Being first certainly does not equal staying at the top. For that to happen being first needs to include a quality capable of competing with whatever comes next. In regards to Axie and Illuvium, I don't see that happening. Axie will for sure remain successful and Illuvium won't surpass their market cap right away but if the team delivers as expected, I cannot see Axie keep it's position for very long. Quality differences are too imense, regardless of "being first" or not.
