the Gas tracker bot in the discord member list and by checking historical gas prices here: https://etherscan.io/gastracker#historicaldata
that's the good and bad thing about yield farming and staking length, it's really all up to your personal risk tolerance
no easy answer š¦
Sorry if this has been answered recently: can we claim stake rewards on MetaMask mobile? I know people were having trouble with it.
Iāve done it before. But not for awhile. If you are claiming from the ILV only pool it would have the best chance of being fine. SLP pool claims not as much.
Thanks for that. Yeah I was looking for SLP claims on mobile š
With gas this high Iād wait till the weekend anyways.
Yeah thatās probably gonna throw the mobile app off. Too many transactions in a row.
You can use the same wallet in a browser extension. Just gotta ārecoverā it.
I see. i only play cryptogames on bnb chain, so gas fee is pretty cheap on bnb. Thanks!

No problem doing it on the browser, I just wanted a quicker trigger pull if I saw cheap gas lol
Did I read some where you don't get your $ILV rewards for 1 year from the time you hit the claim button (vesting period). From SLP Pool
And after that year they getting dripped out to you?
Thanks.
When you claim, It'll be locked for a year. Then if you want, you can withdraw it (pay gas) to receive it in your wallet after unlocking.
I think you will miss out on the compounding effect then correct?
I have a question...if i lock my ilv for 12 month's...then..when i claim i have to wait another 12 month's?
No, actually! So when you finish the claim transaction, the ILV rewards that are locked for 12 months are automatically vested in the ILV Core pool, so you they will be earning the APY of that pool for the 12 months (and beyond, if you choose to leave them there after they unlock)
The ILV that you stake at the start and lock for 12 months can then be withdrawn after the 12 months is up.
All along the way, any time you claim ILV rewards, those rewards are all vested and locked for 12 months starting on the day you claim them.
ohhh nice i understand now...but u can claim your rewards anytime?
Correct!
Just be sure to claim when it makes sense to you, considering the gas fees you have to pay for each claim
Yep, you can claim pending rewards anytime. Just make sure it makes sense to pay the gas on it.
ok i only staked 1 ilv so probably im going to leave it at least 6 month's.
there is some place where we can buy silv? i cant find even the price...
U can try Uniswap. you have add the token address manually
I have another place but it is saved on my computer. I can get it to you in about 6.5 hours lol

can i just withdraw a portion of my deposit or do i need to withdraw the whole thing?
If V2 adds all together, for now the idea is unstaking all at the same time.
ic ic..ty..guess i'll just buy more to do the lp staking instead of unstaking and restaking..haha
If RevDis is good, you won't even have to unstake. Who knows. Gotta wait and see
haha..yea
i just wanted to unstake a portion to add to the sushi lp...but since i can't unstake a portion, i'll just buy the ilv needed for the sushi lp š
Thats the spirit! Never unstake, always stake more.
You'll probably get enough RevDis to even forget your have staked ILV. š
Haha.
Funny thing is I was trying to buy more yesterday to do the lp... Then the binance announcement came and made my TX failed because it went over my limit š¤£
hahaha atleast you tried
is it possible to stake directly from the bsc network on mm? or do i have to bring it to mainnet
Have to be on Eth mainnet
Do you know where you can buy ILV on BSC ?
you cant..its only on eth
thanks
š
Hey guys. How often have you been re staking your ilv?!
Guys, I have ILV on Binance and I want to transfer to metamask. Do I need to configure something before on metamask? I saw some videos of people adding the ILV token manually on metamask.
when you add the ILV to the MM i think from BSC wallet you will need to just find the token in MM and then it will show you for you
First time I am dealing with crypto. Kinda lost.š©
this depends on if your locked staking or flexible staking but otherwise if you locked staking your ILV go right away into staking again but only the ILV once not the pair
im more than willing to help you through this are you trying to stake?
yes. I just withdraw the ILV. Lets see if I can find it on MM.
ok cool what type of staking are you trying to go for
ILV as long as available.
no i understand that haha i mean are you just wanting to stake ILV or do pair LP staking. Also it might be better if you want we can chat in one of the voice calls and i can explain more to you how to stake
My ILV and SLP are locked 52 week staking. Iām over 1 ILV rewards and was wondering if itās best to eventually restake that or just let it sit there.
