Agreed! This ⬆️ is something that also tends to slip my mind. Yes, the team is growing and each person is a true expert in their field but there is always a period of training. Just think about our normie jobs (I’m sure some of you have one like I do).

There’s an opening on your team.
You screen/interview candidates.

Defines an address into the constant variable ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER

While in the burn() function, it seems that the address that has ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER will skip any approvals for burning tokens.
So an address, to be allowed to burn, either needs to have access to burn their own tokens, or need to be able to "burn on behalf" or simply needs to be the ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER address, taken from this snippet of code:

I am curious, in what scenario will the ROLE_TOKEN_DESTROYER variable be used?

The only entity that has access to this is the eDao which requires a number of signatures to be approved. And this function is only available until the yield farming begins. It is a failsafe to make sure that everything goes smoothly with yield farming. It won't be a function that exists after the yield farming starts, and until then the only way it can be executed is with consensus from a number of individuals in the eDao. There is almost zero likelihood that it ever gets called before it is removed, and the only reason would be because of some issue with yield farming that is missed by the developers AND the audit team.

Both minting and burning are functions still available. And both with be removed. These are simply in there to help boot strap everything. Estimate for the audit is 1-2 weeks, and then they will be removed as functions.
