I'm not sure the details that will get decided, but I can imagine it would be along the lines of, staking 10 ILV for 1 year might give you also 10 sILV. (may not be this simple, may just be a portion like 5 sILV)

then, after 1 year, you'd have to "burn" that same quantity of sILV to unlock the ILV. if you did nothing with the sILV it's a simple burn what you staked to claim.

if you turned your sILV to sETH or moved it out of your wallet or something, you'd want to trade it back to sILV so you could burn it to claim the ILV.

rewards unlocks is handled with a different claim tx (which you can push the rewards forward without having to do a claim if you're active in game)
