testing now if ilv bridges from passport to eth hard wallet on FlipMyNFT, just gotta find some IMX first, i converted it to buy a illuvitar lol

but you could swap to eth just as easily then transfer that... so not really a big deal unless you are trying to stake or something

worked fine, but its on Immutable zkEVM not ETH, but in my hardware wallet, if you wanted to stake you'd have to bridge to base

the immutable wallet tools (swap, bridge, etc on flipmynft work really good, and simple) but some chain knowledge is required... i.e. noticing that my hardware wallet was not going to be in Eth but Immutable zkEVM chain

using the bridge tool and rabby, i moved it from immtuable zkevm on my hw wallet to eth chain, imx was required

First - Minting isn't really required unless you need to sell/ trade them. You can directly use the off-chain blueprints in the game.

Second - minting on IMX isn't free anymore.

In regards to hunting your own Illuvials, you straight up cannot.
The only way to get your own Illuvials right now is through the Autodrone which is basically a luck based Gatcha system. If you want to specifically get what you want, you'll need to go the IlluviDex and buy from another player via a Web3 transaction.

That's definitely a big struggle with the game currently since the active playerbase is small. There is no matchmaking because queues would take way too long. But then in turn, people trying to level up can end up in the same lobby with some of the best players in the game.

It's the main reason why I create the weekly Illuvium House League events that you saw on Friday. To try and give players at least one "fair fight" every week.

I made a trade with SirDexter a while back. I sent the money to the wrong address, it went on IMX somewhere, long story.
Anyhow, he didn't write me accusing me of theft. He didn't come on the board saying that Torial stole his Illuvial. He nicely asked me to check.
When I figured out what happened he was STILL gracious and kind.
I got a hold of someone and figured out how to get the money. SirDexter worked with me and went through a bunch of hoops STILL being wonderful about it.
It all worked out. He got the money. I got the Illuvial.
I also learned something about his character that day.
That is why I jumped in when he was called out on here. I know first hand what he is like to deal with.

I made a mistake. He didn't lose his mind, he worked with me.
Those are the kind of people who make Illuvium a great community.

Yes, the goals of deathmatch are to have another stream of income from new players, help remove the (mega)oversupply of Illuvials, specially useless low lvl, and give finish a purpose out of the environment, as in Arena and MMO it should be just cosmetic. Making the lvl important would be a huge barrier for newcomers and would make it irrelevant as the advantage for high lvl and high TPI would be ridicoulous

i think xp booster are fked up. but well, it is what it is, it's one of the reasons why i dont even enter arena (also because it sucks - and i suck hehe). i played a ton of overworld and got a couple of characters to around lvl 40. the grind to get more was just almost impossible. but now i was made a fool for trying to make me illuvials strong by playing the game when anyone can swipe a credit card and get 1 bazillion % exp. I hope the "mmo" will be fun, at least

Levelling Illuvials is why I play.
I know it sounds odd to some people but I am never going to be able to play enough to be the best in Arena but I can get that feeling of satisfaction from having one of my favourite Illuvials flip to say 60..
I just wish I still had OW to do it in.

Craziest part though, right now occording to the data, Granite Vanguard and Verdant Vanguard are both in the Top 5 best performing teams.

What this changed, is people like me mindlessly picking up Rogues for a free win, get wrecked.

However, expert Rogue players seem to still destroy. So considering you are the Rogue Master in my eyes. I think you'll still perform extremely well.

They went from everybody wants to play them to being shaky

Some people could think that I would want them to be as strong as possible and that my bias makes me unaligned with the arena's best interest, however I don't benefit from them being overused

Yeah, that’s how rogues got nerfed in the first place, or maybe just bad game understanding, hard to tell with some ppl 😅 People who were bad with them or bad against them complained so much that they got overnerfed. The comp wasn’t even winning before in capped board vs capped board situations ^^ I can play anything, and I didn’t plan to have them as my main comp even before the nerf. But now more people will contest corner, which will make the RNG even higher and weapons will also play a huge part again with so many unplayable ones.

I would not be surprised to see some rogue builds going top 4 in games. Maybe not 1st/2nd. It's going to be way easier to hit your critical Illuvials with everyone flocking to corner comps.

The weapon part is really bothering me too now. With rogues I could still take the air bulwark spear for example. Even if it’s not optimal. But now it is just super bad to pick, wasted slot of weapon choices.

I don't think that this kind of data is accurate to determine what's good in a tournament but if people want to use it as an argument, I don't see rogues in the top 5 or top 9

This is the past 2 days of data, curious to see tomorrow once there won't be any pre-nerf games taken into account

There is also the idea that rogues are easier to play than other comps
It's easier to play them at 70-90% of their potential

If you or Axe Billionaire are getting wrecked, it should tell something about the comp

If there is 1 comp in the game that should give you good results even if you are a beginner, it's rogues, if they are competitive that is

The line between them being overused and them being underused is very thin for that very reason

It doesn't mean that you can't balance them out of course, it just means that when doing balance changes, expect that there is a certain power level below which most players suddenly stop playing and above which most players suddenly start playing it

If you're making an insane nerf (huge crit nerf + huge vanguard nerf) you're extremely likely to render them too weak

The ideal is to get close to the balance point, not to make huge swings

I didnt think I have a chance tbh, but at least a chance to beat a few people off guard with rogue. I have to start with 1 comp, u cannot go for all comps from start, because then u lose every game for a long time. You are in an amazing position that you got a lot of ur deck maxed. Its life on easy mode to just play with level 60 illuvials and beat even stronger comps but with lower level. I am jealous yes😆 the growth in this game is exponential. Once I reach level 60 illuvials, it will be much easier

I must say in this game its also really hard to see if I am doing something wrong, or its just my levels. Thats the pain of the paytowin scene here

when i start play new game i watch streamers. it's simple here to observe just people game, what they do and how play.
then you have to think what you doing wrong.
or just decide it's lvl difference and give up.

The only way you can properly learn is with an equal battleground. I know what augments do (definitely not optimal) and how to economize the game etc. I am still new and learning yes, but for now I decided to level up my rogues until 60 and then start properly learning. For me it feels like the only way

Ngl I had much more fun in the game before 1) rogue nerf and 2) before pros returning to go practicing for tournament😂 I am placing lower every game now, giving me less xp. The XP I gained in 1 games two weeks ago, is the same as now in 3 games

i'm kinda curious if people actually tried out other rogue comps. Like for example rolling for gyro umbre for additional damage or instead of going for jotun go for dualeph to get steam and range corner damage or whatever.
Cause if such changes to rogues makes them viable to play but harder to achieve the comp, it's exactly the nerf rogues needed... not being so easely accessible.

Buffing rogues again in next patch to make the typical vanguardd build viable again to at least get top 2 is imo the wrong thing to do.

If you want to play Dualeph + Umbre why playing rogues then? Just play water
Gyro + Umbre was already weak considering how hard it was to build before the rogue nerf, now they will crit even less

The game has been designed in a way that makes rogues synergize with each other, the most obvious ones being predators and vanguards, it's been designed in a way that should make vanguards a viable comp if it's correctly balanced

The same way that nature empath builds should be competitive if the game is balanced correctly, simply because there are 3 nature empath units if you don't take the ranger, T0s and Virtuous Floralynx into account
