That's the reason we went with quadratic voting by the way. Personally I feel that the people who have been in the project since the start have a better understanding of things (not because they are better) but because they know it more deeply. Eventually there will a really good spread of tokens between all sorts of investors.

The way voting power works is you have to use more tokens the higher your vote goes. So if someone has say 10,000 tokens, they have a vote power of 100.

If someone else buys 100 tokens (which is a decent chunk for a smaller investor) they have a vote power of 10.

So 10 people buying 100 (total 1000) can have a vote power of the same as one person with 10000.

If the person bought those 10,000 in the pre-seed then they spent $10,000. The people buying those 1,000 tokens now will spend 49000. Which means that the difference is 4.9. And the risk that those people put in was very high.

In the end if the issue is that you are angry or annoyed that the price is higher than what it was at some point then I'm not sure I can really help you with that. What I can do is work towards making the game really good. If the price goes up after that then sweet. But either way it seems a bit strange to have of of the first ever games where you can have a direct input and the issue for you is that you didn't get in early enough to have more of an input.

I can assure you that getting them done could not have been done earlier no matter what since a lot had to be redone. And then that needed to be audited. The audit has taken a bit longer too. Maybe a few days.

But we've resubmitted and are happy with the code. We need to get the green light with quantstamp and make sure that the staking interface is really nice. The wireframes are all done and it's just a matter of getting a few more front end things done. We have some really good guys working on it and it will be done pretty soon.

Is it a delay? Yes. Is it going to look better and work better than if we rushed it? Yes.

As always, we will tell you what we estimate and tell you if there are delays. It's not like we have secrets here. About the only thing that I won't tell people is the story. I wanted to keep a lot of the art secret but I kinda of failed in reigning in a couple of people. 😛

For the record once we get through the first game I'm not saying PEEP about anything. No forecasts. No updates. Just one day BAM, new game go play the beta.
