so its statistical, you shoot plants and get all essences of the tier randomly

It's a collection game where you make progression on ALL THE STATS of each stage of illuvial. It's a truly amazing collectible game from a design perspective. I had a suggestion to help make it more approach for starting players where you could access starter illuvials for leviathan for the entire collection, but they come at basic levels and base stats with no boosts. So they can play with everything right away, but it's the weakest form of that thing--as we know stats make a big big difference in power on the battlefield. every stat of a fused illuvial is a random of 3 same stats of spent illuvials, so if one of stats had 2 5 9 in 3 illuvials, you get 2 with 1/3 prob , 5 with 1/3 prob and 9 with 1/3 prob. so to have all stats maxed out with high prob, you need to have all 3 illuvials you fuse with all stats maxed out. if they are not, its a lot of rng, as you can see, even if 2 were with maxed stats and one was bad, you will end up with bad stats with 1/3 probs, which is a lot.

I was just trying to be a proponent of not allowing multiple accounts as it obviously creates an unfair advantage. I also think I traded 1 Illuvial throughout both seasons. I don't know yeah I created a ticket to appeal it. Sorry for bothering you @hexed wren... I just stated some obvious reasons I've seen mods say are not allowed but I think the rules have been changed during the seasons as well. Before they werent so strict on multi accounts but now it's a rule you can't do it. You could trade some illuvials before but not a significant amount of an account in a short time and so on. I've also seen videos of people teleporting to illuvial encounters in the overworld. Maybe there were other exploits that I haven't noticed but the team was aware of and you got flagged for one but I'm just a player like you sadly I don't have more info for you

I don't know about you but I've played a few games in my time that are exactly like this. You start out f2p with a choice of a few weak decks that will only get you so far. This gives you time to learn the game and discover your play style. If you like the game you begin to invest in a strong deck to climb the leaderboard. If not you move to something else

This method of onboarding is tried and tested. I not sure why at Illuvium we have to reinvent the wheel on this issue tbh

Yes, my rhampyre hit 60. But I am encouraging the team to make it open ended, but extremely difficult for levels 61/62/63. LIke in the millions of XP to reach them. 700,000 XP to reach lvl 60.

Sure it could, best example I have from my own experience is clash royale. In that game you can unlock most characters on day one but they'll be crap so you'll be capped low down on the leaderboard. We could do similar here. Give everyone level 1 zero stat boosted versions of all the illuvials that they don't own and can't level. To progress, these Rangers will have catch, buy or fuse their own teams.

The lower ranks don’t get much, but something to motivate everyone to play. The higher you go in leviathan rankings the more you should get with the top player maiking $1000 or more to really motivate people to improve their teams by going into the overworld.

I dont want to be hater I def want this game to succeed, but it seems to me that if one isnt invested (via ILV or land or both) one will prob not pick it up or move past the annoying or boring parts. There are barrier to entry on all different aspects of this game and not being able to skip a lame tutorial is just one of the many. Why did it not save my progress and instead I have to start from the beginning again, every other basic game would have done this. Well intentioned advice to the team focus a lot more on UX from a perspective of pple that are not invested in the game.

what do you guys think about the shard prices? like buying a t4 shard in the marketplace is about 0.80 dollar which gives me a 60% chance to catch a t4 illuvial. So if you want to place a sell order of 5 fuel for 1$ each what happens is;
The DAO takes those 5 fuel adds 95 fuel and places a sell order about 100 fuel for 100$ (1$ each fuel)
so when the sell order is bought up, you got your 5$ for your 5 fuel and the DAO got their 95$ for their 95 fuel and the ratio of the 95:5 revenue split keeps being held.

the price calcualtion is simple supply and demand market.
If demand is lower than supply, prices fall.
I guess at the moment the demand is super low and the supply keeps increasing.
Another 90% drop is rough, but absolutely possible.

Keep in mind though; Fuel is almost the only revenue the DAO generates for now (+ the dex fees), so i guess it is a top priority to fix the UI to stop the rough undercutting of the landowners and create more demand.

Are you sure you are understanding what 'immunity' does? As far as I am aware, it is not immune to damage. Immunity grants immunity to things like blind, charmed, etc.
Becoming immune to damage for x amount of time, you will need 'invulnerable'

This happened as I downloaded the game through the Epic Games Store, where I needed to create a new account, now my IMX passport is linked to this new account instead of my "main" account

I'll try to help you without asking any information, just try these steps if you want:

• Confirm your Passport Address

1. Login in passport.immutable.com and check in the top right corner if you're using the same wallet in the Illuvium. You also can go to external wallets and check what external wallet you've linked and you also can add another one / remove / edit if you want.
2. If everything looks good, you Passport match with what you're using in the Illuvium website to check you account, profile... Try to open the game launch on Epic and check if the pop up to login in the Passport is open using the same web browser profile.

• Fresh instalation

1. Well, if everything above is working, you can try a fresh instalation of the game to check if some temp file is causing the issue. To do that, first you need to delete the folder Save in %appdata%/.../Local/Illuvium/ (if you want to save a backup, save it!)
2. After remove the save folder, uninstall Illuvium apps in Epic Games Launcher. Restart your computer and install everything again.

I miss capturing tier 5 with tier 4 shards, I think if you get drone upgrades for capture power, especially since they are expensive to craft should be more of a chance to capture tier 5 with t4 shards

Agree the shard change is #1 turn off and causing people to stop playing even with fuel lower

Insanely expansive to buy, mine, craft, drone upgrade and then to still have 60% with 3-4 fails is not it imo. Anti player retention