Letting it sit there will not help or compound. You need to claim your rewards if you wish to withdraw them later (one year later) or benefit from compounding effect and later RevDis. Just take gas into account
Thatās what I thought. I just wasnāt sure when was the best time to do it with gas and fees etc
Like monthly or bi weekly. That kinda thought process
There are calculators in pinned messages here in the channel that can help you, although you can always claim when you have enough rewards that justify paying gas for. Usually ppl claim when gas is 1% of their unclaimed rewards in $
Thanks a ton! Thatās actually a nice rule of thumb to think about. Iāll also go through the pinned messages
No worries. Happy to help š
Is everything on the staking dashboard denominated in USD?
You mean the monetary values? Yeah it's USD
Yep, thank you mate
how do you think the withdraw unlock on the 23rd is going to effect ILV? Better to wait yeah?
So it seems that impermanent loss is a larger factor if either ETH/ILV remain constant and the other changes in value. I'm wondering how much it matters when ETH and ILV grow together?
Expecting both to happen with ETH moving to ETH2.0 and obviously this game being dope as fuc
if it's together then you get the benefit of both
eth2 will see a small drop in price initially because more stakes will be unlocked which will probably be a large profit take for stakers, then it should rebound over time, but that is not financial advise, just my hypothesis
Makes sense. Thanks a bunch š still trying to learn
Yeah I was thinking the same! Both projects on a steady growth path!
How long y'all locked up for?
I did the 1 year lock for the 2X
Just check on a calculator. I was scared of IL so I did single sided staking with 20 ILV. Regret it now. IL really isn't that bad with such high APY
I did a mix of the 2 core pools. But not going to lie, that return on the SL pool is š !!
I have not been claiming sILV, only ILV. Maybe closer to land sales I will get that sILV, but for now just trying to grow the number of ILV I have
@wide eagle
No, you can't swap them. If locked you have to wait for them to unlock.
Oh right lol

Read your blog, thanks for all the great content. It seems by staking and locking up we're basically providing exit liquidity for early investors.
If we stake for different lock up periods, will we have separate gas fees with each reward claim? So one locked for 20 weeks and another for 52 weeks means I have to pay 2x fees every time I claim?
all claims are lumped together. If you're in the SLP, it is two transactions, one for the ILV pool, the other for the SLP, but all stakes in both pools are claimed at the same time. Hopefully Staking V2 brings this cost down further. I have multiple stakes started at different times, and it's all lumped together.
true, but we're also getting huge rewards for it. It is also incredibly freeing to be locked for a year, watch the craziness of the broader market or Illuvium last night with the Binance announcement, and not be able to do a darn thing about it. I'm confident i would have sold some or all at some point so far if I wasn't locked. It's forced HODLing, and it feels good š
Yeah, agree. I'm guessing your lockup ends earlier. Feels good when the price is up, but it will feel even more painful if bull market ends first half next year and then I have to watch my fortunes bleed while I can't do shit about it.
So I wouldn't pay double gas fees if I locked for 2 different time periods? Thinking of locking until March and another 1 or 2 lockups til June or 12 months.
lol gwei is at 300+ right now
damn, must be some big mint, was <50 minutes ago
it went to 500+ like couple mins ago , coming back to earth around 150s
Is staking profitable when I'm being charged $60USD in gas? (1 ILV)
mm, probably but i would wait for lowest gas possible if you're only staking one ILV
Got $48 gas fee earlier for claiming ilv rewards from sushi lp stake. Only 2 ilv but why not at that price. Usually $150-200 gas
Are the rewards for staking in game rewards?
This has probly been answered before but has anyone figured out ideal cadence to claim? I have my ILV locked for a year, trying to decide when to claim to take advantage of compounding but not lose $$$ to gas.
You have the option to claim ILV (out of game, locks for another year and gains compounding rewards), or sILV (in game currency along with ETH, no locking)
Need answers for these claiming questions.
I staked only on the SLP I'm waiting to next week for my first claim.
I understand that I'll pay gas fees for that claim and those rewards will auto stake on the ILv pool.
On my second claim I'll have rewards to claim in both pools one from my initial staking on the slp and the other for the rewards that I claim on the first time that will be in the ILv pool. When I claim these time ill do it on the slp and it will auto claim the ilv pool, from what I understand.
The question are.
1)all of these statements are correct?
2) I'll be paying gas for both claimings or just one time cause I'll do it on the Slp side?
