How I see it, if we are going to give away ILV for people that literally shoot rocks to earn it, why not instead give ILV for all matches won. But have a daily limit. Think Axie Infinity, but we would think of ways to improve and not make the mistakes they made.

The aegis gives more resistance based on the resistance of the caster right? Regardless it is a tanky healer. Perfect stats for that role.

So i think it is a pretty good one. Sad for low damage and attack speed. But even with max both he would only have 150~ attack damage.

Compare that to Revo with 250+ and you realise that it isnt too big a deal.

But other grindy/end game modes of burning 1000 illuvials into one illuvial also exist etc.....

Your first point is a system one and would only occur if we had millions of players. Remember the burning sink utility will also need other resources like fuel etc... and will probably progressively get more expensive. Your second point contradicts your first. There is a bonding curve for illuvials so they should become rarer as more get caught. If millions of players are burning them then that decreases the supply. Finally you need to buy fuel to create more supply of illuvials its not like there are billions on the market so far. Your third point is a bit exagerated why would billions of bugs pop up per illuvial minted or burned it just doesnt make sense mate code doesnt work like that...
