That's a little more involved. To have it show up in your wallet you'd have to manually add a token to your wallet, but to do that you'd need the token address for the ILV token, and I'm not sure when that would be provided. But regardless it'll be in your wallet, it just might not show up until later.

If you're referring to demo released at the end of this month, I mean that they're aiming to release a gameplay demo. As for Beta they haven't released those details yet... Meaning that we aren't sure if you'd keep your illuvials or NFT's from beta. I'd say it'd be unlikely.

But who knows! God's unchained let you keep certain things from beta, but took other things. So it's anyone's guess at this time. Although they're constantly releasing updates. I suspect we'll know sometime in the near future!

You're always going to be a major factor in any battle that takes place. And I imagine that the fulcrum of your teams synergies and their maximum potential will be greatly influenced by whatever gem(s) you have in your weapon.

I think it's a given that armor will play a major factor in your (teams) ATK capabilities and your armor with the DEF.

But I don't think it'll be as simple as getting a gem and slapping it on the hilt or shaft of your weapon.

The thing I simply have not been able to puzzle out is how you absorb essences to power up your crystals, if bonding with your Illuvial has to do with essence and gems, and what defeating (not capturing) and Illuvial does for your weapon. **Big question marks here. **

So it will be a bit like the Final Fantasy series. Where you can assign "Materia" to your weapon and armor slots. Very nice

I think weapons/armor will mostly be character bound attack/defence etc, while gemstones and crystals will be party modifiers

To clarify, and this is through their medium if you connect dots, gemstones enhance weapons, crystals enhance armor, and both are mined.

I think the "upgrade item" refers to weapons or armor though, as we know of no other items (YET). And the context of the article seems to imply this. The only other item I can imagine it upgrading at the moment is your little "robobag" (robocarrier) (botbag) whatever it's called 😆

The value of ilv at the moment is unknown but the token gets released end of march.