3)If I stake in 3 different occasions on a same pool, when I claim rewards it will cost me gas x3 or just x1.
I kindly ask for answers from people with previous experience on these cases or an admin, pretty sure it's something a lot of people doesn't know. š š
yes your statements are correct. you would pay gas for both. when claiming rewards you just claim the total accumulated rewards
"Ideal" is different for everyone, but there are calculators in the pinned messages that help! I've seen people comfortable paying 10% gas fees, down to people who swear by only 1%.
Solid ty
Someone who have claimed these week with gas around 40 who much it costed on ILv and Slp pools?
vetemor has his transaction cost calculator pinned - check that out. I'd guess gas in the lower 40s would be in the $60-70 range for your SLP claim. Only ever claim from the SLP, as it will automatically claim the ILV at the same time, but it will be two transactions.
Thanks I wanted a real data cause I used that calculator from moving my eth from binance all the way to staking slp and it cost me 80$ and the calculator give me 116$ for that
So almost 40 dollars difference
gas is completely dynamic and accounts for Maximum cost
I haven't claimed since the weekend, and got low 30s gwei, so it was less than $60. Low 40's gwei i get around $65, and i've claimed up to mid 80's gwei and it cost $160. that's my range of experience claiming the SLP.
You Mean slp+ilv?
i think he means just SLP
Cost to claim rewards from the SLP pool (dual transaction)
yea its crazy
correct - total claim cost of the two transactions when claiming from the SLP.
Thanks you all
i dont think there is away to see that
you could fo the math yourself tho i think but that is gonna be a challenge
I'm trying to send ETH from my coinbase wallet to metamask. I went to settings in metamask and clicke on advanced gas controls; however, when I initiate the transfer to metamask, it pops up and does not show me the screen to be able to set your own GWEI...what am I doing wrong?
maybe apy vision
just staked some SLP and I see some ILV rewards, do these get staked automatically or do we have to claim then stake?
I think you need pro for that on vision
When I am providing liquidity for Illuvium and am earning the yield in ILV/sILV, am I also earning money for the fees for providing that liquidity on sushiswap?
they get staked automatically
Is there any calculator to get an estimate of how much I have earned so far?
To be clear, the pending rewards do not earn interest. When you claim, they will automatically lock in the ILV-only pool for 12 months.
thank u! gas fees are insane right now
lol didn't see that, I provided liquidity when ILV was around $100 so I am very curious how much in fees I have earned from all the volume since then
ahh i see. need to find the optimal claiming & staking schedule
Agreed, there has to be some kind of calculator that can look at the volume traded in the pool since you joined to give an estimate of the fees you have earned
btw. if i Stake the ILV directly to the pool, how many times im expected to pay for Eth fees. just one to stake and one to claim?
also if i lock stake am i forced to claim after the unlock period to keep earning?
I'm assuming you mean staking on staking.illluvium.io you have will have one fees to approve the stake, and then to actually stake it, lets say you do the SLP then you would have the swap fees for getting the 50/50 ratio of ILV/ETH
what if i want to stake without SLP? how many times i have to pay fees?
this is prob a stupid question due to the high apy, but is anyone worried about IL on the long term stake.
Then assuming you already have ILV just two fees
No sir since the rewards more than make up for the IL.
lol thanks what im thinking
if i want to stake on slp i have to have on my metamask 50/50 eth and ilv?
there were some mention about staking on binance?
Not that Iāve heard of. It would not be as good as the official pools anyways even if there were something binance put together.
!staking
You can find an in-depth video for staking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6YugU4zZr4&t=1s
hi there, i bought more ILV during the dip, im planning to stake on the website, however can someone explain what SLP has to do with ILV? i got alot of SLP not too sure what to do
SLP here is the sushi liquidity pool, not smooth love potions. Guessing that may be your confusion
Checkout what Mozart said about LP
ayeeeeeee we at 620APY!!!
What causes it to increase?
I read when you add liquity to your ETH/ILV pool it automatically vest your tokens you have earned thus far. Is this true?
guessing price pump, makes some unstake and sell.
rewards tokens vest after claimed and earn apy plus 2.0weight
I knew that. I will just have to try and see cause I wanna add more liquity
thinking the same, not sure if holding any other crypto makes sense at this point with this apy
ohh thanks for clarify, caz i saw AXS on Flash pool and thought SLP is in the picture too.
