I think it is inevitable for $ILV to be listed on big CEXs down the line. Now when that will happen, I cannot anticipate. I think our low supply in tokens might push this to a later date even if the price continues to grow. Maybe when team/seed tokens START to unlock April 2022 we could see more interest from CEXs if everything keeps pumping as we all hope. I think we should be on at least one CEX by late 2022, before that I'm unsure and in general => It's just my own speculation.

But we had that discussion briefly once already. There will always be people who sell and we even need to have people selling so the treasury can buy back $ILV to distribute as revenue again. Just imagine the veeeeeery unlikely scenario were 100% of the circulating supply of $ILV is the hands of people who are staking and HODLing. The treasury would be unable to buy any $ILV on the market to pay out revenue distributions. We would have to change the protocol then to pay out $ETH or whatever as revenue 😄

You need to do what you think is best, but instead of alternating I would personally advice you to claim $ILV first and then start claiming sILV closer to release. sILV claimed now do nothing for you. $ILV claimed now are staked with a value of 2.0 and thus contribute to your compounding. So if you would go for 5 weeks of sILV and 5 weeks of ILV in an alternating way, I would suggest to do 5 weeks $ILV first and then 5 weeks sILV. You'll end up with more ILV AND sILV.

I don't think there has been a dedicated article about that yet. But aside from staking $ILV and earning yield rewards as well as revenue distribution, there will be plenty options to earn like:

  • capture Illuvials and sell them
  • farm materials/shards and sell those
  • craft items and sell them
  • wager in the leviathan arena
  • possible tournament rewards
  • ...

There will for sure also be markets to conquer that we cannot even anticipate yet.
