The reason I say after October Aaron responded in telegram when I told some one Octoberish: It might be later than October. We are currently getting everything ready for a game demo which we are trying to polish to the point it looks close to the final product. Once we have done this we'll have a great idea of how long the rest of the game will take. We'll update the white paper if things change. I promise we are working as fast as we can on this, but we're also trying to put out something that is an actual game and not a 'block chain game'

I had hoped for a bit more as well. While his reach obviously is enormous and it certainly was a good choice from the team to try and check if they could tap in there, I was slightly disappointed with the presentation. It was so incredibly obvious how the entire text was read out loud and it didn't sound like much effort was put into tone of voice or getting to know the game. I might be wrong here and certainly don't want to criticize someone for their YouTube skills (as he obviously is doing very well on that end) but in regards to the ILV part, I do think it could have been done more enthusiasticly and less "just read what they send".

Guys just my two cents, I think Illuvium team did a good job of getting the message across. However I do not think targeting gamers/gaming communities at this point is not optimal. I think you should focus on influencers who are really passionate about this project. Clix gave me an uninterested impression, like he is just reading something off a paper. How can his followers be hyped for Illuvium if he himself has no interest in the game?

I think a lot of us are in agreement the presentation of it was subpar, I don't know the details of the deal but I think the results could lead to valuable learning in terms of what markets can be tried to expand the exposure of Illuvium. Personally I don't think age is relevant. And he covers gaming, so it's understandable that he's followers don't know much about crypto space. We need to accept that ILV is still a crypto project and entering it also requires a bit of knowledge regarding the matter and not gaming itself. So I'd say the best way to market for it is to go in using both crypto and gaming marketing strategy. Wouldn't you agree?

I do believe this to a certain extant. the execution could have been done entirely different knowing his viewers background. As such of explaining crypto and where ILV is locationed and how to get it and such to lesser that bridge. Now the way it was done, was not efficient to the fact of knowing the viewers are mainly younger n no crypto background. That gap could have been filled with information during the video post to educate ontop of introducing them into the space

To be honest, I can't really lose. Being completely new to the entire crypto space and knowing that any investment is always a gamble, regardless how safe it appears, the money I converted into cryptocurrency and currently invest here and there is initially written off as 0$ left in my mind. So any value it retains or even gains is a bonus 😄 Right now I'm just considering how to maximize my profit chances AND (very importantly!) my own fun while playing when the game releases.

I had the exact same thought when I first started researching the project. “AAA” is a pretty subjective term. I think the graphics will be “AAA” but I’m not sure how much writing/voice acting etc will be included in the final product. The team has grown to over I think 70+ members now and the fact that the success of the project is tied directly to their wallets I think is great motivation. But yeah I’m also interested to see how far they can rly get in 1 year haha