Hello I accidentally locked my stake in for a week and i went to go unstake after much more than a week and i ended up getting charged alot of eth and cannot find my ilvā¦.. who can help?
Please help
Well if you claimed it as ilv its going to be locked for another 12 months. Read before you invest.. xd
But you will continue to get rewards from it
I have the ilv now but i was charged .37 eth says it was sent to a coinbase account
Is the ILV token contract in your wallet? Add the token contract to see if that enables it to show up. Or go back to stake and see if you have available ILV to stake there.
Hello, I bought my ILV on Binance and want to transfer it into my metamask wallet to stake. is there a cheaper way to do this?
Hey everyone, I staked 7.5 SLP on Monday and already see 1.2 ILV in Rewards. Has anyone calculated if it makes sense to claim more frequently than once a week if gas is low?
there's a calculator under the pinned messages
Are the rewards automatically compounded on the LP pool?
Once they are claimed then they receive the 2x weight in the ILV core pool
If it's just pending it's wasted yield?
Nothing's really "wasted" , once you feel you have enough rewards to justify the gas fee to claim they are then locked in the ILV core pool for 12 months with 2x weight
While they are pending they aren't in the ILV core pool
I mean, if you have 1000 ILV rewards unclaimed on the LP pool, does it affect the LP pool rewards in any way (the sushi one, not the LP) or it's wasted because those 1000 ILV could be earning yield on its own if claimed
I suppose if you were a whale and accumulated a massive amount and hadn't claimed in a long time then that would be some wasted yield
just find an equilibrium that works for you
(the sushi one, not the core)* is what I meant. But got it thanks, slow mode not letting me reply on time haha
do you get revdis on your unclaimed rewards? if so what weight
Great question. I think the answer is no. Iāve always heard the ILV needs to be staked to get the rewards.
You do not get revdis on unclaimed rewards. Technically speaking, claiming rewards mints those rewards, so unclaimed ILV don't really exist yet, nor are they staked.
Thatāll be a no for sure. If you could earn revdis on unclaimed rewards then youād need to count those unclaimed rewards as earned income or whatever taxable asset class theyād fit in. But they arenāt even minted yet.
@gloomy gazelle @cyan rampart yeah cheers for clearing that up, does make sense. After V2 we wouldnt even be asking this question anyway ahah so doesnt really matter but handy to know for land sale
Lol blickter and I are on similar schedules. But I think itās morning for him and night for me.
Hey erybody
If I am staking in the ILV pool, can I stake a second time in the same pool?
It says I need to take out my rewards to do so, does that mean that the rewards will pile up collectively after I start staking the other ILV?
When you go to stake for your 2nd time, you will be prompted to claim your pending ILV rewards. Then you'll do a 2nd tx to add your 2nd stake.
Thankyou, I appreciate it
Yeah staking questions and help can be found here usually.
Im about to stake my ilv and damn gas fees are so high
Lovely, I just did it. I assume that my rewards went into the amount that I was staking.
That's ETH for you, at the moment anyway. It'll get better soon, we gotta suck it up for now.
Do we know anything about staking v2?
Itās just the gas fees are more than the amount im staking in Ilv
Will v1 contracts automatically be moved to v2?
That's tough man - Maybe wait to add more ILV when you can, so it's more worth it. ILV will be around for a LONG TIME. So you're all good
click on the vesting tab to see your different stake deposits/rewards. You can also go to: Staking > Core > Details to see your amount in each pool
No
Check the iip and the discussion above.
Cheers!
Thanks, checked that out, helpful
Will the rewards claim under V1 staking be locked for 12 months or 24 months after V2 staking is implemented ?
What happens after your initial stake goes from locked to unlock? Will it still accumulate rewards or does it need to be restaked and locked again?
Unlocked stakes remain staked until manually withdrawn. They keep the token weight bonus from their locking periods while still staked š
Got it sounds good! Thanks!
if i put 3k total usd on slp staking...
it's going to be aprox 3 ilv and the same on eth...
that's 1 slp or half slp?
Half eth half ilv
depends how much slp now costs, if it costs 3k then yes
Check the % allocation of the SLP and quantity to form 1 SLP https://app.zerion.io/invest/asset/SLP-0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
yeah but that mean's that im going to have staking 1 slp ? or half slp?
