I think the best method is to implement gameplay mechanics that make botting not very effective. Aaron mentioned something about how curing shards will deter them but I donāt remember exactly what he said.

You will be able to carry your Illuvials in your shards and Moz4rt is doing the leg work of carrying the shards. How much? Unknown. As for combat, Illuvials are on a point system. Some Illuvials represent 4 points for exemple and some only 2. You will have a point ceilling and you place Illuvials accordingly while trying to fit synergies
