I found illuvium through cagyjan’s YouTube channel and Twitter mentions. The thing that turned me on to the game was its collection aspect as well as the opportunity to be a part of a brand new game (an innovator, of sorts). But I’ve been learning more about the autobattler aspect and I’m excited to try it. I really like how everyone seems really excited and active in this discord—probably the thing I’ve learned to love the most. I’m new to blockchain gaming and discord too but am not new to crypto. I think as far as game play goes it'll probably be something more like autochess. Where players take turn choosing their Illuvials and board placement. Then after the selection process is done they autobattle it out.

In the selection process you'd have a certain amount of points to spend on your team, with each illuvial being worth a certain amount of points. The more powerful being worth more, the less powers worth less.

That way you couldn't build a team of OP Illuvials, and that's where the skill and synergies and tactics come in. And also balances the game, so whales don't dominate with their bigger pocketbooks.

No. In the battle the hunter is functionally identical to an Illuvial. This is because the battle is deterministic. Basically, once the battle starts, it's over before you can blink. Then it is run on your local hardware. This way we don't need to run an unreal server for the battles. If you could move yourself in the battle it wouldn't be deterministic.

No it's clear! From my understanding there will be a continuous stream of new Illuvials. Now keep in mind. Not all 150 will be released at the games launch. Because different Iluvials will be native to any one of the 7 unique different regions in the game. And not all seven of those regions will be available upon initial release, let alone unlocked by players. Which is actually something Aaron talked about today in the AMA.

But even after the 150 initial Illuvials are designed they already have plans for set 2 & 3 etc.

If we had a system where the final number of Squizz's could be congruent to 0 mod 3 that would mean theoretically someone could buy all the Squizzes and fuse them into a higher stage.