I believe you will get 1 and a bit slp
i think that's it...ty
Oh they will be over the moon.
when will link flash pool come u think?
it's up for vote now š next week maybe? donno
Can anyone tell me what stage on this curve we're at right now, how many weeks has it been since staking started :)?
each line is two weeks
so 1 month = 2 lines
we are like 6 lines in i believe
dont quote me though
I set staking for 52 weeks locked and its been a week and it says i can alrady claim my reward ?
yes you can. But when you claim it'll be locked for a year and compound to your stake with a weight of 2X
Oh ok
So if you want your rewards (withdraw later or let it compound) you'd better claim whenever you have enough that would justify paying gas for
How often do I have to pay gas fees for claiming?
You decide when you claim
you can check some calculators pinned in pinned messages here in the channel. But you can also do that whenever you're ok and comfortable
What the question Is : if I want to claim them, do I have to pay transaction fees once or twice? So once for claiming and once for staking it again?
if you wanna claim SLP rewards, yeah you have to pay two gas as it claims both pools rewards. If you wanna claim ILV pool only, then 1 gas should suffice. then it will compound automatically AFTER the claim was a success
Hey everyone, I informed myself so far but I still wobble on one point: I have now 5 ILV in the core staking pool 20% for 1 year, locked for a 2.0 weight and ILV as reward. If I come back after 12 months to claim my reward (5 ILVs) are these 5 ILVs automatically logged in again for 12 months or does that only happen when I claim rewards within those first 12months?
Hi all. I have some SLP staked which is earning me ILV. Am I right in saying that if I claim that ILV and then want to restake it, I have to do this manually (i.e. it doesn't happen automatically)? Also, if I do restake it, I can choose how long this is for? I may want the restaked ILV to be available the same time as the SLP that I originally staked. This would mean I would stake the ILV for slightly less than 12 months. Hope that makes sense.
It will go into the ilv pool directly and vest for 12 months
!claim Claimed ILV from yield farm rewards compounds automatically š
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuviumās Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
if you don't claim rewards, you'll never get them and they will sit there idle. You have to claim so you can get them a year later and to start the compounding effect. It will happen AFTER the claim
Thanks all for the responses. So the compounding effect only starts once claimed? When they are unclaimed they do not compound?
Unclaimed rewards just sit there idle doing nothing š like they don't even exist
Another question if you don't mind. Once I've staked my claimed ILV rewards, they will earn more ILV (in addition to the SLP I originally staked). Now can I claim the rewarded ILV from both these pools together, or do I have to do it separately?
I ask because the ILV that will be staked from my rewards could take a while (on its own) to generate enough rewards to justify paying gas to claim them. Hope that makes sense
If you also have SLP, claiming its rewards will claim your ILV rewards too. So you will pay 2 gas for to TXs.
Excellent. Thanks a lot - much appreciated
No worries friend š
Hi. Whatās the rate for ILV to sILV?
Within the Illuvium Ecosystem it is 1:1 even if sILV trades below ILV on the open market š
thanks man
someone have the SLP adress please to add to metamask
It's pinned here
yees thank's
ILV Token: 0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e
ETH/ILV SLP Token: 0x6a091a3406e0073c3cd6340122143009adac0eda
sILV Token: 0x398aea1c9ceb7de800284bb399a15e0efe5a9ec2
yes i have thank's, already staked , so happy!!!!
With the SLP tokens, do you also get the full yield on your eth?
Yield Farm rewards take the total value into consideration, yes. RevDis only the actual amount of ILV though š
if you lock stake on the slp can you withdraw your rewards or are they locked also
!claim Claiming rewards is no different whether or not your deposit is locked or not š
NB: ILV paid out as part of Illuviumās Revenue Distribution have to be claimed as well but are not subject to a locking period.
cool thank you š
So I can stack SLP to earn IIV?
SLP (Sushi Liquidity Pool Token) yeah.
AHH that SLPP not the axie oone š
yes that's why I wrote it in full name š
Does the SLP pool receive revdis?
Yes. It's ETH + ILV. The ILV part receives it, not ETH
Okay thanks
Hi guys. I have a question: what does the slp price depend on? Does it depend on the ilv price? If so, how?
Value of both ILV and ETH as the SLP token represents a % of the total pool. Therefore it also represents the transaction fees accrued.
