you are right in the sense that you cannot now your exact position as "leaderboard" is affected by milestone points inclusion. But you can subtract milestone points from your total points you get your current season points. I doubt more then few hundred players are curently working on daily/ weekly quests so if you do so every day or so and complete most "dificult " ones that needs stage 3 map runs you should be within top 500 for sure

i mean that its hard to rise a competitive scene without players and there's less chances with a autochess game ( less ppl likes autochess compared with other competitive games )maybe that's why there's no more people willing to pay for illuvials(search or buy from market) and play gaunlet. idk if in a gaunlet match the stats of illuvials really matter ,i feel like those stats are better for pokemon like games.
