Upon use, these NFT's will be burnt when applied in game. This is only true for these emote's and skins as they were bonuses for the initial ILV token sale.

Not at first. There will be a free to play version in which you have free Tier 0 shards and you can capture the Tier 0 Illuvials (not very powerful). But that way, you can still build a team and battle to find out if you like the game.

Then if you want Tier 1 and higher Illuvials, you will need to pay to travel to a region with more powerful Illuvials... and also create better shards to capture the better Illuvials 🙂

Hmm, I think I need to consider leaving Germany after all. Just read into taxes etc. and while it's great that any crypto you buy and sell after holding for at least a year is tax free regardless how big of a profit you make, they do tax any profits from trades earlier than a year AND from any kind of staking. So basically, they tax my income with 45% and from the money I then invest into crypto and start gaining staking profits from, they want to have 45% as well?! Yeah right...gotta check which countries come with proper laws lol

Of course if you have 10k in your account and suddenly you withdraw $1M, banks might ask questions, but if you keep that number low I don't think any government would care. Would they? 🤔

But staking makes it super complicated when done by the book and trying to avoid breaking the law.

I was actually considering to move to Dubai for a while and Dubai has 0 taxes for private people to my knowledge so that obviously is quite lucrative. I wouldn't mind just buying a house in Germany either but planning to hodl $ILV long-term means I don't really gain anything from the crypto tax benefits in Germany while they want to have a 45% cut of all my stake/revenue share profits (unless I break the law and hide it) which I find completely insane and ridiculous.

From what I gather from the US cryptosphere you are taxed per transaction or they atleast want to know all your transactions

In NL you are taxed on your total net worth (capital - debt) each year. They come up with a fictional return on that net worth, and you pay 30% of that return. If your net worth is below 50k you pay nothing, if it is 100k you pay like half a percent, if 200k like 1 percent, you only really start to feel it once your net worth is above 1M, at which you can play around with debt comfortably

In Germany, the way I read it, any kind of trade that nets you a profit at the time of trading (not time of converting to FIAT) is subject to taxes unless you did buy a crypto and hold it for at least 12 months. That basically means that every kind of trade I'll make in the Illuvidex (considering I didn't buy and hold for a year) is something I'll have to document and consider for taxes...that's absurd. I'm not gonna pay the f* government taxes for a Loovie I went out catching and then selling on the marketplace. You gotta be kidding me.

Not the way I understood my research. "Goods" qualified as well and in regards to staking I clearly read it is subject to taxes. Gambling doesn't necessarily prevent you from taxes either. You still pay taxes if you speculated on a profit and actually get it. That's why you need to hold crypto for 12 months for example to get out of taxes for it.

The official government body just announced ideas like increasing holding times until crypto can be sold for profit tax free from 1 to 10 years for example. Obviously, we have to see if this (or any of the other ridiculous proposals) actually become law but if so, then I'll definitively have to leave. If not, I still have to see what to do about staking taxes etc.

Germany wants taxes on staking AND every token used for staking get's a prolonged ten year timer (instead of one year) until you can sell the token without paying taxes on the profit as well.

I found the softweave fabric to be super comfortable personally. For the PU Leather I have a towel/blanket on the part I sit on. Never been much of a fan when it comes to leather (even synthetic) especially when it gets hot.
