The biggest problem when playing the game is that the worlds just feel so empty. You basically just walk to resources and occasionally fight 20secs

This has been a topic of conversation within one of our meetings as we were wondering the same thing. We hadn't come to anything concrete yet but this became my personal take on it. I'm open to hearing your thoughts on the matter and maybe improve my stance for when we return to the subject:

For an IIP, you would require full knowledge of what is going on. In this case, Illuvium Labs had signed an NDA to partner up with Gamestop making that nearly impossible.

I think, as non-professionals but <@&1107754780744487002> representatives, we should not be in-between Illuvium-labs and a potential partner and thereby risk limiting the project's partner options. After all, this deal was between two projects, and sharing it with a bunch of community representatives may make the Web-2 partner antsy. (why do we give information to 5-17 extra people who we never talked to before!?)

I personally would expect the marketing council to become a middle man in this when appropriate. This means, only when the marketing sub-council initiates a partnership, would I expect them to be in the know of the specifics of the partnership. Then Imo they should be bound with an NDA to not leak that information past their specific sub-council. Sharing information with the entire community about how the partnership - distributions and other acts would work, may be too transparency. Since they would be the representatives for marketing, chosen by the community, I would expect them to do a sufficient job without having to alert said entire community with formal IIP's.

But in this case, Illuvium Labs would have to disclose topics with those who had nothing to do with the initial discussions, opening up that information beyond the initial group of people involved. I don't think that would have made things beneficial for the deal and may have instead scared them off instead.

To clarify: I don't know whether the marketing subcouncil knew about the details, but I think it was fair for them not to know.

There's no way ILV or any game who hasn't launched yet is going to realiably sell or increase in value until their product is launched. Where insurance spends money no matter what and workign in insurance I know the industry has done insane record sales/claims

Like I suggest, the bear market is not done.
More illuvitar sales sooner makes sense as only thing really happening from an economic standpoint in the system and new pricing on alphas look much better. I would not compensate wave one alpha buyers in any way (and I was one of them). It was just how it was and it was an experiment as this whole system is and it's always buyer beware. But do have the probabilities out days before so we understand what we are buying. And to get an illuvitar "card" game out this year would be awesome. Bottom line, this whole ecosystem is not to get rich but to have fun and to participate in the economics in some way as it enhances the game theory, as chips in a local poker game do. Overall good job ILV management with a trailblazing process.

It is better to have a Holo, yes.
The power is used if you want to start collecting Illuvitars and participating in the Illuvium Beyond Leaderboard.
The difference in guys is known as Tiers and Stages. Doka is a Tier 0. Archie is a Stage 1 Tier 1.
The guy with glasses and flames is called Krunk and he is Stage 2 Tier 3.
The stages and tiers make a difference both for Illuvium Beyond and when you play the games you got the Beta Code for if you bought a Promo D1sk. These games are Overworld where you capture Illuvials and Arena where you use them to do autobattling.

yeah. land does allow you to get access if you verify your holdings and fill in a form. And it will also allow you to play Illuvium Zero; the third game they are in the process of creating where you can play the alpha version where you will be able to mint the blueprint NFT's that you obtain while playing. (Just 15 gift-NFT's. Nothing super special)

But Land also allows you to get fuel in overworld, right? You can't really collect your pokemon without it as I understand.

Right, any asset above the Tier 0s (the weakest and most common assets), will be obtained in the overworld after you pay for an expedition in [fuel].
You can easily buy the fuel with Ethereum once the game is in the Open-beta version, but you can indeed produce your own fuel on land once the interoperability is there.
For now, the land is just in a testing phase with a small thank you for looking for bugs in the alpha version. and playing the overworld version now is just for fun and doesn't require any payments of course.