Should the staking equal for eth and ilv for slp? Can we make it not equal?
To add to a liquidity pool you must add an equal value of each token.
hi guys'
If equal value, do we receive both eth and ilv as dividends?
1 ILV able to get how many staking per day
Rewards are all in ILV.
APY changes, so this will vary, but if APY is 70%, that's 70/365 = .1917% per day.
So about .002 ILV per day in the Core ILV Pool with 1 ILV staked.
You can do the math for SLP, it's the same idea!
Another way to look at it is 1 ILV will generate .7 ILV a year at 70% APY. Divide that out by whatever timeframe you want to see.
thanks for your explanation
If we got slp staking at 500% apy, is that guaranteed after a year i get 500% gain?
sushi LP staking 600 %
As Blickter said above, APY changes. It naturally drops 3% every two weeks and will vary based on how much is staked. So no, the % is not guaranteed.
why is it so much diffrent, so is sushi better or just go for ETH/ILV
Just being a nitpicker here: Total rewards drop 3% every 2 weeks, APY can change much more than that.
Damn that's a good graphic.
Every 2 weeks apy change, so do we receive our interest every 2 weeks before it drops to new rates?
i have question about sushi lequidity pool
APY changes dynamically and rewards are calculated every block.
does anyone has info about it ?
APY changes literally all the time. It's based on total investment in the pool, ILV price, ETH price and total rewards distributed. It generally holds steady when there's not much price action, but it DOES change by a bit super frequently.
For general info, I'd read the pinned messages in this channel. There's TONS of information available. If you have a specific question, you can ask here.
where do you guys stake?
!staking
With the ETH in the vault that is used to buy ILV from the SLP pool, does it mean the ETH of the SLP is then increased?
the amount of ETH in the SLP pool is then increased?
This will depends on the price of ilv growth vs eth growth
Temporarily, yes. Liquidity Pools automatically balance their assets, so that would be balanced out fairly quickly.
Like, immediately after a buy, the SLP would contain the ETH used to buy ILV. The pool would identify the imbalance, and immediately start trying to balance the 2 assets to maximize liquidity.
Okay i get you! What happens when all ILV set aside for rewards in staking is finished? Is staking then stopped?
!revdis Staking is still required for revenue distribution, so Yield Farm rewards will run out, but staking will not end.
The tokenomics of this DAO include a 100% revenue distribution (could be subject to change - DAO governance). This means that any kind of revenue generated through sales or in-game revenue is distributed back to holders of staked ILV. The same max supply of 10 Million ILV will be used for this purpose regardless of how many games the DAO develops.
Revenue distribution is paid out in the form of unlocked ILV and the payout is done multiple times a week without a fixed schedule. Before paying out revenue distribution, the vault converts ETH spent in-game into ILV by buying it off the market which puts buying pressure on the ILV token and thus supports its price development.
ILV must be staked to receive RevDis, so staking will be around as long as the ILV project is set up this way.
is there any admin that can assist to check on my ILV staking status?
You should be able to check for yourself, via the Illuvium website and dashboard! Were you having issues with the website?
Yes, when i try to stake on core pools, my ILV doesn't show up
Did your staking transaction complete?
Sorry if i sound stupid, just asking to fill in blanks. So 5% of all sales go to the vault and the other 95% is used to buy ILV from the market?
nope, but i checked that my ILV was transferred to ILV staking
If the ILV has left your wallet, you've completed a transaction. If it's still in your wallet, the transaction didn't complete.
ILV no longer in my wallet, transaction record shows i sent it to ILV wallet. But it doesn't appear in my balance
Are you confident you used the official Illuvium website? There isn't an ILV wallet - you stake ILV and it enters the staking pools, but there is no wallet associated with the project.
0x767fe9edc9e0df98e07454847909b5e959d7ca0e is this a official ILV wallet
it says my coins went to this wallet in the records
it was all done on the illuvium official website
That's the contract address of the ILV token itself
can i provide the transaction hash here so that someone can assist to check
You can DM me the transaction, I'll try and figure out what's going on.
One thng to consider is that staking, if I remember correctly, requires approval of two transactions - one to approve interaction with the contract and a second to actually stake.
Hey guys, I have a friend who is having trouble staking SLP. Is there a support contact here I can give him to try and help him troubleshoot his issue?
He also is unable to join this discord for some reason
@cyan rampart i think could help with this?
