Both those things are a little mysterious at the moment. But the best answer for ilv value is straight up, don't know, we'll get a better idea of that in March I'd say.
And for how much ilv you'll get for airdrop. There is 10,000 ilv to be spread out. And there were just under 3k eligible member who could of registered for the drop. So it'll depend on how many of those people registered in regards to how much you'll get 😉 hope that helps ✊

I’m wondering if this game will be free to play or not... haven’t been around long enough to see anyone talk about it on here. One of the biggest criticisms about NFT games is they can be too expensive to buy in (a beginner Axies team cost 300-500 USD). And even “free to play” models like gods unchained are almost impossible to find success and have fun without spending any cash/crypto. I don’t mind spending some coin for premium content but am really just wondering what the business model will look like from a consumer standpoint

Gotcha.. I’m down for play to earn focus as long as skill + time can lead to a good return on investment. In my experience, a lot of play to earn requires a hefty entrance fee to be competitive enough to actually earn ($1000+ for Axies in order to consistently earn in arena). I guess what I’m trying to say, is that a nice balance would be appreciated!

Yeah, from everything I've heard from the dev team, the ama they've done and the articles that are available yet, they want to make it balanced and fair and are doing a lot of things that other P2E are not (which also means that they're not focusing exclusively on P2E too and rather making a good game)

Yeah I think that’s probably the best approach. Because a lot of these P2E games that people are binging are really not all that great compared to industry leading games on PlayStation for example. But a game that competes with those industry leaders and has play to earn elements.. wow would that be special

There should be a free to play aspect in the game at launch I think. (can't confirm this though, or perhaps close after launch) Aaron has been working on this problem recently and I think the idea behind it at the moment is an area where you can use Illuvials to get the hang of synergies, gameplay, that sort of thing. I imagine this will be a sort of "training grounds" or something along those lines. (nothing official yet though)

They have a good economist on team though (and just a great team in general) and the way it seems they're setting up their tokenomics looks to be very balanced and aimed at getting the user their investment returned. (of course this isn't confirmed, just connecting dots and there will be medium articles released soon on this subject)

There's gonna be a place for every level of gamer in this world. That much is clear anyways. From casual gamer, to invester, to Leviathan 😉😎

Immutable X is not yet being used by Gods Unchained, but the team developing IMX is also behind GU, so it will be the first game to run on it. IMX itself has not gone into beta yet or been released at all.

There will be a relatively small fee (I believe I heard it would be around $15 USD, give or take depending on a few variables) to essentially create a an IMX wallet. It will also cost money to move existing NFTs to and from the IMX environment. Luckily, new games like Illuvium will likely mint their NFTs directly onto IMX, so you won't need to pay any transfer fees to buy/sell/trade.

The different combination of Illuvials with their different classes and affinities will be endless. So strategy and tactics will be almost infinite. And you won't be able to make up a team of the stongest illuvials in game either, each illuvial based on its stats (I think) will be worth a point value, so you'll have to allocate those values carefully to create the best team possible depending on your situation and opponent.

The way it's looking like is this (but don't quote me!). Airdrops will come in on monday (could change due to the huge numbers they have to sift through as mentioned by @inner topaz) which will give those who signed up of the 2,900ish preILV. Holders of this preILV will be able to nominate and vote on members for the council. So if you get preILV your vote counts. The community won't just be sitting on the sidelines as their election process happens. It's for the community, done by the community.

Yeah just judging from all the questions on here I'd imagine there were loadsss of double wallet entries. Entries where people entered their discord name without their #'s, realized what they did and reentered.
I'm sure a lot of it wasn't done in bad faith, it's just the the nature of these things I'd say.

I can't use a bot because we were not precise in asking for specific Discord IDs (we should have put a how to, because it should be the long number string. Then my job would have been very easy)

As it stands, we had hundreds of people clearly TYPE their HANDLE (Aaron | Illuvium#2255) instead of PASTE their ID (781855879741308938) which meant that lots of people made spelling mistakes, added empty spaces to the start or end of their IDs, etc.... And I want to be thorough, so I'm using as many clever macros as I know to sift through it. But it has to be manual as well, because I want to help out those that need to go back to Kindergarten for spelling.

I won't mention any names, but at least 5 of our regularest regulars typed theirs in incorrectly.

I will not comment on that or I'll bring up some old wounds for a particular core contributor.

I’ve probably mentioned before that I’m a huge Pokémon fan; I think one area where Pokémon falls short is that they’ve never connected all of their regions into one mega-game. Ill explain in a video too but my case is very simple. I think is very important for the council to have a social media presence and reach that way we can better serve the community.
