You are being beyond ridiculous and I don’t understand why you even getting involved in this. So he can troll to cause a reaction from me but when he gets the reaction is a problem. He took 2 hours of MY time on a Saturday night while I was ready to do a video just for his personal pleasure of messing with me. I don’t know this guy and ever spoke to him. I don’t know you either . And honestly beyond disappointed of you turning this into a female thing. It has nothing to do with that. So what if I was a man it would be ok to do that to one of the content creators? There was a data breach roughly 2-3 years ago where the third party that Illuvium used had had the email adresses leaked. That was a very unfortunate happening. Everyone is still sad about it and we continue feeling the repercussions.

To circumvent this in the future and make life of the mods easier, im just looking for solutions 😄

A gift wallet would easily resolve this imo. And educating people on how to bulk send may ease the response as well. 2 hours for something that took the other party minutes is simply asking for future trolls to do the same. The old version of the airdrop has been stopped yeah. Season 3 won't begin until Gauntlet is in a more stable place and further updates are added (not too long now tbh, a lot has already been added)
This is so when rewards for ranked play etc go live, there is not issues that cause endless frustrations for competitors and increases the power of marketing towards mainstream adoption

There may also be rewards tied to other game modes such as Overworld, but that's not been confirmed

To be fair the less centralized something is, to more inefficient it becomes usually.
I agree though council atm feels not great, lots of it stems from many people having very different ideas on what should be expected from council members and what they should do in general.

I think ICC role could e.g. be 1-3 labs or IMC appointed people.
In theory discord mods could do that as well, I understand they are supposed to read chats anyways, which would be most of the work.

I am mostly worried how cheap it is to elect someone with the current token price and quadratic voting.
Even not assuming bad actors, having a relevant following and asking them to stake a 20$ token and vote, seems like a high EV tactic.

Incentives for many voters might also not align with DAO/Token interest currently.
If one holds substantial amounts of NFT, low amount of tokens, voting someone on a basis of "pump insert NFTs/give rewards to holder" could be a thing.

Same for maybe favoring airdrop or marketing spends on tournaments etc. instead of DAO beneficial ways.

When I talk about cutting back on council, I want the decision making power to be with labs, not with community. I wouldn't vote for a direct vote system where labs had to do what community said.
I have always been honest about the fact that I invested in Illuvium in spite of it being a DAO not because it is one. I also invested less than I would have if it had not been a DAO.

We have some really great, intelligent community members in here. Team would be smart to listen to a lot of them. All skills, education and backgrounds are represented in this Discord and the pool of knowledge is impressive.
But as you point out there can be shady reasons for voting certain ways. There can also be votes happening when people are not educated on issues (and don't want to take time to learn about them). Having a day job and keeping up on all the issues to make good voting decisions is a lot of commitment. Then there's votes where people just vote the way that their buddy is voting. It can lead to disaster.

If people are actually invested in Illuvium like they are supposed to invest - where if it goes to 0 they will still be OK- they should not make the final decisions. I want the people who will hurt hard - financially, reputationally and mentally - if the project fails making the final decisions. I want people who have actual skin in the game to make the choices, they may still make wrong ones but at least I know they will do their best to succeed.

We've had a lot of good people on council and still do. Going to use you as an example. You have gaming experience that a lot of us don't. It's why I thought you were a good choice to get that opinion in there but I also know that you are still willing to give opinions that can help Illuvium now. If we have to pay someone and give them a council role for them to want to help Illuvium succeed we have put the wrong people in council anyway.

Should prob also ask people to stake some amount related to expected council pay when they sign up to be voted on and ask for higher amount when elected imo. like 10-20% to sign up staked for 12 months and maybe 50% or so when elected.

yeah, that x account will post a quest, post your passport address as a reply to register (within 30 minutes from announcement), then contest starts, first to complete the quest will rise on the leaderboard, sometimes there's bonus prizes like beyond d1sks and things but i have that off for right now test)

Maybe use a different x account just to be safe, but if its just your account and do a scrape 1 min after comp closes should be ok. I'm part of a startup thats reading 1000s of x's across 1000s of accounts a day but its paying for the api i'll have to look into how its set up and how much but for your purposes 1 x account every x mins seems pretty minimal... strongly reccomend trying cursor to if you havent used it before its a game changer for development/programming

Maybe try and reach round 40 in survival gauntlet with your illuvials to unlock x emote for the month or something. I mean the only thing I can think of to incentivise owning illuvials in the Non-Levi mode is to add some benefits that are not impacting the game as much. For instance your vote counts more towards the region selection if you own x illuvials, dish out more damage against the leviathan bosses or something like that. Anything that is not really impacting the actual PvP aspect

hmmm, if i try to be positive and make a guess. earliest possible day will be next year 2026. fixing the arena game is taking the team atleast 5-6 months now (from the day season 2 ended)and not finished yet.. but OW MMO-lite will be much different game from the current OW, especially introduction of multiplayer, so i guess, it will take much longer than the arena game.. hope im wrong

Unironically it's always a different reason that these bugs appear. Missing them in testing is unusual but most of the time its the interoperability that causes unforeseen problems. For example with the stat jumble it happened because of Trait Purity being added to the Illuvidex and I'm not sure if they tested the systems together or to what extent, but ultimately 2 teams working on 2 components that interact caused unforeseen issues that were rapidly resolved.

Honestly they get fixes done fast, bringing those fixes to the public is what takes a long time, and I am not sure why.

Yeah, but for the most part it's done in the backend and you focus on playing, collecting, exploring etc. All it changes is that you'll own the things you collect.

Sometimes, like you experienced, there can be slight delays in things processing, but that'll be more so for the f2p aspect, as there's a lot more of those transactiosn hitting the blockchain... So it's just the case of 'the que is bigger' basically kekw

But yeah, enjoy collecting, and if you run into any confusions or get stuck along the way, myself, the other mods, and the community will be happy to help out!