@cyan rampart would you mind if I gave him your handle to DM you?
Hey does anyone here own a ledger wallet and is using it whilst staking ILV?
Go for it, I'll do what I can!
And who is @remote quest reaching out about technical support?
Thank you!
!scam Probably a scammer, whenever possible we prefer to discuss things in public chat, and a mod will NEVER DM you first.
This is a reminder to never give out your private key (12 to 24 word seed phrase) to anyone.
Nobody in the team will ever ask you to send ETH. There has been increasing activity of DMs in this Discord related to scams and fake giveaways.
Any giveaways/promotions will be announced on official channels. Not in Discord DMs. #šØāćreport-scammers in the linked section with a screenshot of the message you got in DM's. @cyan rampart I figured
Sorry for the total noob question: If I buy 1 ILV and stake it for 1 year what will be my return?
Can anyone help:
I have bought a ledger due to the increasing number of browser hacks. Is it possible to stake ILV through ledger and is it possible to move my currently stake ILV onto ledger?? Thanks!
Depends on the average APY (APY changes over time, generally trending downward as per the tokenomics of ILV), but if APY were 70% for a whole year without changing, you'd generate .7 ILV per ILV staked.
Annual Percentage Yield.
Is 70% the current APY?
67% core ILV now
67.4% for the ILV Core Pool with a 12 month lock.
You can always check each pool's APY on the website.
Thanks. Why is the APY so high with Sushi, is there greater risk involved?
Yup! There's a graphic showing the general risks/benefits to each pool if you checked the pinned messages in this channel.
I'd recommend reading most of the pinned resources to get a good idea of the risks before investing. Always DYOR š
Thanks for your patience, I'm new to Discord, I'll go and read the pinned stuff before bothering you any more āŗļø
Not a problem, I'm here to help š If you have more questions after you read through, feel free to ask!
Will do š
Nope, 100% goes into vault. At random the vault will purchase ILV from the open market and distribute to all ILV token holders that are staking
Exactly this - The vault is simply there to accept ETH transactions, purchase ILV, and distribute it to stakers. You might be thinking of the Treasury, which will receive revenue distribution by having treasury ILV tokens staked (at 0 weight, and not collecting yield farm, but eligible for revdis).
I m also interested into that. I'm thinking about getting a ledger and wanted to know if what i already stack could be transfered to the ledger (because as far as i understood on the ledger webstite you need to create a new account once you have your device and import it to metamask). I m afraid whatever the future claim i ll do they ll stick to the metamask wallet instead of the ledger
the revenue comes with no gs fee right
Wait, the revenue is in ILV ou SLV?
ok ILV
Revdis is paid out in ILV - you'll have to claim your revdis AFAIK, but you can also let it accumulate until it's worthwhile to claim.
To other blockchains? I haven't heard any intention to have ILV on other blockchains.
If you're referring to gas costs, there's #880885576591634492 .
I'm not privy to what the team is planning, but the community sentiment seems to be that 1 of 2 things will help mitigate gas costs.
- It's possible that eventually all staking/claiming etc. could be moved to a L2 solution like IMX or Arbitrum.
- Ethereum 2.0 (specifically, shard chains) completely solves gas issues.
These aren't "official" by any means, but seems to be what most people think will help with gas.
ok tks
Guys any ideas about how to withdraw my rewards with out pay 100$ in fees because of the scam ETH?
Wait for cheaper gas!
Or potentially, wait for staking V2 if you're not in a rush.
So, if you're locked at 12 months you will get the option to be able to stake for 2 years at a higher weight when going over to V2?
you'll be able to keep your same weight and lock period converting to staking v2. you won't need to lock for longer to enable the max 2x weight. new people coming in will need to lock for 2 years instead of your 12 month lock to get the same rate
Gotcha, thanks šš
Is it stupid from my part to stake only 1 $LIV due to ETH fees? Or should I go for it? š¤
I think it can be worth it to stake that. I would wait for a time when gas is <40 though for sure.
Bellow 40 is an acceptable staking fee? Someone above is complaining about 100 fee haha
Gas and the actual $ fee that you spend to stake aren't equivalent. I think there is a calculator pinned that does the conversion for your basic staking transactions.
Iāll take a look, thanks my friend! š
This is the one I was thinking of, fyi. #š„©ćstaking message
